"Its very odd feeling to write a review about cemetery"
"I was walking by and noticed the Elks Mausoleum and was so impressed I decided to go in and check it out, and I was NOT disappointed! I don't know why this place doesn't get more attention, but I was pretty happy about that because it meant fewer people and no tour crowds"
"It's a cemetery, so"
"I FOUND THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT AT GREENWOOD TO BE VERY WELCOMING,COURTEOUS,AND PROFESSIONAL"
This beautiful cemetery had been here since 1852, and has hundreds of impressive looking statues, crypts, and historic tombs. They offer services to help commemorate the life of a loved one, as well as assistance with genealogy of those who have been laid to rest here. Many noted public officials have been buried here. The grounds are clean and very well maintained. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.
Its very odd feeling to write a review about cemetery. One of my good friend is a big fan of vampire movies and TV shows, So we went to this cemetery to see various kind of sculptures, art. He thanked me a lot for taking him there, I thought may be only vampire fans can only understand that great sense of whatever he has.

I don't know why this place doesn't get more attention, but I was pretty happy about that because it meant fewer people and no tour crowds. It's really quite impressive.
It's a cemetery, so...pretty quiet. I went there because I was doing my genealogy and found on line the location of my great grandmother, and a couple of great aunt's graves. Using the download able map, I found them easily. Well kept. Interesting statues from the 1800's.
I FOUND THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT AT GREENWOOD TO BE VERY WELCOMING,COURTEOUS,AND PROFESSIONAL. THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR( SYLVIA MANTIA ) EMPATHETIC PERSONALITY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL MAKES AN OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TASK, BEARABLE. THANKS TO ALL! NORBERT&SANDRA
This beautifully photogenic Cemetery sits at the end of Canal Street near Delgado which makes it ideal for photographers who like to find the beauty in the darker aspects of life. Be respectful of those laid here, but don't be afraid to feel inspired.
The cemeteries in New Orleans have a certain energy about them. Most of them are locked up and you have to pay for a tour but we found one that was unlocked and I’m not sure if I picked the correct name of the cemetery but walking around
It’s a lovely place.I can appreciate a cemetery as we often hang out in them our regular life to visit our relatives. There is so much history everywhere and it was cool to learn a thing or two along the way. No
What can you say about a cementry? Well this one is amazing. It is something for everyone whether you want some horror, history or just walk a little bit you are right.
Beautiful cemetery, with green spaces which makes it less hot than other cemeteries around N.O. Also less touristy, which makes it even more refreshing.
Surrounded by construction - navigate to Metarie and Canal or The Fireman's Charitable and Benevolent Foundation for entrance (16 Nov 2017)
One of the nicer cemeteries to visit in a city that has no shortage of them to go around. The green deer is a neat signature monument.
Un indret famós pel cinema i per la particular relació vida-mort que té la cultura i la societat en aquesta ciutat.
A very peaceful place with history. It’s a great place to walk, learn, and pay respect to those who lay there.
This is a huge cemetery with many large monument burial vaults. The grounds are beautiful and well kept.
Well maintained, peaceful resting place that has traditional New Orleans style above ground tombs.
A spacious cemetery where you can learn about history and converse with knowledgeable staff.
Nice place. For obvious reasons, it's not one I'd like to visit often..
