"Their way of taking care of their customers which are patients people with disabilities and and injuries, just people in general they don't have enough hearts in that whole building to understand that their way is not always the best way as far as following the rules and trying to get a patient to understand exactly what the rules are it's just not necessary for a hospital pharmacy I would rather not have my medicine to be sent to this place at all I love Grady hospital I always have but the pharmacy has changed the pharmacy does not have the best interest of the patient the pharmacy is the opposite of Grady hospital I was misunderstood there I have hearing problem I suffer with other problems and I was just not understood I trying to get my medicine and I just don't think that they use the best judgment when dealing with patients and people that suffer with injuries there thanks for listening♥️"
"I've been using the Grady Outpatient Pharmacy for about a year now, and I have nothing but good things to say about the service"
"If there was a zero I would give it to them"
"The wait is long if you don’t call in prior to arriving, not long at all if you go in the evening about 90 min before close"
If you are in a bind with no alternatives or insurance and you absolutely need your medication then by all means apply for a grady finical plan, and fill your medications here. They will be cheaper than any CVS Kroger or Walmart. My insulin was 5 dollars which was great because normally one vial would cost me upwards of a 100 dollars. That said, you will get what you pay for. You MUST call for your prescriptions in advance, your meds will almost never be filled the same day, and, most importantly, be prepared to WAIT. These are some arbitrary, Free to Play, mobile RPG tier wait times. Do not fall into trap of thinking that calling in your prescription dramatically reduces your wait time, at least in the traditional sense. The only thing that calling in your prescription does is reserve your medication which improves your wait time from "You're not getting meds today" to "you will get your meds at some point today." I suggest going in an hour before they close to pick up your prescription. There are less people in front of you at that time so you might get your meds in under 30mins. Never go on a Friday, and never go on any day between 12pm - 4pm. Even with these suggestions you may still end up waiting an hour or more depending on your luck, so bring your "anti-bored kit" (Ex: a fully charged cell phone with games and music, headphones, some pencils, paper, a book, your best friend...etc.) (Ps: If you bring your best friend make sure that your realationship is strong because they may resent you for dragging them along.)
Their way of taking care of their customers which are patients people with disabilities and and injuries, just people in general they don't have enough hearts in that whole building to understand that their way is not always the best way as far as following the rules and trying to get a patient to understand exactly what the rules are it's just not necessary for a hospital pharmacy I would rather not have my medicine to be sent to this place at all I love Grady hospital I always have but the pharmacy has changed the pharmacy does not have the best interest of the patient the pharmacy is the opposite of Grady hospital I was misunderstood there I have hearing problem I suffer with other problems and I was just not understood I trying to get my medicine and I just don't think that they use the best judgment when dealing with patients and people that suffer with injuries there thanks for listening♥️
I've been using the Grady Outpatient Pharmacy for about a year now, and I have nothing but good things to say about the service. They take care of an enormous volume of patients, so sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but you can keep that wait time short simply by using the automated phone system for refills. You get a call when your order is ready to pick up, and I usually never wait more than 10 or 15 minutes once I'm there. The techs and the pharmacists are always professional and pleasant, and they always provide good quality information about my meds, and take the time to answer all my questions. I'm really glad I found them. :)
If there was a zero I would give it to them. They do not pick up their phones for transfers, and then when you ask them to do it they become rude. The pharmacy manager there ms Marie is a joke. I told her to transfer all of my medications to cvs. Cvs never received half my meds, and ms Marie said no they said to transfer only certain ones. That was a lie. She then said she didn't have time for me and started to wipe down counters and screens. While she was doing this I asked her again to please do her job and transfer my meds. She finally did but took no responsibility. I almost had to go to the er!
The wait is long if you don’t call in prior to arriving, not long at all if you go in the evening about 90 min before close. I send ALL my prescription there, I really don’t pay anything. CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Publix, and even the hospital that I work at charges me 3, 10, even 100 hundreds times more than Grady outpatient pharmacy. Oh BTW I change to mail order and as long as I request 2 to 3 days before running out, it has arrived at my home always in time. Atlanta can’t live without Grady.
Went down to the pharmacy this morning to pick up my medication after calling it in yesterday. The pharmacy tech advise me I did my refill through central, she advise me she would cancel that refill and push it through at the Grady outpatient pharmacy. I got my prescription within minutes. Keep up the good customer service ladies. You deserve positive feedback because I know with the location at times you don’t get pleasurable patience. Keep being great at what you do. Thank you.
This place needs to shut down.I waited two hours on medication. They told me that it would be ready in one hour.I go to the counter to be told that my medicine is not there. The women have non challant attitudes. (I DON'T CARE ATTITUDES) It is very clear that they DO NOT have any concern or compassion for the people that comes in there. That pharmacy is the WORST one in ATLANTA.YOU definitely WILL NOT get out of there before the parking meter time is up.
Place is good to get medicine filled .bit they have too many peole trying to act crazy to get their mediocre filled.place gets too many peole in there and then it is hard to be social distancing. Bit the staff is nice and friendly.if you follow their ways to get the scripts filled all is well.jist think and try to be on track and fo the right way.thanks you for all you do for me.
Poor people's pharmacy. Getting refills is okay if you call the refill line 2 days ahead of time, your refill will be waiting. For new prescriptions, calling it in doesn't change anything, they refuse to do the work until you are there in person, so a wait of 1 to 4 hours depending on how busy they are and whether they forget you are there.
I love coming here too pick up my epilepsy seizures medicine they go pretty fast for me some days can be overwhelming because of others nasty attitude they can’t wait in line without getting smart but I been coming here for a year with no problems and the price are great …
It's okay if you need to get your meds cheap. $5 for each meds for their service is very very slow. If they hired more people & get their priorities right, then their service would be much easier. Also, they need to learn not to call ppl numbers if their meds aren't ready.
Employees act as tho you’ve owed them money for the last thirty years and still didn’t pay..waited 3 plus hours and meds still weren’t ready. These employees need to work with inanimate objects not people or animals. Attitude adjustments are significantly needed.
At best you'll get your meds in under a hour..Even calling in advance..so be prepared to wait..Hey folk,a state hospital..And the infamous..now serving announcement!..you should know how this goes..if you been to the IRS downtown or the DMV at South DeKalb Mall.
Everytime I refill my prescription, it's literally never ready for pick- up. The wait time is ridiculous and the customer service doesn't seem like they care enough. It shouldn't take over 2hrs get pick up a prescription that was already place for pick up
Being a grady patient for years pharmacy customer service by phone or in person still being bad , today 12/28/2023 at 10:40 am the pharmacy girl who answered the phone is being disrespectful you guys have a sign zero tolerance but must be both ways
I feel as though they purposefully inconvenience you. There are only four people here to pick up prescriptions. She found my prescription and put it on the shelf and I have to wait for someone to ring me up.... JFC...
Dear stranger, who gave me her number to get my medicine sooner, thank you. It is always so very busy in here, I much prefer getting my medicine at the Kirkwood clinic, where my PCP is, but I was already downtown.
Why doesn't anyone ever answer the phone? I'm simply trying to get my prescription transferred. Does anyone know of a working number where I can speak to a live representative?
Understaffed and extremely rude for just asking a question about drug interactions. Definitely not patient friendly. Would not recommend getting anything filled here!!!!
Called refill in 4days ahead of time still had to wait 45mins. Don't understand the point of calling a prescription only to have them prepare it when you arrive.
This place is awesome considering the sliding fees short wait time for meds and walk in clinic. If you don't have insurance Grady is a great option to consider!
May be slow and crowded even when you call your refill in... can’t beat price. Horrible parking situation. Have a collection of parking tickets. Take Marta.
1 star is too high for the service here. I don't do many reviews, but to have this many people waiting on service is unacceptable for a pharmacy.
Understaffed, but those on duty are patient, kind, and willing to help. They listen. Better care than I receive at the CVS near my house.
Has anyone noticed how loud the music is? Sometimes the wait is LONG. But I'm a talker. I pass the time by meeting interesting people.
This place is slow as a snail the customer service is elementary no concerns what so ever this place is redicoulas at its best..
This place is completely ludicrous. To spend more time in the pharmacy than at the actual appointment is completely ludicrous.
Needs an entire new staff!!!!!!!! The Attitudes these women have towards people are ridiculous!!! The rudest staff ever!!!!!!
Today moved along quickly, but they forgot one of my prescriptions so I have to go back again....Frustrating!
Very very rude and slow as ever even when. U call 3days prior to picking up prescriptions.and girls rude.
The in-and-out time is probably longer than most other pharmacies but the prices can't be beat
I call to check on my medication. And the phone rang for ten minutes. No one never pick up.
I'd rather get my meds from Dr Dre than to go to this place horrible experience everytime
Crazy Lines! Crazy Wait Time! Had To Sit for 1hr And 20 Mins To Get 3 Kinds Of Medicine.
The ladies that work here are really disrespectful. They could use sensitivity classes.
I pray for the workers & I pray for the people they service, lord help Fulton County
Reasonable price but it's a long wait. Be prepared to be there for an hour.
Always very friendly staff...especially for as busy as they are.!!
Good prices. Disorganized with long waits so plan for extra time.
Great location and service. Sometimes there is a wait.
Took an hour and a half to get 1 prescription filled.
They did try to help more than any other place
It was alright. Have to wait a hour and more.
Lines are slow when picking up prescription.
Atlanta can't live without Grady Hospital.
Be prepared to wait 2 hours at the least.
Need to hire more professional staff!!!
These people were not helpful at all.
