I came to Grants because a neighbour recommended this place when I first moved here. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, and I was worried about being swindled, so I decided to take the recommendation! I tried calling a few times on the weekends to see about making an appointment, but there was never an answer or call back to my voicemail. I eventually went there in person and made an easy appointment to fix my exhaust and check a sticky emergency brake. I left my car with Geoff for the day and he called me with a quote early afternoon to replace the whole exhaust. The cost was on the higher end from what I had heard from other people, but my impatience and the hope for good quality work made me decide to go ahead with it. They replaced the entire exhaust system and everything looks/sounds great! Would recommend for high quality work, at high quality prices. Might try another place next time for a better deal - but I'm happy with my service here!

Can't say enough positive things about Geoff and his garage. Extremely professional and friendly. I was told (by another garage) I needed $1200.00 worth of front suspension work to fix the shake in my steering wheel. Geoff had a look and immediately told me the balancing in my LF tire was completely off. He checked every part of my suspension, then balanced the tire. Problem solved! Absolutely nothing wrong with my suspension...and thankfully Grant Street is one business that won't rip off it's customers. 100% recommended!!

Started taking my car in here for some basics when I’d moved in around the corner. So far been very happy with everything, the guys working there are super solid and very accommodating. Plus, it’s always nice when you’re expecting something to need replacing and hearing that it can just be fixed for a fraction of the cost. As long as these guys can do the work, I’m not taking my car anywhere else.

I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate having these guys around. Fair, honest, giving, and professional, are just the tip of the iceberg of positive adjectives I could use to describe this garage. I have to hand it to the head mechanic Geoff he did a great job setting me up with some michellin winter tires and tipped me off that the previous shop I went to took my tps sensors of my stock rims.

I showed up at 3 o’clock with a broken right front wheel bearing on my truck it was repaired and ready to go before 5 o’clock at more than a fair price and good quality service highly recommended.
