The Happy Cafe is a standout! It's a little gem of a cafe in Brisbane east, offering a great variety of dishes regardless breakfast/brunch or lunch. The Merlot coffee is always consistent with the most friendliest of staff offering great customer service with a smile. Tucked away on Bennetts Road, its certainly worth a stop!

My all time favourite place. I love the coffee (especially the Happy Frappè) The food is amazing, lots of variety & really yummy Thai food too. But it's the people that make it so wonderful. Mark & Nutt are so lovely & they really have customer service down to a fine art. The fresh fruit after a spicy meal is a winner!!

Loved everything about this great little cafe. The food was presented elegantly with Thai flair & flavours. My avocado, so simple but so pretty on the plate. Egg in a pan just delicious. Coffee, rich, smooth & flavoursome, a well made Merlo. Staff were also great. Pet friendly too in a pleasant setting.

The people who run this cute little coffee shop are lovely. The last two times I have been here the owner escorted me to my car with an umbrella sheltering me from the rain and then brought out a comfy chair to the footpath for me to sit on while I waited for my coffee. Fabulous service.

Great coffee, made quickly, served by the loveliest staff. Also the home-made banana bread is seriously amazing. I haven't tried the full meals for breakfast or anything, but from what I can tell they don't have many vegetarian/vegan options. My go-to for a lazy morning coffee.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was incredible, the staff were attentive and very kind. I have never felt more welcomed in a cafe than I have while I was here. The cafe may be on a slightly busy road, but the venue was very relaxing and had a great ambience.

Lovely place, they serve really big portions and are very generous with their food. The woman that was working there gave my family free watermelon, which was very nice of her! Love the place, vibes and the music. Very lovely place, will come again soon.

Fantastic little family-run café / restaurant. This is now our favourite in the area. Merlo coffee, great croissants and perfect Thai food on a greenery filled patio. Oh and easy parking. One of those hidden gems you keep coming back to again and again.

Absolutely would recommend! The service was amazing, such great attitudes and the owner even brought us over fresh watermelon complimentary whilst we were enjoying our Banh Mi. The duck and pork banh mi were what we tried and we would 100% recommend!

One of my favourite cafes! Lovely outdoor or indoor seating with a very relaxing atmosphere. Offers a good range of cafe dishes but also excellent Thai meals (such as Pad Thai) and banh mi.

They were close to closing and still made us some food. Delicious pad Thai and nice eggs. They also brought out some complementary fruit! Such sweet, kind owners and a cute little spot.
