I joined this gym because of its proximity which is convenient for me. It’s been 10 months now and the only thing I’m unimpressed with is the maintenance. You guys no longer purchase paper towels and sanitizers and that’s a huge problem because some of us are hygiene conscious, secondly there hasn’t been hot water in the showers for the past two weeks,are we expected to take a cold shower?!? Please look into those two things,else you’ll be getting a lot of unsatisfactory reviews from your members, otherwise you’ve got awesome gym instructors and friendly staff always willing to assist.

I've got nothing against the gym,but the staff behavior ,left a bitter taste in my mouth and traumatized for days.I don't think I wanna sign up for a membership anymore.2 guys who were supposed to show us around were having a full blown argument about shifts and who's turn is it to welcome visitors....The manager was there nd did absolutely nothing to sort this argument out.Gym members were shocked to see such behavior, kindly sort this out ASAP,we need to see positive vibes only. That was too disturbing

I have a membership with gym, attending Westgate Gym Company. There is one entrance to the gym which means, if they are letting new members, they have to register their tags, and all other members must wait a good 15 minute and above. When I inquire with the gym , am told all use the same system , despite suggestions to dedicate an entry for new members, or allow them to enter, and register them using another computer. Find this system to be inconvenient to to everyone

The Gym equipment is fantastic and thats just about all there is to it. The Staff need to get themselves educated in customer management and friendly service. And so does the manager "Mr. Wynand" who is unreliable when trying to do business. This gym can go same way as other franchise gyms like Virgin Active, contracts (oh yes, they will steal your money!) and badly run by managers with bad business strategies and vision.

Poor service, the machine would go unfixed for weeks if not months. Sauna doesn't seem like it ever been cleaned, it's so dirty, you can actually see dirty grease on the seat (floor). I would never recommend Westgate Gym Company to anyone even to my worse enemy. I gym because I have a contract. Bad bad bad.

Management of this gym is a circus. The personal trainers and instructors have a tendency of chasing people out of the studio even when they're not scheduled to have a class. Nobody is doing anything about this. All they care about is new membership registrations.

Some facilities are amiss. There's no wifi and a swimming pool. Other than that it is an awesome gym. The group Personal Trainners and Coaches are awesome! It worth the value for your money. The Spa facilities fabulous. You leave feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone serious about working out. Equipment is ALWAYS out of order and takes forever to be repaired. Workers are rude especially "Trevor" not to mention, that for me atleast, I was given no information about

Gym Company Westgate- This is an average gym in my opinion... I say this because it is small in comparison to most gyms in the West Rand area and this gym lacks any sense of urgency as machines can go for a number of weeks without being

A good gym with a good crowd. There is a lot to offer in the free weight and the cardio sections, a few nice boxing bags, spinning classes and a course room. A good place to get in shape, and even a sauna for the finish!

Gets kind of full. But there's more then enough machines. And everyone is kind and helpful. They havve classes available and I've only taken one class the spin class and what a good class it's challenging but good times.

There has been no soap in the female bathrooms for the past week. The attitude from the manager really leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It is the nearest gym for me but I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Joined gym 3 months ago - convenience close to home. Gym supposed to open at 5am. Repeatedly- they open late leaving patrons stranded outside unable to excercise and access the facility. Find another gym

Nice people, aren't judgemental. People are super helpful. Weight training section, weight machine section, aerobics, cardio, cycling and treadmills available. There is a spa and sauna as well.

Gym is always full in the evening.. Weight section is chaos, no newcomers seems welcome. Don't touch my weights is the order of the day People horde all tools

During peak times (4pm and 7:30pm) it's too full size of the gym unable to handle, not to forget they can't handle members that leaves the weights all over

I love exercises and Zumba dance classes because the instructors are very committed. And the staff members are very friendly and willing to assist.

It's fair. The gym is small for the number of people that use it. Sonar doesn't work, lockers broken, constant maintenance on showers
