I just had the great displeasure of speaking to the man answering the phone. We used them when my grandmother passed away early last month and had a great experience with the lady (I forgot her name) who helped us but after today's conversation with this awfully rude man who should not be working in this business at all, this place has left a bitter taste. My mother and my aunt were concerned they hadn't received the death certificate yet and I always suspected this process would take a while but to ease them, they asked me to follow up because they're English isn't too great. I call and I start the conversation politely inquiring if he could help me with a question in regard to my grandmother's death certificate and he just started cutting me off and started speaking to me with an attitude. I spoke up that I did not appreciate the attitude, I was only calling to inquire information, there was no need for an attitude. He then proceeds to tell me that he already got a call from "the daughter in NY" which I was not aware of, but that doesn't give you the right to speak to me with an attitude. You're in the customer service business during trying times for families, the last thing they need is to receive attitude from a disgruntled person, work somewhere else if you're so unhappy dealing with the public answering simple questions. I believe this is the same person a previous reviewer complained about also encountering a man with an attitude over the phone which I understand the need to write a review because he was just so unjustifiably rude. I would stay away from this place, take your loved ones elsewhere. I did confirm after that awful conversation with my mother to see if she called which she did but said he was very quick to talk and because her English isn't great she didn't understand what he said, which is why I was asked to call. Oh and by the way I have a recording of this conversation - my husband was recording a video of our son and you can hear this conversation in the background because my phone was on speaker. Even my husband said that his attitude was uncalled for when hearing the conversation, I was nothing but polite to begin with until I had to speak up.

This place had the worst customer service. My mother went to see my uncle two days before the service and the lady at the desk was so rude. For my uncle's service on yesterday the casket was dirty and looking very used. Nobody came in to end the music before the funeral service started and we had to send some out to tell them to cut it off. They left the casket open the from the time the viewing started and it remained open during the whole funeral which was very hard on my family. Which means there was no one who was monitoring the service. The obituary information online had typos and no one proof read it before posting it for everyone to see. The program also had typos that were not caught before printing them. This is a place that deals with people at times when emotions are high so you have to have compassion and understanding. If you don't have these two things then you don't need to be working in this business. I would never recommend anyone one to them. If I could mark no star I would but since I can't I give a one star.

If I could give no stars, I would! Horrible experience. It was like a self-service experience. The program/obituary had typos. No one monitored the services, they left the casket open during the whole service through the viewing and the funeral. The staff of Grines Funeral Home is inept. Please take your deceased loved one somewhere else.

The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. He put my family member in a dirty casket and we could see the bottom of the casket. He left my family member body out too long and had him looking swole and thrown together in the casket. I do not recommend him for your loved ones, he will not treat them right.

I have called the funeral home to ask about services there and the person who I spoke with was extremely rude to me. I do not appreciate being spoke to in that demeanor. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for any kind of needs, these people do not care, and have absolutely no people skills.

Thats so funny I was taken aback by the man on the phone when I Called yesterday for pricing and just from that, they lost my business and I chose a different Funeral Home that was sensitive and friendly to my needs. Their pricing was $800 more than Grimes but I will gladly pay it!
