When choosing a primary school for my daughter five years ago, I thoroughly did my research. Looking at five schools in my local area of South Morang. I heard via word of mouth about Greensborough Primary School from a total stranger, so off I set. From the moment I stepped through the front door I was greeted with a warm smile and addressed by my name followed by a friendly greeting for my daughter. By the end of the tour, the principal refused my over excited enrolment request to enrol her on the spot and told me to go home and think about it, she advised me to make a check list of all the things that were of importance to me and the education of my daughter keeping in mind the commute everyday. Here we are 5 years later and I am so grateful that I trusted my instinct. The team at Greensborough Primary are absolutely amazing. People ask me all the time why I chose this school and why I drive an hour each day to get my daughter's to and from school and the answer is easy. When they walk through that gate each day, I can breathe easy. It's like they are home. They are safe, supported all whilst in an incredibly amazing learning environment. Each year I have been extremely impressed by the teachers my children have had. The regular feedback, the bonds between staff and children and their level of learning each year. I could not recommend this school highly enough. All the people that once thought I was mad (I literally live across the road from a primary school and pass five more on the way) have now seen the impact this school has had on my children. The extensive reports they receive and the fantastic reviews I have given about all the staff. I am grateful everyday for the stranger I crossed paths with that day, who told me about Greensborough Primary School.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Foti.. both my children attended Greensborough and we couldn’t be more happier with our choice of school. We were truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful school. Professional, efficient, organised, supportive, welcoming, Friendly, compassionate and just simply a really great group of people to be around... One of our children is mainstream and the other is a special needs child ... the best of both worlds. They have flourished. I am so proud of them both and so fortunate to have been part of such caring community. We are so grateful for all the compassion and support we received from both Principle and vice principle ... teaching staff and aides and office and admin staff... I couldn’t recommend them anymore if I tried. My advise ? Go visit. You’ll be happy you did.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this school with both my children. From lack of attention to bullying, failure to recognise and assist with learning etc etc. When experiencing financial problems I found the school pushey and not supportive. Even to the point of taking my child’s books off him because they thought we were not paying school fees, despite them later looking into it and discovering we were. They lose paperwork and claim you never handed it in and blame everything on the office staff. They seem like a great school at first but once you enrol don’t expect them to take you seriously or assist you or your child with any issues.

My nephew & niece both attended greensborough primary school with positive experiences. I chose another school for proximity....and on initial visiting, seemed ok. Fast-forward 2 years later & Im moving my children (due to inadequacies in teaching) to Greensborough Primary School. No looking back since. Great teachers, great curriculum, fantastic extension programs & STEM (my children love coding) & great school community. Only regret....not going to Greensborough Primary School in the first place.

Lovely small school with great programs for the students - i especially love how they cater for individual students to push their education. Teachers are great and I'm pleased that all our children are going through here.
