I have been a customer with Guardsman Insurance for eight years (posting under a pseudonym to avoid the data miners). In all of my dealings (rental, condo, travel, life and vehicle insurance), I have always been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I have always been able to count on Guardsman Insurance to give me the best price they can. My prices have flucuated yearly, but for the most part I am paying as much or less than what I have always paid. For the few times that my prices have increased, I have always been contacted with plenty of notice, both in writing from the Insurance company and by phone from Guardsman. I feel more safe and secure with Guardsman than I ever felt with any of the other insurance companies that I have dealt with over the years. The service is reliable and prompt. In a business where it's their job to make less money off of individuals, I'm more than happy to say that Guardsman Insurance is doing a fine job of doing their best to make less money off of my policies!

The absolute worst office ever. They messed up payment amounts and schedules then when brought to their attention said I was wrong. EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY HAS HAD ISSUES. I've worked through 3 different brokers in the office. The owner, then his son, then a lady. Every single one of them have been brutal to get back to you or just give u the screw around. The latest is they refuse to change a date on the form, keep telling me I have to print it to change it. I don't own a printer. I'm SO THANKFUL my saga with them is almost over. I really hope others read this. It's rare I need to even deal with insurance but for the last 3-4 years it's been stressful to even consider asking them a question.

We requested a vehicle be added to our policy. Months later, we learned they needed more info. At that time we said not to bother, as we weren't using the car anymore. Months after that, we received a policy for the car. ... ? That's just one example of many. We were told that due to all the major communication issues that we had been assigned a new broker, yet we still have to deal with the original, completely incompetent broker. I spoke to her one day, and the very next day she had forgotten the entire conversation and who I was. I was a customer for 10 years!! Nothing but frustration and poor service. There are many better options for insurance in Kingsron.

Guardsman Insurance is a wonderful brokerage to deal with. As a small business, Guardsman took the time to get to know me and ask about my family and my life. They made me feel like they actually cared and was not just another number on a spreadsheet. I dealt with Lori who was consistently on the ball with quick responses and helped to explain terms in layman’s terms so that they were very easy to understand. Guardsman also offered the best rates that I could find and made my experience quite enjoyable. I will be sticking with them for the foreseeable future for all of my insurance needs.

Tom is great to work with. I signed up my truck, house and rental property with barely any work to do myself. Very personable, relaxed, knowledgable person. I highly recommend Guardsman Insurance to friends and family. They have constantly been professional and assisted me in arranging insurance on a number of properties and vehicles. Every time I have had a question they have been happy to break things down so I understand what is going on and they always make sure I am aware of what is going on with my policies, and which policy works best for what I need.

I have been with guardsman for just over 2 years now. I have never had any problems with their service to date. I was given a heads up when my policy was changed which resulted in lowered payments :) Who doesnt love lower payments? My only complaint would be at times it can be hard to get an answer as they dont always call u back. However I do know they try to get you the best price possible. I got a couple of quotes before going with them and they were the best by about 15% Overall they are like any insurance company, they do their best and Im happy.

I dealt directly with Tom, and before that I deal directly with his father. My house burned down some years ago in Enterprise, and Keith gave me some suits. I have never forgotten his kindness. When I moved back to Kingston , I headed directly for guardsman insurance. They handled my car, my house, and soon my cottage. They have always been fair with the pricing and competitive. I don’t know Tom that well, but what I do know is that he is straightforward and honest. That is lacking with other insurance agents.

I reccomend Guardsman Insurance. They have affordable rates and also offer several other types of insurance. Staff are very personable & friendly people and they offer a great discount for military. The only issue I have is the quotes that we where givin by one of the insurance agents was different then when I went in. It had increased by approx $25.00 more than what I was quoted for. But it still deffinitly one of the best rates out there.

The staff at Guardsman Insurance are very knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. Not only have they been able to consistently save me money on my home and auto insurance but they have been very good at keeping me informed about the changes that have been made to my coverage. I would particularly like to thank Judy, she has been great to work with!

Any questions I have are answered promptly and in language I can understand. I feel confident in my insurance policy and love having Guardsman Insurance in my corner should I have a claim. Was with this broker for 2 years. Bounced from one person to another because they did not want to deal with my husband and I. Whenever we needed their assistance we would receive blunt responses or none at all. Most of the time I had to phone our insurance provider directly and handle things myself. Extremely unprofessional.

I have 2 vehicles and my home insurance with Guardsman. The service is GREAT! When I had issues with a claim, my Guardsman agent stepped in to help me. And when the ins company had made an error, Guardsman sent me a refund themselves! Competitive rates, too. Highly recommend.

Every experience I’ve had with Guardsmen over the years has been rude and unprofessional. Myself along with many others I know who were with them have left to move to other more professional and friendly insurance companies. I do not recommend this company.

Awesome brokerage and amazing staff. Very knowledgeable about their products and able to recommend the right package. Been with them for over 5 years now and they were able to save me over 60% on my previous policy through a different brokerage.

I just switch over to Guardsman ins. For my house ins. And am very happy so far, and I saved about $400.00 my plan is switch my car ins. In June if the savings are significant which I expect them to be.So 5 star service and prices

Terrible experience with Tom Watson the owner. Made a payment and he screwed up on the dates and wouldn't take responsibility for his errors which affected my insurance. I wouldn't trust this broker if my life depended on it.

I want to thank the team at Guardsman Insurance! Wendy and Tom always have my back! From answering questions, setting up policies and reassuring me. They have made insuring my home, horse trailer and car SUPER easy!

I messaged them to get a quote. They called me the next day. Super cheap and super friendly. Same plan as the last company I was with however I pay 65$ a year instead of 60$ a month for apartment insurance.
