Without this place I would have just had fruits and coffee in Vietnam in my 7 day trip! To the restaurant owner:- Please open a restaurant in Hanoi too! There is no option of vegetarian food there. Parking for two-wheelers is very easy. Park right in front of the restaurant. 4-wheeler parking is tricky as the restaurant is in the busiest area of Ho Chi Minh.

I ate breakfast and dinner at this restaurant multiple times , while my stay in Ho Chi Minh city . I can surely say the food quality is great with authentic taste of all dishes. It serves Gujarati,North Indian, South Indian and other typical Indian dishes . The service is prompt and staff is courteous . The pricing is reasonable been in big city like Ho Chi Minh city. Bike parking is available in front of restaurant and restaurant is alongside main road. Dishes like samosa , thepla , dosa, tandoori stuffed paratha and beverage like Indian Tea are good . Hygiene is maintained , tables are cleaned every now and then. In addition to Indian staff ,local ,Vietnamese, staff is nice too. Non- Indian customers eat here as well and like Indian food . I strongly recommend it .

Very confusing experience at this restaurant tonight. First of all, we were asked if we had a reservation (we did book ahead since we were turned away yesterday), when we said yes, they were very surprised and sat us down at one of the (many) free tables. After ordering, we got one meal and not the other until we asked for it 3 times. We were brought out tea at one point that we didn't order too. We watched as people came in, some people got a table with no reservation and some were rejected by the staff. There were at least 5 tables free the whole time we were there. The food was okay, not spectacular and definitely not worth the bad experience..

Perfect place for a homesick Indian to satisfy their hunger. 80s Hindi songs playing while you eat Dal makhani and Kadhai paneer 5000 kms away from home is truly a blessing. Mr Himanshu, the manager provided us with impeccable service which convinced us to dine and deliver 4 times during our 4 day stay in Saigon. Even if you aren’t an Indian and want to try out authentic Indian Cuisine at an affordable price, this place is a must go. Right in the middle of District 1 with every happening place nearby, It is convenient and the quick service is the cherry on the top. 10/10 Experience.

Hearty, Simple and Humble Indian Vege food! Although all dishes are nice but the best part is Tawa Roti which is equivalent of North Indian Phulka (with Desi ghee/butter). We had 15 between us (family of 4)!!! The paneer dishes we tried were also delicious along with Daal tadka and Daal Makhni (tried over two meals), I prefer the latter. I never expected to get such good food in Vietnam of all places, our experience in Phu Qouc wasn't this good. The service is also quick and Manish who co manages the place is a very efficient and down to earth guy! Highly recommended!

Cung cách phục vụ của nhân viên ở đây chỉ tạm được thôi. Giống như trong 1 quán phở hay cơm gì đấy. Không giống như 1 nhà hàng. Nói chung là tạm được. Món ăn thì tới đây mình mới biết, đây là nhà hàng chay. Nhưng món ăn rất ngon. Mình gọi 1 món có trong hình và bánh mỳ garlic nan. Nói chung mình hài lòng với món ăn. Mình ăn 2 người 2 phần, 2 bánh mỳ, 2 ly nước chanh và 1 phần salad (phần salad không ngon, chỉ có hành tây và carot). Tổng cộng 486K. Nói chung mình chỉ hài lòng với món ăn, vì là món chay nhưng vẫn cho mình cảm giác ngon miệng. Còn tất cả mọi thứ khác chỉ tạm được. Có thể nói là quán ăn, nhưng chi phí thì giống nhà hàng.

Gujarat Indian bietet leckeres Essen, das definitiv den Gaumen erfreut. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass die Preise im Vergleich recht hoch sind. Was mir auffiel, war, dass die Mitarbeiter, einschließlich des Herrn im Hemd, öfter mal ein Lächeln aufsetzen könnten, um die Atmosphäre freundlicher zu gestalten. Das Ambiente des Restaurants konnte mich nicht wirklich überzeugen, es fehlte an einer angenehmen Gestaltung. Trotzdem war das Essen ein Highlight, und dafür würde ich wiederkommen.

Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen für dieses Restaurant nicht nachvollziehen. Also mein thali war lauwarm und geschmacklich langweilig. Bei der Rechnung würden noch mal 10% drauf geschlagen, ohne dass es vorher vom Personal kommuniziert wird. Das ist schon ziemlich dreist und unverschämt. Meine Empfehlung: gehen sie woanders essen. Es gibt viele sehr viel bessere Restaurants in der Umgebung

Very nice food, you can hv Gujarati thali which includes salad chhas, roti two sabhi Dal rice. Special thalis with sweets are also available. Over all good food. We had 10 days vietnam tour and in last two daya we got Gujarati food and we loves it as at most of the places only non veg and sea food is visible getting delicious Gujarati thali and that is also in pure veg restaurant was really very delightful. One of the chef cookers from the kitchen came out to take my order. Very strange atmosphere, why'll there's also waiters around! Compliments to the chef cook, the food was great, spicy and well balance (one of the best restaurants food I've had in Vietnam).

Sehr geiles Restaurant. Is nur n kurzer Weg hin. Direkt gegenüber ist ein Park, der zwar nicht mit dem Restaurant zusammen gehört, aber vielleicht ist er trotzdem eine Erwähnung wert. Nice spot hidden just directly across the street from the Central Market. Authentic Indian food with all the right ingredients. I had the dosa with masala for an early morning breakfast, they open at 8am which was nice considering I'm still on a different time zone. This is one of the vegetarian food place for anyone, Owner from gujrat, so you can talk in Hindi and English, they serve delicious food I tried Poha, tea, Aloo Parantha. Price you can check in photos. Location good as it’s on main road. After one or two shoops you can book Ho Chin Minh city tour bus they give you one hour ride for basic place of interest.

We ordered Deluxe thali and loved the taste of dal, paneer and mix veg. If you are in district 1 of Ho Chi Minh city, you must eat at Gujarat Indian Restaurant.

Perfect place for Indian food in a faraway land! We tried South Indian, North Indian and our authentic tea. Must visit place in Ho Chi Minh City. The manager “Mr Himanshu” helped us a lot and we felt at home in this presence. He also helped us in delivering food to our hotel in district 4.

The only pure vegetarian restaurant in vietnam unlike others using artificial meat. Food is pure and hygienic. We cooked for 10 days and at last in Ho Chi Minh we found this restaurant serving Jain Food ❤️. The owner also mentioned that they cook Jain Food separately. Taste was good and recommendable if you are in HCM.

Food is nice, staff is very good. Best place for Indian vegetarian food.

Great location, but sadly they don’t serve Thali in the evenings. For the price point, I found the food nothing to write home about. They could do with more photos with descriptions for non Gujaratis .

Must visit place for an Indian vegetarian and a gujju to be specific! They customised bhindi as per my taste. I totally recommend this place. Price is on a higher side though!
