VERY UNHAPPY This is absolutely inexcusable. I work in the medical field as does my spouse, we are familiar with how things run at not only physician's offices but also pharmacies. Let me start with saying, of course we know things happen. Sometimes issues come up that are simply not in anyone's control. That just isn't the case here. My SIX YEAR OLD is VERY sick, running a high temp and in need of antibiotics, which he was prescribed. The RX was sent to to the HEB Pharmacy by 11:30 AM. We live close so upon arriving did not expect it to be ready. My H is the administrator for a large medical practice in town, and needed to get to work. So when he was informed that they (HEB) needed to call the doctor to clarify dosing instructions, and that no one was answering due to it now being lunch time, needless to say that was discouraging. I had the very ill child at home in my lap waiting for medication. Luckily our doctor calls before 1 PM, he called during his lunch to explain the instructions he had included with the prescription. Thank God we thought! No. We are now told it will be 1 hour before the medications are ready. Still we are only 2 hours in. I am not hating HEB I am simply frustrated and disappointed. Waiting at home, we call and check every 45 min. Yes, I am sure they were tired of hearing from us. However each time we were told it was not ready. Now at 4:45 PM husband goes to pick up the meds (praying they are ready) and you know what he is told? THEY DON'T HAVE THE ANTIBIOTIC IN STOCK!!!!!!!!!! Why did you not tell us when we called?! Why not CALL US?! This is a SICK CHILD! Just ask yourself HEB Pharmacy Staff, if this was your child how mad would you be right now? What would make it right? Everyone I have told about this has said you guys won't care. Won't care that now this poor kid has to be put in a car, and travel to the Nogalitos location, where if God is willing they will be able to give us the medication. You guys said they have it ..we shall see. Not having a med in stock is not something we would ever get angry at. Neglecting to call the customer and inform them so they can make adequate arrangements to obtain said medication??? WRONG! That is the most BASIC of procedures! This kid is barely able to keep a temp below 103 w OTC meds, and the pharmacy we put our trust in to get him the only medication that will truly reduce that, and relieve his suffering.. YOU. As of right now we still don't have the meds. All you had for us is "I am sorry" well, I am sorry I have to write this review. We have overlooked issues each time we refill meds there, however they are so small we usually don't sweat it. I suppose now we are paying the price for that. It is one thing for several people to ignore me when I am standing in front of ya'll. Not even a glance to say one moment, or a smile. Basic customer service skills they teach at McDonalds. It is even one thing for ya'll not to catch drug interactions, honestly I don't trust you guys to do that anyway, I check myself. We have had several meds that needed to be changed due to that issue that you guys missed. Since we do our due diligence, even that I don't put on you. When it comes to a child suffering even ONE MINUTE longer than they need to. You need to be accountable. Get with it. It could be your kid next time. Oh, and btw husband never made it to work. Son is simply too sick to be walking around, I can't carry him, and obviously won't leave him alone to get the medication. He planned on going as soon as ya'll filled the meds. An entire medical practice was affected by this. Unbelievable.

They told me to come back back the next day after 12pm and my medicine should be ready. Stood in line and waited over 30 min and they said my medication was still not ready. It’s been over 30 hours and still not ready. They need more workers and structure to keep up with their demand. They are way too behind and under employed. I came on my break and now I have to wait till tomorrow and come back to see if it’s even ready. Go to. Walgreens or CVS if you need medication. This heb is far too behind.

Firs time i came nothing on the computer . It took me one hour to get a hold of the doctor and my medicine was sent a day ago. I go back the lady apologize and found me this time on the computer. Second time today they say 15 minutes i waited 45 minutes on line . i go back and they gave my medicine to someone alse they sendme to goliad. What is the purpose of choosing ur pharmacy if they do what they want the personal at the drive true are just playing around

Waiting 45 minutes telling me it was gonna be ready in a minute and nothing..... I was in line for more than 30 minutes In Drive-thru, this is absolutly ridiculous... also need to move the signs where cars can see it because I got parked in the wrong lane waiting then I see the sign and I have to move all the way to the back lane to get my prescriptions waiting again

Horrible wait time for the drive thru... I got here at 7:05 pm and it is now 7:52 pm... what they do in there is beyond me... But every time I come here it takes forever to get your meds when you are going to the drive thru.... In my opinion I think a one star is still to much for them... 20 mins my ass it's more like over an hour....

very nice, very sweet workers. got to know two pharmacist over the years, they pulled a lot of strings (calling the doctors office and looking for coupons for wonderful discounts) but if you are in a hurry, then don't go through drive-thru during lunch rush, after school/work, because everybody and their mother will be there...

Overall this pharmacy is a very good place to have prescriptions filled. Through the years we've been going here we've only had a couple of minor problems. The staff is always very friendly and helpful! Couldn't say about the drive through as we always go inside.I have and still do recommend this pharmacy highly!

They called me saying my medication was ready waited in line 45 minutes outside then they told me to go inside waiting another 45 minutes I told them I would come back the following day and the same thing happen I’m a PT and just looking over the counter you can tell they’re very un organized

Pésimo servicio, el medicamento nunca esta listo cuando llegas, te hacen esperar una eternidad y los medicamentos q cubre el seguro en otras farmacias, ahí nunca lo cubre, un desastre total. En realidad no merecen ni una estrella.

The lines are always long which I understand but there needs to be more clerks. The service is mixed. Sometimes the employees will be in a great mood and other times not. Only reason I go back is because of an elderly relative.

Although I had to come back a couple times because my prescription was not showing up on their system, I had a great experience. Helen was very welcoming, polite and professional at all times.

This is the worst pharmacy I have been to. Said it would take 30 minutes it took almost 2 hours. Staff was rude. I will never use this pharmacy again. I am definitely sticking with CVS

I like HEB but this drive thru service has always been slow. Thinking about switching. I don't like dreading to pick up prescriptions cause I know I'm gonna be waiting 35-45 min.

Well I was on the phone with them for seven mins and they just picked up phone set on counter top and let me listen to what was so important to them. Cutting up and laughing

I am so sick of this pharmacy idk why I default to put them for when I need pick up bc they always take forever even on a slow day with 1 or 2 cars.. that is all.

H-E-B Pharmacy is okay; didn't have to wait long to pickup a friend's prescription. Afterwards, bought some items I needed at H-E-B.

Love my HEB Pharmacy on the Southside off Pleasanton . Same technicians have been there a long time. Always helpful and nice.

I know why this pharmacy has so many 1 star reviews. Will be transferring my meds to CVS or Walgreens
