X-rays are $45ea so if you don't need them it'll be significantly cheaper. Staff: friendly, professional and accommodating. My dentist (Dr. Nelson Ung) was welcoming and answered all my questions. I have absolute confidence in him and he has my recommendation. He also told me what we were going to do and how much it will cost before we began. Equipment: this place looks great since the reno (maybe a few years ago now). All the latest tech and gear. I loved how they were able to take photos of my problem teeth and immediately show them on a screen in front of me. It gave me greater awareness of my teeth and where I should focus my cleaning. Grey st Dentist were great for me and I'm confident they'll be good for you too.

It's just the time of the year that i have to have my dental cleaned; and i googled dentist place near my areas and found grey street dentist. So I decided to give it a try. Absolutely stunning, clean and mordern facility would be the first impression. If you ever visit this place, just ask staff where you can park and they will be able to assist you. If i could given a 6 star review, I would probably do it. Dr. Debbie was so thorough, patient and caring. She provided an amazing service and been very gentle as well as helping to distract me from the pain. All the staff including receptionist and nurse are amazing. I could never imagine going to the dentist could be less stressful than this. I guess i would be the most annoying patient ever because i have no pain tolerance at all. I went there today after a very VERY long time (15 years) of holding off and I had the best experience. I'm not great with Dentists after having a really bad experience with one however, at Grey Street Dentist, Dr Josephine was amazing. She was very gentle and professional during the deep clean and she stopped a few times to give you a few seconds break which I have to admit, was definitely needed. My advice, take a few breaks even if a few seconds, it allows your mind to settle and take a few deep breaths before continuing. My teeth look incredible and she did an amazing job on them. The other 5 star reviews are spot on. Numbing cream is amazing and yeah if you are scared of the pain, DON'T BE!, its really not that bad and I was so numbed up, I only felt the tool rubbing on the teeth, that's it. BEST dentist in Australia, I swear. Loved it so much that I am leaving my first review ever. I come from Seoul, which means that my standard for dentist is pretty damn high (along with the hairdresser & Korean restaurant…). I’ve had a hard time finding a dentist that I could gladly call my own until I went to this one. I can 100% trust Dr.Hyun with my high-maintenance teeth. All the nurses are so wonderful, too. They were super kind & helpful with all the complicated documents I needed for insurance, etc. Honestly, the whole experience was simply pleasant and hassle-free. I did have to wait a while to get an appointment, so suggest you don’t wait till it’s urgent and book in advance. All in all, HIGHLY x100 recommend this one if you care about your teeth and want to do your future-self a favour.

I've been hopping around different dentists for a while now, but I can confidently say that I'm happy to have found my forever dentist! Dr Josephine was very friendly and professional. From the get go - she took the time to educate me on dental health and listened to all my concerns. She was extremely thorough in her examinations, taking the time to talk me through the procedures and explaining the results in an easily digestible manner. She also made sure to check in with me throughout the examination to ensure I was comfortable, which was so greatly appreciated. Dr Shaun is an absolute star! - I can’t recommend him more highly! - Not having had a regular dentist for a few years - I asked medibank for their members list and the Grey Street Dentist in st kilda was one of them. (This means most services are free or a large % is covered) - Since changing to the Grey St Dentist’s - Dr Shaun has complete a couple of cleaning sessions and sorted out two major problems I had. I’ve now got 2 amazing crowns. The technology they are using is incredible- 3D scans and printing etc , there was no pain, and he keeps you in informed as the process progress’s. I’ve told lots of my friends- cause when you find a great dentist - you can bet everyone else wants to know.

I had my first appointment here yesterday and honestly wished I had started coming here years ago. It's a super clean, modern clinic and the dentist I saw (called Dr Qing), was so kind and patient and thoroughly explained everything he was doing and why. I am 37 weeks pregnant and he regularly checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and gave me regular breaks to swallow and rest my jaw etc without me asking. He made me feel really relaxed. They used modern techniques like close -up high res photos of my teeth at no extra cost as part of the check up, which my previous dentist never did. I'll definitely go back and I'm planning on asking to see this particular dentist again.

I am very grateful to Dr Debbie and all the staff for the fantastic work they have done for me. My previous experiences with dentists have been very uncomfortable and unpleasant, at Grey Street Dentist I found Dr Debbie to be very reassuring, informative, professional and understanding. I was recommended this place and after my first experience, I can’t see myself ever going to another dentist. Dr Hyun Soo Yu was super-friendly and informative about my dental health and went well beyond the service by giving more insight with a follow up email and a voice message about my dental health and tips on how to improve it (brushing techniques, flossing). All the assistants were helpful and welcoming plus I couldn’t help it note the gentle relaxing music they play in the background while they get to work on your teeth, which was a nice touch! Really friendly and professional place which I’d recommend especially even for those who dread going to the dentist.

Grey street dentists new premises are clean modern and offers all the latest technology in dentistry Reception staff are lovely polite efficient and make you very relaxed and welcome I see Dr Nelson .. he is very gentle efficient and skill full . He explains everything very clearly giving you all the information you need to make decisions and after dental work how to maintain and care for your teeth . The follow up phone call from the receptionist in the following day shows how they care and value their patients . I used to hate going to the dentist now it’s not such a worry for me . I have had a long history with anxiety around dental appointments and everything that comes with even a simple clean. As this fear developed I would never go to the same dentist twice and would go years apart. What I can say is that I didn't feel my usual high anxiety at this dental clinic whatsoever. Such a pleasant and welcoming experience and I highly recommend it. It was my first time at the clinic and I had Dr. Qing as my doctor. He treated me with utmost professionalism and care. You genuinely feel they want to take care of your dental health and Dr. Qing went an extra mile to ensure all my dental concerns were answered, provided good suggestions and conveyed about any and all potential problems very patiently. From the moment I entered the Dental surgery I was welcomed and felt at ease. The receptionist Chi, was lovely and caring. Then I met Nelson, the dentist, and he explained everything he was going to do and asked me about my history. He was wonderful and Lizbeth his assistant treated me like a person instead of a cadaver. Grey street dentist is a wonderful practice. I have had such a positive experience with Dr Shaun. When walking into the clinic you always receive a friendly greeting from the kind receptionists (chi) and the whole grey street team. I first visited this practice in June 2021 after having a bad experience at another dental clinic and I’m so glad my sister recommended that I see dr Shaun. Currently, my whole family has transferred to grey street dentist to see dr Shaun - he is always incredibly thorough with his examinations and shows a lot of care. I saw Dr Ung and he is one of the best and friendliest dentists I have seen to date. I went in as a new emergency patient (got booked in first thing the next day) with a bad toothache which ended up me having my wisdom tooth out in that appointment (also he happily discussed other options). He explained everything thoroughly, answered any questions I had and always made sure I was doing okay throughout the procedure as it ended up being a tricky one. He even got the receptionist to call and check up on me the next day, which has never happened when attending the dentist. Excellent experience.

WOW! I was amazed by the amazing service I received yesterday. The Staff are so polite and caring and very well informed with amazing costumer service skills. I had a good experience with Josephine with cleaning.. she seemed vey professional and very nice. They mocked up my treatment plan and the said that I have 8 fillings.. I got my ex ray sent to my other dentist and I’ve only actually have 4. Then they said for me to get a 3rd dentist confirming what they said. I went to 818 dr Saville.. and he said I have 4 cavities and one tooth chipped. I A rotten thing to try and and up sell. I’ve had heart surgery and 2 strokes.. haven’t been at work for 8 months. To try rip me off is unbelievable!!

Not a huge fan of going to dentist and this is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr Shaun was excellent - he talked me through every step of the procedure, he listened and was able to address most of my concerns. The staff at the reception are amazing as well! Not only did they manage to find me an appointment on short notice, they also worked through the costs of the procedures for me so I had an overview of the costs I would be paying (no nasty surprises) Overall I had a great experience and that is why I am going back :)

I'm really happy with the service I receive at Grey Street dentists. I find the dentists, dental nurses and assistants professional and friendly. Many of us carry memories of painful experience to our visits to the dentist and I think it's important that we be received with both human warmth and professional skill. I have found both here. The technology they use is state of the art and I feel that my dental care is in safe hands. Especially as I age and my teeth are not as robust as they once were, this is important to me.

I found this place on my insurance company website and decided to give it a try after reading most reviews on GoogleMaps. I'm glad I did. The clinic is well lit and clean and the staff are welcoming and caring. Dr. Debbie is lovely, so is Emily who assisted throughout my first session. I had a thorough check up and a clean up, and Dr. Debbie made a step-by-step plan to fix the multiple problems in my teeth. She also gave me some great advice for looking after my teeth's general health. I'm very happy with my first visit!

Grey St Dental had been very helpful understanding snd accomodating when I have needed Immediate Appointments with a dentist. They have always booked me in either on the day or the next day when I've been desperate for an appointment due to my own teeth and gum issues I've come across along the way. Both Reception Girls and Dentists at the clinic have been amazing overall. Showing professionalism, Care and doing their best to make me feel back to normal making sure I am catered for with my teeth and gum issues.

I went for a simple filling and I ended up with a masive pain that got worse and worse every day, instead! Most of the staff are quite newbies and they don't know what they are doing. They didn't know what problem I had at all and they just say, see you in 2 weeks and keep taking pain killer for all the time. What? They did a very bad job doing the filling and I was allergic to the cream they recommend. Now, I am $600 down the track and still huge toothache. If you Want a healthy smile, stay away from there.

I've been a patient for 8 months and had 3 or 4 visits to this dental practice. The service was always outstanding, from both the receptionists and dentists. On my last visit, I was surprised to receive an email with a recap of my visit, snapshots of my mouth where my problem was I even a quick audio note from the dentist himself reminding me of the treatment. I'm 31 years old as I write this review and I had seen 5 different dentists, none of which I would recommend to my worst enemy, until I went to the Grey St Dentist practice. There I met Debbie (Dr Deborah) and the staff. I can't praise enough the level of organisation and patient care/following/communication, the professionalism and how amazing my experience there has been. A clean sanitary environment and amazing equipment combine to make this a necessary recommendation.

I don't want to leave a good review because I don't want everyone booking here, but to be honest, this is the best dentist I have ever been to, and i have been to a lot! I have this feeling that this should be the standard of any industry, as a perfectionist person, this place is a solid 10, like every single person in Melbourne should be going to this dentist. It did hurt my wallet, but i think dentist overall is very expensive in Australia, Not sure why.

I started seeing Dr Hyun a year ago, had 4 teeth removed (they were seamless, quick and no pain!), fillings and since then regular clean/check up. He makes you feel comfortable, so thorough and always provides constructive feedback. My teeth are at their best now! Also shout out to the rest of the team; from the front desk to dental assistant, they provide top notch service.

Possibly the best dentists I've ever encounter, perhaps the best clinic as well. They are very professional, friendly and have high quality service. Dr Debbie's work is very good and nice. Facility is very clean as well. Can't find anything to complain. Just be mindful of the nearby Grey Street, it has a bit of traffic jam especially around 5pm. Nearby residential area has a lot of parking space though.

Dr Hyun Soo Yu was my dentist and I highly recommend him to everyone. All of the staff are very friendly and compassionate. The surgery is brand new and absolutely spotless. I always leave feeling great. Very reasonably priced too.

Nice clean dentist. Very friendly staff. I don't usually like to feel a little bit pushed to leave a review but I do understand why is important for businesses. I have found all the info during my full check and clean very useful. I'll be coming back. Full check + clean + 2 radiographies + heaps of photos were $300 approx. It's not cheap, but I think it's worth it.

Ummm hold up! I hate the experience of going to the dentist but at Grey St Dentist I can't wait to go back!!! Dr Hyun Soo is so professional, friendly and has such a great approach to dental hygiene. The receptionists are so helpful and lovely. Honestly I am excited to get my teeth extracted. If you're looking for a friendly and caring dentist, look no further.

Got recommended to come here by a friend to see Dr Shaun. Normally I hate dentists, but after seeing Dr Shaun, I can say with certainty that I will definitely be returning here to see him for the rest of my life. I am a nervous dental patient and as this was my first visit to Grey street dentist because of a cavity. I was greeted at reception by very pleasant ladies. Dr Yu was careful dentist and made me feel relaxed during treatment. I thanked him and the team for their kindness and professionalism. I will bring my wife and kids if they need to meet dentists.

10/10 experience today. My dentist was dr Josephine. She was very informative, explained all of my oral issues to me in a way I could understand, and gave me a detailed treatment plan for my oral health. The clinic was very cozy and modern. The receptions was also lovely and very informative, I would recommend this clinic to my friends and family :)

I’m so glad I finally found a dentist I like and trust. Dr Hyun Soo And the Grey Street Dentist team are fabulous and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. They have state of the art technology and provide information after each appointment so you have a record of what has been discussed and photos of your teeth. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The staff is competent (which you want for dentistry obviously), friendly and caring (which makes the experience far more pleasant than anyone can fear). I have been there for two years now and it's a better care and service than the previous dentist I was going to (subjective as it is as relative to my own experience). My teeth say thanks!

Super super friendly staff that made me feel really comfortable compared to other dentistry experiences I’ve had. Didn’t make me feel bad about anything at all and were really good at explaining everything, showing me how to better look after my teeth and demonstrated using lots of photos to make sure I understood!! 10/10 recommend!!

Highly recommend the Grey St dental team and Dr Qing Hui Fang. Dr Qing was very friendly, positive and non-judgemental, as well as being very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I am readily recommending this dental practice- from the front desk to waiting room to dental examination. I have had a crown filling and cleaning and I usually see Dr. Shaun who is fantastic. This is a modern practice which is clean, comfortable and first class.
