I purchased tickets on the Greyhound Bus Line website which were supposed take me from Portland, Oregon to Cheyenne, Wyoming on August 25-26, 2022. I never got to use the tickets or get on a bus and Greyhound refused to reimburse me. Having never used the bus line, I discovered that there is only a vague location in north Portland to find one's bus. No signs, no instructions, no help at all. I managed to find a group of people who were trying to understand how to find their bus. There was no office, no kiosk, no human beings who worked for this company. After a long wait, someone who did not look or act official, but apparently worked for them, said that our bus was coming. The first bus that came was rerouted for a different destination and we were told to wait. The second bus that came had a broken air conditioner, so we were told to wait. Two hours after departure time, a third bus came, but there was no information and we were just told to wait. It was extremely hot and there was no cover or place to sit, not even trees to find shade. The customers were getting very annoyed, some even arguing with each other, because of the confusion and heat. A security man came over and stood around. I realized that I had already missed all of my connecting buses to get to Cheyenne, so I gave up and found another more expensive way to travel. The customers who stayed to wait (at least two told me that this was their second day of trying to get a bus) did not have other options, probably because of money. I felt very sorry for them since they had to stay and endure the bad “service” and humiliation by Greyhound Bus Lines. I do not recommend this company at all and only gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero.

If there was a negative option I would chose it!!!!! Please believe the poor reviews, travel by bus is horrible and the customer service is worse. My daughter traveled (or attempted, I should say) from Olympia WA to Palmdale CA. She was told she would have a 5 minute stop in Salem OR, so she got out to use the restroom. The bus left after 3 minutes!!! With ALL of her stuff left on the bus (ID, wallet, suitcase, etc.). I called the station attendant and the 3 minute time was confirmed because the bus was "running behind schedule". I was also told that "we don't babysit". She was told that she could purchase a new ticket for tomorrow, that her stuff would be held in Springfield OR for her to pick up tomorrow. But that she would need her ID to purchase the new ticket and her wallet to pay for the ticket!!! Customer service was NO help! They gave me a number for a manager that rang and rang with no answer and no option to leave a message. My daughter ended up paying $125 to take an Uber to take her to her stuff, so she could pay for a hotel so she can take a bus to CA tomorrow! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! GREYHOUND IS HORRIBLE!!! AND AIRFARE WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH CHEAPER

The staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing. My dad was waiting to pick me up, as I was coming to visit from out of town. They couldn't tell him if my bus was even coming, let alone when. One of the floor workers told the lady behind the counter the northbound bus was loading at gate 9 and over the loud speaker the lady announced it was boarding gate 11. The bathrooms are disgusting and the staff is really rude. I have had my ticket for over two weeks to come to town. When the bus arrived to pick me the driver let me know that there wasn't room under the bus for my luggage so I had to carry it on. My suitcase is pretty big and heavy, especially because the bus was full and I had to drag my bag all the way to the back of the bus, and he yelled at me telling me to sit down because he was in a hurry... I'm sorry, I know the bus was late. I had been waiting at the station for over two hours. Also it was raining when we got into multnomah county and I got soaked because the emergency exit above me was leaking! WORST EXPERIENCE WITH GREYHOUND EVER! And the wifi on my bus didn't work.

Worst customer service ever! 1) I paid for my tickets online, checked in for my outgoing trip, and headed to the station early, just to find out that the route had been canceled due to fires well south of my destination. I went across the street to Amtrak and was able to get on a train within 20 minutes 2) was issued a refund, even signed for it and kept the receipts. Was not told of any processing delay by the agent. After checking my account, I realized that the money had not been returned. Called greyhound "customer service" to see what was going on. Was told to check and see if my card issuer was holding the funds. Called the card company and they had no reversals from greyhound in their system. Called Greyhound back. Got someone to tell me that there is a processing delay of up to 10 business days. I'm pissed and will NEVER do business with greyhound again. I will also inform all family and friends that Amtrak is worth the extra money. Incompetent at every level. There are many superior travel options available.

I've had more problems with Greyhound this year than I can count. Buses cancelled or breaking down, and you have to figure out how to get customer service with no help from drivers if this happens. But they have worked to get me on the next bus, although for all the Uber fare I've paid taking me to the bus, then home only to have to return the next day because the bus was cancelled I could have paid for a round trip ticket. Especially since I take the bus about 6 times a year. I've never been offered a voucher or even accommodations when the bus isn't going to be leaving again until the next day and I'm stuck in a strange town for 12 hours. I've stayed overnight in gas stations and even outside in a blizzard for 10 hours, and when I ask the drivers or workers at the stops what I should do all I seem to get is "I don't know" or "figure it out". It's definitely worth paying an extra 30$ to take Amtrak.

This is just a Greyhound bus stop and pick up. There is no station so don't be misled by the pictures. To purchase a bus ticket you must go online at least a day before your travel date. Credit card accepted online. Cash payments are available after you book a ticket online then choose option pay cash. You will be offered a number of places in your area that are associated with greyhound. Your receipt will be your ticket. There is a sign on a green fence alongside the road indicating Greyhound bus stop. There is no station. The address is correct but there is nothing there, just a sidewalk and a sign that is very easily missed. Also, word of advice, check you itinerary, travel schedule, carefully because there may be long waits in between your travel, layovers. Sometimes you're better off just traveling a few extra miles or so to the next stop to avoid being stuck out in the cold and rain. God bless.

What the heck Portland you should be ashamed not having a decent greyhound station at bare minimum area! You are a city not a rural area and now that you allow the homeless to just camp anywhere the unsafe feeling I had having to stand on a corner near under a bridge with my kids. There's no shelter and your epic for rain. No sitting besides the few benches at the parking lot across the street. And the audacity you have the amtrack station located right there but your being so careless and cheap as if travelers aren't important. I'm native to Portland I didnt even know the station got closed and for what exactly. But it makes no sense as if you can't afford a decent area yoy need to open back up the station for travelers. At bare minimum around 9am two workers showed up out of no where..... to atleast guide us lost souls clueless what to do they were nice

10/29/23 it is NOW WORSE IF POSSIBLE! Nasty fence. Smells like a 1976 barroom mens' bathroom urinal: nasty chewing gum on fence ,sidewalk, everywhere; it puts the gum wall in Seattles' Post Alley to shame . . . cigarettes and fecal material, gang graffiti. There are enough orange needle caps to string together to decorate a holiday tree. Cattle-like, you line up. You wait for a late bus with rank overflowing toilet. Ugh. Gang tattooed, seriously and violently mentally ill drug addicted homeless begging [while using expensive ipods and blasting ghetto rap on $5k mini boomers wearing brand new Nikes (but not a bath for ten years)]. Under postapocalyptic bridge next to Union Station. You feel like beggars bones standing here. Awful experience. Unpleasant. Unsafe. Uncomfortable. Dangerous neighborhood. The drivers do their job.

  • Zimo Wang

Bus delayed one hour and I was afraid I will miss the bus connection in Seattle for Vancouver. Bus driver said rest assured we will catch up don't worry and we actually MADE it!! The bus was comfortable, arrived all time, friendly bus driver and clean bus. Thank you for the affordable bus fare and I will definitely come back in the future. I highly recommend you to check the live bus status on their official website. If it says delayed, don't come that early to wait in the cold. For those reviews said there's no "station": Yes, there is no station and the buses and other bus company like flixbus all stopped on the curbside, there was no homeless people nor tents around the stop, many passenger were waiting here even at 11pm, so don't worry at all.

  • Mark D

My bus never came. I arrived 45 mins early and stayed until 2 hours after the arrival time. The greyhound employee on hand did not know the status of the bus, corporate did not either, nor did the "Track my bus" app - all of which read, "no data" in regards to GSP location. It wasn't until 5 hours from the time of the trip that Greyhound announced that it was cancelled and offered to rebook people the following morning at what would be the same time. While communicating with people, it was made known that some people who were in line for the bus that was cancelled today, were rescheduled passengers from the same bus the day before since that did not come as well. Do not use greyhound, unless you wanna risk getting stranded.

  • Becca Metzgar

as a young female traveling alone these reviews made me really scared for my safety to go to this bus stop for my after-dark departure. when i got there i realized that it’s literally not that bad idk why all these reviews are so dramatic. yes, it is a curbside, but it’s right next to Union Station and there’s safety from the elements inside there if you absolutely need. it’s not THAT close to the camp site, and it’s pretty moderately safe (as safe as you would be anywhere in portland). if you watch your bus on the greyhound online tracker you can make sure that you’re not waiting outside for very long. it’s all around a “mid” experience i wouldn’t dwell on it that much.

  • Michelle M

Simply awful! First time using Greyhound. I thought I would save money instead taking of the train. HUGE mistake. 1.) The “station” is a sidewalk, with no shade or cover. Only seating was the curb. Would not be safe if waiting/arriving at night as it is not in the best part of town. No staff onsite. 2.) After one text from Greyhound about “a slight delay” 30 mins after it was supposed to arrive, no updates beyond that and useless customer service, it was ultimately canceled after 2 hours due to “mechanical issues”. Don’t bother unless you love sunburn, concrete seating and not getting to your destination. Otherwise, just take the train.

  • Darvina Saucier

Greyhound is the WORST!! NEVER AGAIN will I take Greyhound bus drivers had the worst attitudes, rude, one bus driver locked the passengers on the bus while she took a bathroom break after hours she was cussing the passengers because we asked, why would she lock us on the bus?! We were LIVID that was unacceptable!! They didnt help at all, got mad when we asked them questions about our route!!!! IT WAS INSANE!! No help with baggages! Disabled people! If I could give no stars it is NO STARS!!!

  • james levesque

I had just been living in Portland and I was back looking for a new place so I was easily able to find the loading area. Now I think there should be a covered area for the loading of the buses..I can also tell you that most of the homeless people in Portland are not bad people. Maybe not the cleanest people but they are going to stay in their tent's and if you look them in the eye when you talk to them like you would anyone else then they respond like people y'all are to judgemental. Go back to what ever Town you from people...

  • Ruth Rebeca Marpaung

Bus Delayed for almost one hour. Homeless are sleeping inside the bus. I booked this bus because I was supposed to take the Flixbus at 3 PM but it departed early at 2.50 PM without any notice. I arrived there just before 3 PM but it was already gone. So, I bought the last bus which is this one, the Greyhound, it is delayed for almost an hour, also without any notice. The drives was nice and all but still, the delayed won't guarantee me getting on the next bus to Vancouver on time. So, yea, I'm not satisfied with all of this

  • Corinna “Cori” Loudon

I love this place, even if it's a little run down. There's a good sense of community here, as the security guards make it a point to get to know all the regulars in the area. And they should receive an award for everything they do for the homeless in the area. Sometimes I feel like they do more than the city does, when it comes to nights when it's pouring rain or near freezing outside. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you've done to help me. I appreciate Greyhound more than I can ever explain.

  • Oshito Moreno

8 always have to go to the curbside pickup and dropoff and it's okay for the most part it's kinda dirty outside and disorganized when getting on the bus. Pay extra to be able to board first and you'll be fine. The buses I've taken to Idaho and back to Portland Oregon to get back to Washington have been pretty decent rides, Except once when it seemed filled with smokers and homeless people that stank terribly bad. I had to sit way in the front to not smell the people so much. It was terrible.

  • Tn Nweilss

Not the Greyhound bus station anymore. It's a shelter for the homeless. Staff were mainly cool and did their jobs well. Had an issue with my paper work getting lost and all the hope of me getting off the streets went with it as I was supposed to be like 7th person on a list to get a motel room for a year payed as an apartment. My worker went on prego leave and when she did they just scrapped me and my paperwork. Still homeless and in a different shelter.. work but still no hope

  • Edger Allan Poe

Physically well maintained station, but highly disorganized. Staff are rude and send you to the wrong gates. No communication or leadership. Bus conditions are not great. My first bus should have been retired years ago, with its stench that won't quit and broken seats. The bus initiating from Portland (empty bus on its way to Denver) was not cleaned: drinks had been spilled (I hope they were bevs, anyway) on several seats. The greyhound only if you have no other options.

  • Caesar Briones

It's the worst experience going to a nice well lit very large station and the restroom is closed or even the drivers are not ready to drive you don't have enough drivers end up in limbo because no one is able to explain what's going on after your game Greyhound I wish the Asian market and European market would come in and bring it down or maybe Amazon will take over and run the business better on-time everybody we need to go somewhere

  • Helen Rimmer

Would give negative stars if I could. This isn't a station, it's a street with no shelters, no washrooms and no access to water. So if it's raining and you have to catch a connection, well hopefully you have an umbrella because there is no where for you to get out of the rain. If your bus is late and you have to get a connection, too bad for you because you won't have time to get any where for water... not impressed.

  • Daniel Massey

Terrible service. Customer representative must be in Pakistan. Bus station in Portland is closed and the representative couldn't tell me where to catch the bus. I know Covid is causing problems but the good companies adjust while still continuing great customer service. Sadly, Greyhound isn't one of those companies. Also, snotty clerk at the kiosk charged me 20 dollars to reschedule a 23 dollar ticket!!! Ridiculous.

  • Atkins Angco

I can't even begin to describe this bus station. From the second I stepped outside, literally everyone was trying to bum a cig, or ask for money, or sell me drugs. The cops hanging around were either completely blind or complete idiots. Broken bottles, trash, people being assaulted, cops harassing the homeless, it's basically smack dab in the middle of the ghetto. If you don't feel comfortable with that, fly.

  • yettimouse

Portland's worst iconic building this rundown building with it's outdated exterior and neglected interior is home to a growing group of migratory preditory street people. If you are looking for a place that embodys a post appocoliptic feel this is the place to hang out in Oregon. Restrooms are filthy, food court is uninviting and do not step out of the building at night ( or during the day for that matter)

  • Place Hunter

My travel was a nightmare. I traveled from portland to Salt Lake City The bus smelled horrible because the poop container was full, the operator Didn't made anything. The only thing the passengers agreed was not to open the restroom door. The driver also said that it was not allowed to spread perfum or deodorant, the truth is that we all did it. It was a shame that I received the worst bus service in USA.

  • Bill Ball

I miss my connection to a bus from Portland to Seattle because your bus is late arrival to Portland to make the transfer. Then I try in person customer service and they refer me to the 1 800 phone # and I get the run around there. The greyhound app is useless too. So much for being able to get a refund or being able to reschedule a missed bus. Now I'm stuck in Portland! This is why I never use Greyhound!

  • JMatym Gatyon

CoVid restrictions...they closed main building. You moving?Chance of trouble with finding what location to go if they don't tell you where to go if you go to a curbside...Drivers do have a schedule...they push you if your bags aren't properly checked in...where's the building to check it in?If you go down the street and you see a sign for all the way down towards the end of the street.Good travels!

  • Tony McGuiness

Very hard to understand where to park and how to manuevere through the Amtrak station and upstairs to the greyhound port. Had to circle the block several times to figure out out with the one way street not allowing a simple way to get back and attempt it again. Not a great experience but we were late for my bus and out was still there. Not sure if not leaving on time was helpful to anyone but me.

  • Tomas Larzsohn

I had an unscheduled transfer in Portland. I asked which gate to go. Upon waiting, no bus came. I heard on a loud speaker the station was soon to close. I went to the information desk and asked if my bus was late. I was told it had left. The gate was a different one than I was told. I received the wrong information. Now I'm homeless in Portland until 7:30 when the next one comes.

  • Jeremy Kaer

It was awful I couldn't find the place and when I did everything was borded up or behind a fence there was no where to buy a ticket and the only place to wait for The bus there'were homeless drug addicts selling and doing drugs right there on the street they were actually living in tents right there on the sides walk I was concerned about my safety and the safety of my children

  • Logan Christensen

The address to board our bus was incorrect and the customer service rep was rude. I was told by the representative that the address has been wrong for the past 4 months. My pregnant wife and I traveled here from Utah and had plans to go to Seaside for the day. But we had to pay an $130 for an Uber ride to get out here. Now I'm out $150 and I haven't even started my day yet.

  • Olivier Pauley

Railroaded by a single staff member at the Old Greyhound Shelter as a guest there lodged in the shelter Staff falsely accused me of violating a none structured rule that was never implemented. And ultimately thrown out into the winter elements of corona coronavirus and sub temperatures , of downtown Portland Oregon . Homeless due to coronavirus for almost one year now.

  • Chloe Shenefield

The bus was really late, making everyone miss the next buss everyone was supposed to transfer to. However they did rework their busses to get half of them going to the next place instead of having to find a hotel in the middle of nowhere or wait for five hours. Could have been way better. However the buss itself was comfy and nice and had outlets to keep you charged.

  • Mark R. Smithson

I've never had a problem with Greyhound until they closed the terminal in Portland, Oregon. Now, they pick up and drop off at the curb of a street there...no terminal, no restrooms, not even somewhere to get out of the rain. Also, the ticket counter is several blocks away. No other complaints from me concerning the employees, schedules, prices, or anything else.

  • Kim Horner

What station, my sister was dropped off on the side walk, because the main greyhound station was closed down, wirh a fence around it, and know one was told, not even on line, or website, New Years Eve, down town Portland, late at night, In the dark, no bathrooms, no help anywhere, pouring rain, Should be fined, and no stars, hope you have a ride

  • Brenda Kimble (Bander)

Greyhound bus curb! No bus station. Amiss all the Portland charm. The tents a few feet away, make shift shelters, and to top it off the mounds of garbage everywhere. Not my top choice for travel accommodations EVER! But the two guys helping everyone were very nice and helpful! That is why I gave 2 stars, the nice guys working the Greyhound curb!

  • Davos777

A fast option if you want to catch a bus locally or long distance.A small cafe bathrooms and vending machines available.Be careful late at night as there is a large homeless population nearby, and lots of people sleeping on the street. Also metro bus and rail services nearby as long as amtrak and max service connecting too PDX airport.

  • Charlette Noble

Greyhound as a whole is awful! Been trying all day to get my ticket switched from saturday to monday! They wont let me do mine and not my husbands. They say its one ticket but i paid for 2 seperate tickets on one card. So then we rearange our plans so he will just leave with me and greyhound wants to charge me $40 to change them!

  • Hector Espino

This transport is very bad , my parent's was traveling from San Diego California to Dallas Texas and they take to Springfield misuri, then came back to Oklahoma city I am asking myself why they was taken this people for long way? They take 4 days traveling it's a bad experience what they are having traveling wiht this company!.

  • Park Kaito

Worst experience here I have ever had. I spent nearly two days waiting for my bus and being reissued tickets. Brother was in icu and died. No apologies nothing. They were also very rude, and not very communicative about anything. Also the drug addicts and homeless people that hang out inside and outside are very persistent.

  • Archturiat Baumann

Greyhound has so misrepresented what was here. It isn't a "partner station". There's not even a sheltered bench or permanent signage. It's just a sandwich board. Also if they are thinking their partner is Amtrak they need to tell Amtrak. A security guard at the nearby Amtrak station refused me entry to use the restroom.

  • Ben Citalán

I didn't want to say this but after waiting for 3 hours, the bus never showed up, I haven't make a trip in years and just when I decided to travel I find out my bus gets canceled. I'm so disappointed, I lost days of work to travel 30 hours away from home, now I won't get to enjoy my trip, I'm so bummed out.

  • Cipriana Ramirez

I've been coming back and forth from Washington to Salem Oregon never had a bad experience but today the bus driver Demetrie hevy wait black guy was so mean and un professional about his job I tried call the greyhound and nothing's been done I recommend you go try to rent a car instead or take the Amtrak....

  • Jon P

It's a great place to catch a Greyhound bus that's for sure! However, every time I've been there's been a significant number of homeless people out front which can be uncomfortable and possibly even intimidating. I know this isn't Greyhound's fault it's just something to be aware of for you on your travels.

  • Ana Cabrera

This has to be the scariest place ever...I went to drop my mom off in the morning and it was crowded with garbage, homeless, junkies and piss. I honestly thought the station was closed due to the garbage outside, I even saw some needles and vials outside...honest to GOD it is some scary and dangerous place.

  • Raina Gangursky

ALWAYS ALWAYS late. We woke up VERY early just to wait a few hours for the bus and driver. Smells horrid always. They are running late so they don’t have time to empty the toilets. Stinks up the whole bus, worst smell you will ever smell. It a health hazard. Make them run out of business.

  • Kaya Polizzi

Its closed now! September 1st they closed! The greyhound bus picks up and drops off across the street now at the Amtrak clock tower. - if you want tickets we have a new ticket office across the street on 6th and glisan - just go south down 1 block on 6th street from the greyhound station

  • Simon Lofts

WORST bus service in the WORLD! USE AT YOUR OWN PERIL. My son had to wait 5 hours for a 2 hour bus trip to Eugene. Barely any communication from the attendant. Drivers don't show up or show up when they like. Waiting area is a safety hazard that feels very insecure. NEVER AGAIN.

  • Brett Costley

Don't use Greyhound. They put my daughter on the wrong bus requiring me to drive 760 miles to pick her up and take her to the right place. You cannot talk to anyone in customer service. I could only contact them through Facebook and they didn't care and refused to give a refund.

  • Lisa Daugherty

The fact that I had to stand out in the rain for 30 minutes to wait for my next bus is BS. I don't understand why the bus station has to be closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic but yet people can be packed in like sardines on the Greyhound bus. It's just DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE.

  • Brian H

Sitting on a bus, it’s an hour late, there’s no driver, and no explanation of what’s going on or how much longer we’re going to be waiting. I can’t even figure out how to open the door to get off. Stuck on a bus in the parking lot. 0 stars. Try Bolt Bus or the train.

  • Tamie Jensen

Terrible experience! We were left in Portland fully loaded without a driver. Passengers had to call greyhound to get a driver to come out. We left Portland over an hour late. That was after us sitting on the bus for an hour and half unattended. Craziest experience

  • Ben Rippel

The bus stop has moved to Station Way just north of the Amtrak Depot / Portland Union Station building. It does not have a customer service office. You must instead visit 427 NW 6th Ave if you need tickets or assistance. Boarding is done at 7411 NW Station Way.

  • Susan Danner

I have never taken Greyhound. I work across from where the bus picks you up from. Greyhound has no bus station. You get picked up and dropped off on a sidewalk. The little office they have is only open for short hours. Please dress according to weather.

  • myron Curl

Well i like it because it gets me home to tillamook but i dont like the guys out side hanging out for what ever it is it wasnt like that way back when if you could get rid of all that bring it back like before you would have more people taking the bus .

  • Lycaous Stormwolf

I'm sorry the company had to downsize this station, but the dark side of the street of a sidestreet that smells of urine and depression was not the place. I'm no longer comfortable with booking a ticket, knowing where I will be sent to catch my ride.

  • Daryl Jean Porter (Nana DJ)

Not a bus stop but just standing on the sidewalk next to a orange fire hydrant waiting with several other people. It did not even say Greyhound anywhere we just knew it because of our GPS map the driver was half hour late and we were all freezing

  • Rich Cowden

The pictures on here are incorrect. The Greyhound bus picks up and drops off at Station Way around the corner from Union Station. There is no building there. It just picks up and drops passengers off at the sidewalk on the side of the road now.

  • kathleen velner

Dirty, somewhat scary place for a person traveling alone. Only 1 security guard on duty. That's not enough to stop a group of homeless vagrants which are very prevalent outside the doors to the bus station. I don't go there at night by myself.

  • eursla wolfe

I waited 3 hours in cold wet rain no shelter. There no benchs to sit on. There was a malfunction with batteries. So thankfully the bus attendance people updated us an brought us hot sandwiches. So that is why 1 star otherwise I would- a star

  • Teri Clark

Was taken off bus because it was 3 hours late in Springfield Or. By a lady named JoJo. She put me up in the Best Western and paid for taxi to and from. And got me back on the road again. JoJo is the best lady grayhound has working for them.

  • James Salomon

The address sent the person I was giving a ride, To a sidewalk near the Amtrak station, there is a small 3' by 2' sign on the ground. That States it is about greyhound has information has to wear the bus goes too. A lot of confusion …

  • Erik Hoofnagle

This is the sketchiest bus stop I’ve ever seen. The only person working here won’t answer questions and just angrily paces around. I know greyhound and BOLT bus are cheap but this is as though they are trying to make this a bad experience.

  • ruth hutch

What a nightmare was no indoor facilities to wait for a three and a half hour layover in Portland Oregon (awful part of town) no time to stop for food from Portland to Spokane. it was awful man has Greyhound changed...but I guess profit.

  • Cari Hughes

Well maintained and very helpful staff and drivers. Just know that you need to Check Baggage Weight First-anything over 50 pounds will cost you!! down a few blocks on 6th Ave, before boarding street-side, outside of Union Station.

  • Tammy Schroeder

It wasn't the bus station that was a problem. I got on the second bus in Seattle. Put my luggage underneath. A few stops later a bunch of students got off the bus and I no longer have luggage. huge fail Greyhound. …

  • Joseph Weiland (Jojo)

Damp and cold. No longer does Portland have an actual station but, rather, a pick up and drop off across from a parking garage. Conveniently located just north of the homeless camp that is the old Portland Greyhound station...

  • christopher tapanen

Conviently located in downtown Portland and right next to buses, Max light rail and Amtrak, but that's about it. Amenities inside are sparse and the front entrance is dirty and often populated by transient and homeless people.

  • Wenona Weavill

I guess greyhound Portland is getting a make over, we had to load on the bus in the rain and on the side of the street greyhound has changed a lot. Glad I asked for help got me on the right bus. Here I come Pasco. …

  • Neil Merschbrock

Not a bus station. Only a poorly marked stop on the side of the road two or so blocks away up from the Amtrax station. Homeless camped everywhere. I would never let my daughters use this stop for fear they would be accosted.

  • Lee Smith

Told us that our original bus driver "called off" at the last minute and out nee driver would be here "very shortly". Two hours later and we're all still standing in line. This will be the LAST time I ever travel Greyhound.

Really wish they had a station. It's not marked andvits a curbside pickup. IN PORTLAND!!Like it's not dangerous enough. You gotta wait on an open unmarked sidewalk and weird people are stumbling everywhere. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

  • Roger Brown

Absolutely worthless. Went to buy tickets for my daughter to come up for her birthday but the station in Portland has been shut down and now there is no place to buy a ticket with cash or where a ticket could be picked up.

  • Chris Whitmer

THIS IS PRE PANDEMIC. THERE IS NO STATION. THERE WILL NEVER BE ONE. ITS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. A SIDE STREET UNSAFE STOP IS ALL THATS LEFT. On the side of the road next to the train station. No shelter. Nothing. What a joke.

  • The Rooster

An American company forcing you to talk to foreigners in another country, who are rude and you can barely understand. This is complete bs. You want OUR US dollars, but pay foreigner non-continental USA Emoloyees? Hell NO.

  • Jay Huckins

Its the Greyhound bus station. You can't expect much. There are homeless people and drug addicts galore. But, the staff there on the early morning I was there were gracious and kind, and the bus driver was skilled.

  • Eric Maresh

Since the sold the bus station they moved the stop along the side of a sidewalk of the Amtrak tracks they have no cover or set's to sit down and keep you out in the rain it is standing for hours if the bus is late

  • Ed Bushak

Not an actual bus station. The bus drop off and pick up on the street side about 4 blocks away. Homeless camps between the bus stop and the station. THIS IS NOT THE GREYHOUND STATION. I never went to the "station"

  • Jackie Jackson

There is no 'station'. Was dropped off on the street between homeless encampments. Weather was below 50 degrees the entire time. Left for 3 hours waiting for a late bus in the dark. Security guys were very nice.

  • T Fitz

It's a dump. The bathrooms always smell, their cafe food is barely edible and there aren't any lockers if you want to explore the area. It's closed down right now, and there is a big homeless camp right outside.

  • Anita Wolfe

It sucked there was NO BUS STATION we all had to stand in the rain out on the sidewalk for over a hour and a half because bus was late no where to sit except on the ground worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GG Death

I must say, I was not expecting the cutesy charm that Portland had inherently. It's almost like I was submerged in a Mario Kart video game, but it was real life, and it's right here! Who would have thought?

  • Dana Mitchell

It's terrible they make people wait in the street to get picked up in the street no office for them to go to they have to wait around for hours for if they miss a bus in the streets. They should be ashamed.

  • Adam Hudson

This is no longer a station. The old station was closed sometime in 2019 or 2020 according to the driver we finally found. This is a simple stop, so don't go looking for anything more than a sign.

  • Donna B

The bus started off smooth, but the 10hr trip the bus was never cleaned the bathroom reeked of URINE and FECES which leaked inside the bus. It smelled really as if you could taste it. HORRIBLE!

  • Peter Kuzemchak

I have to give this station 3 stars, through I have never used the services here...this station is in a very shady area. Often times drug dealers and users are seen around this building.

  • Angela Kathyleen Dennis

Buss depot is shut down. There is a ticket office and you must walk 3 blocks north bound and Waite for your arrivals and departure on side walk. It's Oregon bring your umbrella an coats

  • patricia sewell

The bus dumped us off on some side street, not even in view of the actual bus station without any explanation. Homeless tents and sketchy people all around. Great service, Greyhound!

  • Lindsay

Heads up! If you’re taking a NW Navigator bus to the coast, this is NOT the correct address, despite what your ticket says. Call the bus company to confirm the actual pickup spot.

  • Jim Phillips

Good service from cleaning crew again you would think with the pandemic going on they would have social distancing they pack the buses full no room for comfort very uncomfortable

  • Billy B

Stay away from this place if you can. Unless you like being surrounded by the smell of human urine & fecal matter. This is pretty much all of craptown, I mean downtown Portland.

  • Alicia Jane Ryder

It smells like urine everywhere. The hours are terrible, they close for 2 hours in the middle of the day so you can't even go in to buy a ticket. Next time Go By Train or plane.

  • Merky Wataz

My bus from Seattle to Sacramento start off being 1 hour late& the customer service representative keep saying another 10mins hope it's not like this on the way back …

  • Mary Fuller

Closed wile I was on my trip it's on the curb side. 3 bls from where you get your tickets now. The buses do not have a destination on the # on bus not the same as the ticket.

  • Niles Black (BLΛCK)

Never, ever, ever again. Not just this station - Greyhound as a whole. I don't know what the hell happened, but wow. A prison bus would honestly feel a lot more comfortable.

  • Raymond Sindell

Terrible, filthy, crime ridden infestation of drug use and aggressive homeless. Local businesses tried to have them agree to help clean up the situation- Greyhound declined.

  • Hector Williams

Had to pick up a family member... It's literally a bus stop... No building or covered area, being an oregonian I'd suggest you bring out an umbrella ☔... Just saying …

  • Mark Perez

At least 30 of us were left for over 2 hours in the freezing cold while the greyhound workers sat in there car after saying they would find out what time are bus was coming

  • The Phatman

These places have gone down hill real bad. There are no linger areas to sit and wait for your bus at either Portland nor Eugene which means your stuck out in the elements.

  • OG Fingers FB

Sad to see this place closed, have a lot of good memories getting on and off here at this bus station, I would always buy food and check out the gift shop, good old days
