Really disappointed and a bit angry. I'm sorry I don't share the same view as most on here. Took my 12 year old to get a straightforward trim - the lady was lovely, don't get me wrong, but she suddenly got very distracted when an (obvious) regular/friend came in to reception. I then felt she'd rushed, getting another girl to help dry. After the (expensive) £35 charge, we left. Annoyingly, later in the day we found that the left side of her layers at the front had been untouched, so now 2 inches shorter than the right! I have since been elsewhere to sort it out and quite obviously never going to Hair Associates again.

I don't think I have ever heard such rudeness over the phone. Someone must have had a bad day or they are just so so impolite. To spend 10 minutes over the phone trying to book an appointment without actually allowing me to book one is so inconsiderate. Why waste anyone's time if you don't have a space. It would have been easier to just say NO instead of the back and forth maybes! At the end, the lady over the phone suggested that I could come and see if someone is free. If nobody is free, "just go home!" she said! I will never call for an appointment again.

I was getting my hair coloured for the first time and I wanted a memorable experience. However, when I went in I simply told the woman that I wanted my hair done blonde. She was really rude and responded with "No I can't do your hair blonde" which it ironic because that's how it ended up. I spent a good ten minutes looking at alternatives, all in which she rejected. The one star is for the colour actually coming on but even that's faded. Absolute rubbish would recommend going to Kirens next door as the staff there are wonderful.

I just got my 3 year old daughters' hair cuts by Roxanne at HA. It was a cut from long hair, since birth with few trims, into a bob, and I can't praise her skill and patience enough. She cut my daughter's hair to the same standard as an adult. Everyone, has commented on the amazing cut (and of course my daughter is very cute), well graded, excellent fringe, fantastic job. I would unreservedly recommend Roxanne for kids and adults alike. Thank you.

I have been a customer here for several years and have always enjoyed a warm, friendly service. Hair Associates offer a great range of hair treatments for all ages, male or female, for a fair price. The salon has simple but elegant decor and is very clean. The stylists are friendly, chatty and welcoming. Abi, who does my hair, is an absolute gem! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hair Associates - give them a go and become a regular!

Avoid these part timers. They seem to run their business in a ad hock way. 2 times my other half main arrangements to go in for her hair. 4:30 on a Monday, and then the following day on at 3:00. Both times all the lights were on, but doors locked and nobody about. Plenty of google local places in Chap Allerton, like Mod Salons who are true professionally who charge a fair and reasonable price.

I've been going to Hair Associates for about 15 years now - they're brilliant - I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. Margi is a fantastic hairdresser - she colours my hair every 6-8 weeks and I have a cut every other time I go. I trust her implicitly with my hair - she's always up to date with new colours/techniques and often suggests things she thinks will suit me (she's ALWAYS right).

Sarah's been my hairdresser for almost 30 years and I've never had less than excellent service. No matter what it is you want, there'll be someone in the team who can deliver it. The salon is scrupulously clean and the welcome is always warm and friendly, right down to the lasses who shampoo and make the tea! I always look forward to my visits to Hair Associates.

Cut and colour after lockdown, couldn’t be more pleased. John has done an amazing job getting rid of all the bulk and covering all the grey. The salon is well organised, each station being sanitised after each client with empty chairs between clients. Felt completely safe and am looking forward to my next visit. Great job from all the team in our new ‘normal’.

I felt very safe and was so excited and a little emotional to be back in the hairdresser chair to get the greys covered after 4 months!

Have been going for years..ignore negative reviews..they are friendly, talented, reasonably priced! Love you, Sarah! P.S. Lucky enough to return last Saturday and felt completely COVID safe. Wore a face mask, Sarah and staff in visors and everything being cleaned constantly..half the number of clients obviously.
