Hannah Thomas charged me 300 pounds a few years ago just for talking to her for an hour and a half when she knew she couldn't help me in an employment issue. Still hurts to this day to pay so much money just for talking. I shouldn't have been charged when you knew you couldn't help me. Be careful of this firm please. One of my biggest regrets going there. Mr Cruddington, in your response you sound annoyed. If anyone should be annoyed it should be me. I don't care when Hannah Thomas left and yes i know which firm i went to thank you very much. And no you can't find my name because i use a username for my email not my actual name so calm down. I did speak to the receptionist who told me i had signed paperwork that i would pay for 'services' and a copy of my passport had been taken. She like Hannah clearly knew i didn't know the system or how to complain and the receptionist didn't say i could either. Not everyone knows what to do Mr Cruddington! Besides i was going through a lot at my place of employment which is why i came to the firm in the first place. You should be more annoyed that an employee of yours took advantage of a vulnerable and clueless person ,instead of responding angrily because i left a bad review. £300 plus pounds is not a small amount of money!

They are very friendly and kind. They ensure that the process is not costly for the client allocating a junior solicitor to the case, who only scans the evidence to avoid increasing the cost, work for a settlement and offer a no win no fee when is possible. This may work for small and uncomplicated cases. However, if the perpretator/other party is a tough opponent, has a solicitor from the city, plays dirty tricks, or is not willing a settlement, your goose is cooked, independently of the strength of your case. Grant Saw are solicitors so, as they work preparing documents, they may reply to this comment with eloquent words. But if you have a serious and big case that cannot be used only as a case study, you may want to consider going somewhere else.

Grant Saw undertook the conveyancing for both the sale and purchase during my house move. Service was disjointed with three different people working on the case and were not willing to listen to client feedback. I recently called Grant Saw for initial advice on a couple of unrelated matters and spoke to both a locum and in-house solicitor respectfully. Both were knowledgeable and helpful and non-pushy in terms of follow- up after the initial advice given. Whilst I prefer not to need a solicitor if I can help it, they will be my local go-to from now on if I need advice and more on legal matters.
