Last ditch, cheap option for a marshrutka to get back to Yerevan if the trains aren’t running. No one speaks English so it’s a bit of an adventure trying to pay for a seat, but not overly difficult. The wait can be very long as they won’t leave until all the seats are sold. There are scummy taxi drivers hanging around who will outright lie saying there’s no bus available so stay sharp and ask multiple people.

They charged first but departure only when getting enough passengers. I waited for two hours and they decided to change to a smaller car plus charging me more money due to limited passengers. What a shame. Strongly suggested people to take train if it’s possible. Definitely a no-go for travelers.

Bus to Vanadzor is #374. Had to wait about an hour for it to fill up and by the time it left it was absolutely packed. Bus station has a few seats, a paid toilet and some places to buy snacks.

Microbus to major towns around Armenia and also Tbilisi. It's not clear who runs the station and the ticket box has no idea about the schedule of departures.

Most terrible bus station. Taxi drivers said there is never no bus and you have to take the taxi. Looks like bus drivers was scared them.

If you miss your train ride. This is your best bet in going around Armenia. It;s nice mingling with the locals.
