I recently had the pleasure of dining at Habesha Restaurant it was truly a delightful experience. The restaurant had a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a cozy dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. The menu offered a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes, each prepared with great care and attention to detail. I particularly enjoyed the was bursting with amazing flavors and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. In addition to the phenomenal food, the service was top-notch. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. They were always available to address any questions or requests we had, making us feel valued as customers. The restaurant also had a lovely atmosphere, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. It created a relaxing environment where we could enjoy our meal and engage in conversation without feeling rushed. Considering the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the overall experience, I found the prices to be reasonable and fair. It was definitely worth every penny. Overall, my dining experience at H abesha Restaurant was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their delectable dishes.

The food is amazing. I have been here several times and I will always recommend it as the best Habesha food in the city. The staff that works at the bar and serves (I forgot his name) is friendly. He is always there when I go. I am taking off a star because half the time I go there the food takes too long to come out. Waiting 1-2hrs for your food is not acceptable regardless if they are making it fresh. I’ll probably be back next week!!

I discovered the Ethiopian cuisine in Vancouver when I was looking for authentic restaurants. Now that I am in Calgary, I had to find a good Ethiopian place to satisfy my occasional cravings. Since I don't eat meat and I don't like food to be too spicy, it's not that easy to find a good place with such restrictions... But Habesha was great with a wide variety of options; and the hosts were very kind and happy to help! We ended up with a veggie platter with no hot spices and it turned out great!

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today. Our party of 3 had the Mahberawi, and it was excellent. The meat was very well seasoned and the portions were very generous. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was nearly empty when we arrived but ny the time we left every table was full and I can see why.

An unexpected surprise! Stopped in while wandering on 17th Ave to warm up, but ended up staying for dinner. Excellent friendly service and delicious food! The spiced tea was especially nice on a cold day :) Highly recommend!

I called to make a take away order. When I arrived, my order was not there (They got confused and gave it to someone else who had coincidentally ordered the same dish). I had to reorder it and wait. I didn’t get an apology until I asked for one, and the apology was defensive. They refused to give me a discount. I didn’t feel valued as a customer.

The flavour of the food here is amazing! The restaurant is clean and the people are very nice. I’m definitely coming back! I am vegan and love Ethiopian food. I have tried many other Ethiopian restaurants and this one is great!

The waitress was super nice and helpful, taking time to explain various dishes. We shared a yefs'g beyaynetu between 2, and it was absolutely delicious.
