Today was my first time shopping here. I’m from out of state and it will most definitely be my last time coming to this store. I came in with my fiancé and while we were shopping we felt very uncomfortable because of the comments that were being made by co workers that worked here. I’m black and my fiancé is white and two of their co workers made a comment saying “she’s probably with him for his money”. They also laughed afterwards. I then realized while I was in line I was not going to purchase anything from this place because of how nasty these people are. This a very disgusting/uninviting atmosphere! Description: One male co worker who is tall and is a brown complexion and a female who worked behind the register with braids and she’s also a brown complexion.

Came to do a return on a online order that someone brought my kid. I literally didn’t care if it was 10$’s I was willing to take the store value and buy other items. No i didn't Have a receipt because duh it was a gift. However but hole “manager LIZ” made it the most difficult thing ever. I read her, her own return guidelines and told her it’s ok I’ll take it for whatever value, but no a receipt was needed. I mean This is the nastiest women. She returned part of the same order but not everything because she felt i had attitude per her co worker who finished the transaction. I mean she act as if I wasn’t a customer who needed customer service. What I am going to say is I’ve worked here and shopped here ok and if she can’t do her job she needs to go!

As all H&M's you will find your cheap things here, but like most brick and mortar stores of H&M, the lines at the cash register are way too long. And it seems none of the staff care. Enough people hanging around that could man the three empty cash registers as I am typing this review in a long line... If you have time to wait, then go. But otherwise just order online or go elsewhere with your business. The bargain you have in the price of the clothes is lost in your time waiting that you could have spent differently; either making money working, or spending quality time with friends, family and loved ones. Could have spent another 5 minutes typing, given the length of the line, but the message covers it...

Comically awful customer service during our visit on 09.13.22, leaving us with a bad taste of H&M brand and leadership. Fitting room staff wouldn’t let anyone to use the fitting room at 8:15pm, even though the store’s hours are until 9pm, because “if we let you in, we wouldn’t have enough time to put away remaining clothes.” Instead, the staff advised us to “try on [pants and shorts] over our clothes” or “sneak into” a backroom in men’s section (where, as we discovered, were sundry boxes and tables in disarray). I assume the problem is on upper management, rather than employees, who appeared understaffed.

Well . I was waiting behind two people On cashier line . I was the last on line . Until sudely the line start in the other side . Then the people on the other side saying that the line start here . Fine they let me in first . Then both of cashier only say” I can help who is next on line ? I go to the cashier and he tell me “ Man is pretty simple Line start here “. BUT he help the other people before me to the opposite side and he never said or correct anybody about the Line!!!! SO don’t make me feel bad. Next time make sure there is no two lines HM !!!!!!! Terrible Customer Service ever

Please check your receipts. I had the young lady do a price check and she never took the item off. I called today and Liz, a manager, was very rude and hung up on me. Not only do I have to request a formal compliant, now I have to spend time and additional money to right the way I was wronged. They can pull cameras, look at inventory, or just plain ask the young lady at Checkout to verify the experience. I’m very disappointed seeing the amount of money I spend here. I pray everyone has a better experience.

I bought a sweater, M size. But the sweater I bought one is smaller than M. So I knew it after I came home. So It was impossible to wear because of smaller size. So I went back and told them to change by another L size. One guy told me it was possible. But another one woman told me it was not new. It was impossible to change... bla bla. She used bad words to me. Then I left my smaller sweater without return money. Might be she would sell my sweater. She could earn 34.99 dollar. Dufff.

I went to a dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory, looking a mess while everyone else looked casual and sophisticated smh. Luckily, the H&M store was right next door because I needed a shirt and a pair of shoes, but......the clothes looked so good and the prices were just right so I end up buying an whole outfit lol. When I stepped back in the cheese cake factory I became (the center of attention). My new favorite clothing store THANKS H&M

Yesterday my mother in law’s bag was stolen at the children stand at around 3pm in H&M Georgetown. Store management refused to provide us with video record of that wide open spot: now I wonder if it was their client or employee committing the robbery - why hide that info otherwise. DC police has been informed about the accident. Watch your stuff very carefully if you ever go there- store won’t help you if you get in trouble.

Not recommend this H&M, the cashier lady who is turning “33 in 21 Dec” was very rude and disrespectful. Tried to exchange one item that I bought online but she refused to sell the same price that I bought. I understand the reason but the way she talk and explaining the policy was extremely aggressive!!!! IT IS NOT ONLINE H&M blah2 but the thing is I’ve exchanged many online order with different H&M with no issues

the stores great and they have great clothes and all other than the fact the the changing rooms are closed. what’s the point of going to a clothing store then buying something and it dosent fit you? i saw several people go up to the blocked off charging rooms and turn back to see them closed. please open the changing rooms it will stop people for wanting to buy clothes

I put down my sunglasses and I forgot them and someone cleaned out my dressing room and I ask someone to help me and everyone that works there made dumb out of me and pretend I never ask and a lady ask me for my number and said they would look but nobody wanted to help me look so if I can give them zero stars I would be more then happy to give them zero stars

I love this store, the only problem is parking. I'll suggest going after 7pm, so you park on the streets without paying for parking nor getting tickets. The store has all the trendy stuff H&M has to offer. There are three trendy H&M stores in DC; M st, Chevy Chase and Connecticut locations. I highly recommend this store if you're looking for something trendy.

There is an H & M near my home in So Cal. I didn't realize the stores were nationwide! It is one of my favorite stores to shop. I like how there is something there for everyone! I bought rose headbands for my 2 daughters and myself. They were inexpensive and are beautiful! ...I also bought some darling shirts for my little great nephew! I love H& M!!!

Extremely rude service by Shannon, who was on the phone while checking me out and wouldn’t even take a moment to listen to a customer. She clearly could benefit from customer service training and was completely unprofessional, inappropriate and a disgrace to the H&M brand. I will not be returning to this location as customers are clearly not needed.

I visited the store while they had discount. Like their clothes. Very reasonable and it is a steal when they have discounts. They can work on the quality of their clothes. I don't like their shoes at all. The cashier was very friendly but be careful he charged me extra and I had to ask for a credit. The store is clean and I will visit again.

Went In for a cocktail dress for a wedding and asked one of the gentleman for help finding a dress. I knew he would know the store best. He gave me so many great suggestions, the last dress was perfect but the incorrect size, took a picture of the tag and found it online in my size! Kudos to this guys for going above and beyond!

I like H&M because it reminds me Sweden, and George Town Store is a good one, it has home part. Just the problem is that the fitting room is under the construction so I should try at home and it made me back to the store. I’m really happy that “KHaLIL” was there, He is enough patience, and he really helpful , Thank you Khalil.

Large selection of teenager clothes. Our 13 year old always finds good fashionable articles of clothing at very good prices. Conveniently located between Wisconsin Avenue and M Street in Georgetown, parking is of course a challenge and it does get pretty crowded at times. But the staff is good at clearing customers quickly.

Store had good stuff but the cashier was so distracted talking to other workers. Told me to sign up for the loyalty program to get 10 percent off my order, I did & he scanned the code and I got home to look at my receipt at he never took the 10 percent off. Check and double check your receipts and this place

Great prices but becareful the male workers open the curtains in the dressing rooms while people are inside... i saw a guy in his underwear because the worker had no idea what he was doing. Very surprised HM allows this kind of behavior in their stores. Improper management at this location becareful.

The store is always nice and clean . Some staff members are nice . I’ve found great deals for my family ( men’s , women’s , kids and babies .) I give it four stars because the cashiers are slow , sometimes it seems like your waiting in line for about 10-15 minutes and that’s not even on a busy day .

Funniest thing happened: Hi would love to see the coat the mannequin has on. Oh the one the mannequin in the store AND in the window has on ? Yes both the mannequins. Ah yes we don't have that coat anymore... Seriously ? Why is it on 2 mannequins... Uh well dunno actually. Hilarious....

A lot of decent clothes on clearance. Long lines on the weekends suck because you might have to wait 15-20 minutes to buy a shirt or some socks, lol. The home section is the best. Kids can be a maze but you'll find a couple outfits for the little ones. I personally wouldn't shop there.

A great store, the co-workers are friendly and I had an overall positive experience working there, but just to let you know if you are working security at the store, please stay out of the way as they are watching as well as higher ups who will text managers if there are any changes

Terrible customer service. Came at 6.45 and they already didn’t let people in since they were closed. And I needed to make a return exactly on that day! Improve your customer service or hire more stuff, you can’t simply close the store when it’s officially still operating hours!

I had to wait a 20 min line in order to get couple of hair clips. They should have more cashiers in other parts of the store, maybe a faster one for people who are buying less than five items so that we don't have to wait forever to grab a pair of sunglasses.

Customer support sucks, employees enjoy smirking about customers rather than help them. Needless to say they are quite rude especially when it's close to closing, by close I mean 20 minutes. Worst H&M experience ever, never going back to that location again.

I loved the Georgetown H&M store. The assortment of products across various ages were readily available at great prices. The checkout was a great experience since it took much lesser time and moreover the overall ambience at the store was simply great!

Just had to run in to grab some cheap shoes (obviously left with more than that) for my girlfriends cousin while on a weekend trip to DC. Only complaint was that the upstairs register wasn't open so the downstairs line was long. No worries though

This store needs a new buyer. I use to be able to go to the store in Georgetown and buy a few pieces of black to mix and match. It's totally garbage. Staff don't speak or smile. It's a waste of time and don't throw your money away.

This store does not have very polite staff. No one seems to want to help you out or have time for you or even to do their job. Also, in the past few years, H&M has had a poor selection of clothing. Not a fan of their style anymore.

I can’t believe this place is honestly still open. They have horrible customer service and are extremely unhelpful. Every experience I’ve had with this store has been unpleasant. I like h&m and absolutely not this location.

I just love shopping here. They have clothes for everyone and also accommodate different sizes. It's my go to shopping spot. I'm actually planning to go there for a quick shopping trip. They have the best summer dresses !

Just did some shopping in H & M on M Street in Georgetown this morning. The store itself is fine, but the customer service needs a lot of work. Lousy attitude from the personnel at the checkout counter.

I hate spiders and am terrified after my today’s visit in this store. While I was looking at the dresses, there was a spider on one of them. Terrible. I have a video of it.

Not really for me, was walking around Georgetown and popped in. I am 55 though, so probably not the demographic they are looking at! If I was 19 I'd probably live here.

It is my favorite of the H&M's in the city. There is such a wide variety of clothes for men. I do wish they had double x for vests. The staff is very friendly.

Found some cute clothes and dresses. Some of them had really good deals! The store was clean and organized. Definitely hit them up for some good sales!
