If you want your storage safe and secure definetelly do NOT go to Grace. If you want to avoid hidden cost - do NOT go to grace! As I've personally experienced both and I was left in shock and disbelieve. --- Our story with Grace started with their child company SmartBox2u. It didn't start well. My storage box was taken at 5am in front of my house instead of 12pm as it was supposed to. Half-packed and not secured. I was told it will be taken at midday but planning team made a "mistake". I had staff coming in their cars picking up boxes and putting them into the storage unit @ Grace in Greenacre. Many months later we decided to move to Europe and I was recommended by SmartBox2u to use Grace for the move (their parent company). I gave them my exact requirements: - I need my items currently in Grace's Greenacre storage to be moved - Deliver to address overseas (Europe) on required day and as fast as possible. This was key requirement because we've a toddler so many items in that storage will be key for us to live at new place. I negotiated different price with few other companies with same requirement and Grace gave me the best price based on my REQUIREMENTS. On the day of packing, I went to the warehouse to make sure that move from storage box to the truck for international shipping is successful. I was shocked and horrified. My storage box was easily accessible including some others people boxes. Unlocked! There was only one person for whole warehouse that was not even present. Not even watching surveillance cameras (I went to office in search for him - BTW all my personal details inc. others were just laying down on the desk). I could have taken any items from the box put them in the car and drive away. He wouldn't have noticed. I parked the car outside so nobody would have even have a chance to see my car plate (not even camera recordings). Once the person came in I just pointed to my box. I said it's mine and my ID wasn't even verified and NOT EVEN my name! Again, I was in complete disbelief. Few months later once my container finally arrived in Europe I was presented within another bill of €2000 ( ~$3200 ) AUD! I was pretty much told “for your items to be delivered on a certain date we'll have to charge you extra. This quote has been provided by our sub-contractor in Europe. Otherwise your items will be delivered in span of 1 - 3 months!!!” ——— this is a company that pride themselves on their great service???

I am absolutely disgraced with your service. The supposed “manager” James who called me today was appalling. The tone in his voice was one who should not be representing your company. The fact that he was calling me a liar for his mistake was unimaginable! Not once or EVER did he tell me the storage unit had to be picked up the next day by 12pm. Never ever have I had a problem with your company before. Every time previously everyone has been so helpful and understanding in providing quality customer care. You can probably see from my customer file that I have had the storage unit for a number of days before it was collected in the past. The fact that this policy has changed and is a now blanket ‘NO’ should be communicated with your customers, prior to be being abused on the phone. Especially in the circumstance where your customer has negotiated a delivery date as the first one was not suitable and WORKED WITH YOU. For a WHOLE week we went without furniture. You should also state in your terms and conditions to give 2 weeks notice for re-delivery! As in the past I have called and its been delivered 3 days later! Not 2 weeks. Also not to mention the fact that the storage units are now delivered on a trailer with a height of 1 meter from the ground! This is UNSAFE for your customers. Originally you had a service where this was delivered using a fork lift and placed on the ground. Allowing people to walk straight into the container to load/unload there items. I am so very embarrassed that I have given praise to your company to friends and family. Let me remind you… How does this service work? "we can leave it there so that you can load your belongings in your own time"

Excellent idea for storage. As a customer you can have many days to load the pod to suit your requirements. The drivers (one in, one out), were friendly and helpful even though the task of locating the trailer (between a boat and a parked car off a narrow lane) was difficult. The interior (10 cubic metre) wooden pod is solid and provides plenty of space for storage (if you know how to stack and pack). Securing hooks throughout, means you can tie in the load, if needed. The trailer used for delivery was solid and strong, giving confidence that the whole unit was up for the job! From inquiry, through booking (James was also excellent), and then delivery and pick up, Grace were professional throughout. Leo

Would not use again. You will different answers to whoever you meet and always rude when on the phone. Impossible to know anything, confusing and irritating. Also the containers get moved tto a bigger facility in Greenacre which is super impossible to get into. We missed the timings to biew our container the first time and expected me to pay a $100 fee for not showing up. And can only call them Monday to Friday business hours. Ridiculous if you ate working in those times, call in lunch break when no one answers the phone and when they do, put you on hold for more than 5 mins and dont even answer your question. One disappointed customer sorry.

I placed my whole life into one of Grace Self Storage units for what I thought was going to be a few months... 38 months later and I finally got to unpack my belongings again. A little worried about some of my belonging such as my leather clothing, shoes, lounge with the humidity of Sydney weather, I was extremely please to see everything survived and no damage was done. The guys whom unpacked me were incredibly good and worked with my instruction well. The only thing I wish I was told when putting stuff into storage, was to ensure I had covered everything. As the dust was the only thing I have to complain about.

Top service, from load to unload! I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for, and in this case, so true and was truly great customer service, from initial enquiry to redelivery! John and his team were polite, professional and ever so careful with ensuring items were heavily wrapped and secured. I was sceptical initially with removalists in general (my inlaws had all glass caninets broken with their wall unit - went with a local newspaper mob!, cheap) a real hit and miss, but was proved wrong! Cannot speak highly enough, glad we went with Grace!

The service is exactly as described. I used the Packing Service also, whereby Grace provided personnel to assist with the packing of the container. These people were all very polite, efficient and careful. I had plenty of time to prepare the packing and this provided the only snag, as the containers are also of limited Maximum Weight. SO when choosing your storage solution consider also what the maximum weight may be, as I did not fill my container, but reached the weight limit, therefrore requiring two 'containers.

Very happy, everyone, I dealt with were polite, helpful, great customer service. James was outstanding trying to help our move go as smoothly as possible. John, the driver was terrific, (as was Devin) giving us the time to make sure the set up of the pod was as good as possible to meet our needs. To sum up, exceptional service and communication, very helpful and polite staff. All this and a very reasonable price which makes moving easy as. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I had great experience with Grace Storage, customer oriented and innovating company! 24 hours limit for box/trailer stay is a bit too tight, but Jose was a bloody legend and gave me a hand with several big ticket items to unload them from the box - much appreciated! everyone else were friendly and good to work with as well, thank you James for coordination of everything. I am thankful for the care that Grace Self Storage took when they delivered and picked up the container I've ordered three years ago, how they helped when I needed to pick up a few things from that container in storage and for the smooth and friendly way they organised the return of my stuff three years later. The cost is very reasonable so I highly recommend this company.

We put stuff in storage thinking we would be working overseas for 2-3 years. It turned in to 10! When we finally retrieved our belongings, everything was a bit dusty but otherwise clean and more importantly intact. The delivery of our box was flawless, on time as promised. Good communication throughout. Well worth the money.

Great service option for long term storage. Reasonable prices and easy to coordinate pickup and drop-off. Had our goods in storage for 3 years. No damage or problems although a little bit of black dust across some of our items.

The Grace team got the job done for us with their Load4U and Unload4U services, a great combination of storage and removal services combined when you need some storage time in between moving properties.
