When I first visited here many years ago everything in there was a pound,then it slowly went up to £2.00 then 3.00 now it's gone mental. You might as well go to Waterstones. A book that's in The Works in Lewisham for a fiver,knocked down from £15.00 is now in this shop for a tenner. I was amazed. I realise thats it's an independent bookshop,but why has the prices gone up so much? I realise that they are based in Greenwich so the rent cant be cheap,but still.... Won't be going back. One of my absolute favourite shops is off me list now. GUTTED

Excellent bargain bookshop stocking new, discounted books on a wide range of subjects. There’s a few bookshops of this type across London, this is one of the better ones, as the stock is so varied and not merely a repository for remainders. Strong on fine art, politics, biography, literature, children’s books and a whole range of non-fiction titles. They also have great diaries, notebooks and cards. Staff are friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure to visit.

As a kid my mum took me here all the time and would buy me armfuls of books as they were so reasonably priced here. Now 21 and without my mother, I came here as a university student and still feel the same adoration for this place. Its cosy not crammed, the staff are helpful and the whole vibe here is relaxed and welcoming. Many books are £2 and £3 and there is a decent variety considering the shops small size. Always will love this little shop.

This is a great little bookshop absolutely packed with a wide range of subjects. It is particularly well stocked on biographies, children's books and books on literature but I have found some great items on the arts, business and cook books. Well worth a visit. Easily accessible on public transport but there is also local car parking available although it is very expensive!

I always always always buy books here for my little boy. They always always always have a great selection for kids aged 0 and up. As long as I have kids, as long as this shop exists, as long as I am alive, I will always return to this amazing and reasonably priced shop. And oh... The books for adults are also amazing. Support local!

had a shocking customer experience there today. bought a musical book for my daughter. unwrapped it right away for my toddler to look at. the batteries were dead. the sales assistant (was not the manager) didn't even agree to give me a discount on another book.

A great little find in the heart of Greenwich, and close to the railway station. The shop may be a bit small but it is well stocked and the books are very well priced. Friendly staff who are always very helpful make the experience even more enjoyable.

If you want rudeness. If you want to be tutted at by not replacing a book exactly where you picked it up from. If you want to pay as much as every other book shops. Then do go here. I do not recommend this shop.

Very unhelpful. Ask if they could exchange money from the till (needed 20p coins in exchange for my £1 coins)~told they do not do that! What store doesn’t do that. Rubbish service

Regular market has many items, new and vintage, gifts etc. Lots of options for food and drink. GBT always worth a visit for discounted books fiction/non fiction.

Bright airy shop, good selection of stock, excellent prices and friendly staff. One particular book in the window caught my eye and I came out with two more!

Stumbled across this little gem on a day out with my family and picked up the cutest copy of Emma, beautiful edition. Topped off a lovely day!
