The Haasendal Gables is not a very big mall in comparison with others in the area, but the location is convenient and it has a nice mix of stores and restaurants. The stores range from groceries and clothes to curios and bookstores, and their mix of restaurants ensure that they have options available for quick lunches or lengthy sit-down dinners. As it's a open-air mall you never feel crammed in and there is also a big kids' play area (indoor pay-to-use play area). Outside there is ample parking as well as a McDonalds if you want to grab some take-aways, and with the area around it constantly expanding it only adds to the appeal of the mall.

We had lunch at the Boer and Butcher. They serve a carvery for Sunday lunch which needs to be ordered before the time. Although they had a mix up with our reservation and food order, we were still able to have the lunch. We sat outside and they had some live entertainment. Boer and butcher is a combination of a butchery and restaurant. This is the second one we have visited and food is always good. The quality of the meat is good and they have a wide selection of all sorts of cuts of meat. Clean and neat and the working area and cooler rooms are visible to the public. Biltong and Droe wors is top quality

When you hear that the Brackenfell area has yet another mall popped up, you roll your eyes, right? Ofcause you do. Don't roll them too far yeahà! Haasendal Gables doesn't fall into the mediocre mall stature. It is an intimate small-ish mall that caterer for the normal day to day unexpected need to get it now folks. You park your car, and you move. Little things have huge impact. The most important needs under one roof. When you go, just do yourself that selflove favor and peek in at Spar coffee shop. I promise you, you will be so happy when you leave. Real cake, ffffff fantastic!

Very nice shopping centre. The BEAN TREE restaurant inside of Spar has really GREAT food at AFFORDABLE pricing with WOW portions! The staff is friendly with great service. You can bring your laptop and sit and work if you need to. They have plugs and WiFi. A big plus for a small setup like this. They tick all the boxes. It can get very busy over lunch time, so come early for you seat otherwise you will have to wait. Worth the visit!

Very convenient having such a well-equipped little centre just down the road from us. The Spar is great, with a wide variety of foods, both prepared and stocked. The restaurant is very nice too. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rest of the centre has almost everything you need, from a pharmacy, to ATMs, a laundry, Mr Price, Sheet Street, restaurants and cafes, and a variety of quaint little shops.

The decor is amazing and staff friendly, but that is where it stops. The food is nothing special, besides the way it's presented. It's something you can order at most mainstream fast foods or restaurants. The order took very long to arrive and the staff weren't at the table much to check up on us. They might have been short staffed. Nice family place for drinks and lovely view at kiddies playground.

Very clean place, child friendly and enough parking lots. Has one the best urban landscape views . Almost everything you need in one place drive through fastfood outlet, fuel garage, grocery store, liquor store, cafes and restaurants, clothes store.....to name a few. So whenever in the radius please make a turn and #supportlocal don't forget to tip generously car parking marshals

This is quite lovely shopping centre with all the stores you could possibly need. The restaurants have amazing meals for sit down or takeaway at decent prices. The decor is quite intruiging and quaint. The place is relatively clean abd maintained in such a state. The Spar has a wide variety of products and is very modern. All in all, a top notch ahopping experience in the waiting.

As small as it is, the shopping center has all the amenities one might need and expect from a small shopping complex. Your clothing stores, Pharmacy and restaurants can also be found here. Even a dentist is located here should the need arise. For someone that lives in the new flats, this is the most convenient shopping center one can hope for.

Awesome new shopping centre with great shops. Fantastic breakfast spot for a quick bite. Clean and well managed shopping mall, there's a Super Super Spar that offers most grocery needs and also a Tops bottle store. There's a Dischem pharmacy and some boutique and unique stores offering interesting merchandise. Loads of parking, easy in and out making the shopping experience a very enjoyable one.

March 17 2022 .I like this shopping centre . It has no roof so its possible to be rained upon and to feel the wind . Great. The Superspar is very good . Great selection of cafes and restaurants. From Ocean Basket to coffee cafes , including sushi , Indian cuisine and an excellent pub with great value food.

Love shopping at Haasendal. Atmosphere and scenery at the mall is great, friendly service overall and ample and safe parking. Their restaurants is some of the best and always deliver good food. Haasendal Spar is by far the best Spar I've shopped at and you get quality products for the best possible price.

New Centre opened March 2019. Beautiful well stocked Spar. Popular shops and eateries. Still waiting for the new restaurants to open so will try those soon. Only gripe is that exiting the centre into the main traffic is often difficult as there are no traffic lights and traffic backs up during peak time.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Haasendal, our first visit, a friendly town, a lovely center, Christmas tree made of potplants was quite unique. A tranquil time was spent at the water wheel. We enjoyed lunch at Ocean Basket where we were very happy with service, friendliness and decor.

Nice mall. Absolute nightmare getting into and out off in peak traffic periods. Should you have to go there in peak traffic, make sure you have snacks, liquids and nothing else urgent to do. Good conversation and or ample airtime might also assist in this journey.

Good essentials mall on the border on Brackenfell and Kuilsriver. Easy access from bottelary Road and Brackenfell boulevard. Has a Dischem, PNA, Spar, Ackermans, PEP, nice restaurants and takeaway stores. Disabled toilets are always locked and/or broken.

We had a pleasant experience. We bought more than we had ventured to do. This included fish, cookies and obviously our purchases at Spar. The Spar store always offers more than you wanted to buy. They have great food ideas at very reasonable prices.

Very nice spar as anchor tenant. Lots of other stores too. Strip mall so the walkways is open to the weather. Has all the shops you expect in a mall. Chemist, cellphone, clothing, biltong and lots more. Parking is ample and easy to navigate.

The customer service is excellent in the shops. I had a nice cuppacino from colcacio. I would recommend u visit the mall especially the kiddies party place Playalot they prepare everything for your kudsbparty just show up with the guests.

It is a smallish shopping Centre with a few places to eat. It has a Dis-chem, Pep, crazy store, Ackerman, and a lovely huge Spar and liquor store. Also has a Visfabriek. There are also some take away places nearby KFC and McDonald's.

Whoever designed this place, did a great job!. I love that there's a Dischem and Spar, and other shops that you usually shop at. Nice coffee shops too! And it's an open mall , so it gives a relaxing and tranquil shopping experience.

Great place to shop. Spar has all you need with lovely shops like hair salons and cake shops. Vida e Cafe for great coffee. the only problem is that not all the shops are occupied and reasturant still need to take up there places.

Nice modern building with a really nice mixture of shops. Super clean and well maintained with activities for kids, families and business people alike. Open air roof design gives it plenty of light with lots of natural fresh air.

Waited very long for our food and there were sufficient staff and very little people to cater to. Please have a look at receiving your guests at the door. I know they are busy with renovations but etiquette remains a big factor.

Visited Dischem there but also made a stop at Spar. Very pleasant little shopping centre. Was not overcrowded when I was there. Has a MacDonalds as well as a Playalot area for kids. Give it a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Very unpleasant in rainy weather. One cannot do shopping as you will be soaked wet. You need to do shopping only when there is no rain. The floors / tiles inside the mall are very slippery. This is very bad for good business.

Great shopping centre with quite a lot of shops all round. You can do most of your monthly grocery shopping at this centre. Neat and clean and ample free parking available. Restrooms also available. Definitely worth a visit.

We went to Mohk Indian restaurant in the mall and thoroughly enjoyed it. Inside was tastefully decorated and the food was incredible. We did not have to pre-book and the service was amazing. I highly recommend a visit.

Popped into the Spar to buy a few things. Was sad to see that they don't have a big fresh cut fruit section. Was really looking forward to purchasing a quarter or half a watermelon, but they only had whole watermelons

Great shopping mall just outside Kuilsrivier/Brackenfell. They have the following shops:Boer and Butcher/Pick Pay clothing/SPAR/PnA/MrPrice/Dischem/VidaeCafe and many other shop. Also have a Mcdonalds and KFC outside.

Always a pleasant shopping experience, accessible parking and Covid protocols in place. Spar never disappoints with a lovely bakery, a grab a quick lunch variety. Definitely pick up your braai stuff in a hurry.

Has the highest rated Spar in the Western Cape. Playalot is a great place to get the kids tired. Best to park behind the mall. Not really affected by loadshedding. However cellular signal may be an issue.

A very neat and clean centre. Spar here has some of the best quality products and stocks a range called Nistar which are out of this world in all the products. Well worth the trip and ample parking.

My grandson of 4 loves to play at Play a lot... And he plays there a lot.. pardon the pun. The staff are very friendly, helpful and caring... I am at ease to leave him in their care while i shop

It's a nice little centre that offers a surprising wide range of shops for the size of centre it is. Traffic around the centre can be a problem during rush hour but other than that it's great.

Haasendal Gables is excellent for a quick trip for necessities. Hosts a number of essential businesses and is centrally located on corner of Bottelary road and Saxdown Road.

I love shopping there, the produce at Spar is alwats fresh and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Plus they have a section with important goodies, love buying there.
