My elderly mother visited Hair Care Studio today and she has short hair. (above shoulder), she asked for a cut and they quoted her one price. However, when she was leaving, she was told that she had "a lot of hair" and therefore, was charged an extra $10. I am unsure why the hairdressers would quote one price, after seeing her short hair, then charge her more. English is also not her first language, and she was not able to ask for clarification. There was no towel or cover for the back of her neck, and she came home with so much hair bits falling everywhere. The haircut itself has left her very unhappy. The sides are not even and her fringe is not straight. My mum wanted to support the local businesses, but in the end she left feeling cheated. We are not sure why the lady at Hair Care Studio felt they could take advantage of an Senior Citizen.

Not a good experience recently with a request for a fringe ‘trim/cut’. Was cut way too short with parts of hair added in that were not even in the fringe area. Perhaps cutting a smaller amount off first and checking with the client if they want more taken off would be a suggestion. Easier to take more off gradually than not be able to do anything about it when it’s already too short. Very disappointing.

omg please do not go here they completely hacked my hair, i asked for layers and showed the hairdresser tons of photos and me and my mum were VERY specific. she completely failed to communicate with me or my mum and started to just chop bits of my hair leaving it completely uneven. i had long blonde and think hair before and she left it thin, uneven and short. please, DO NOT HO HERE!!

Always feel comfortable coming here. Have both colour and cut done. On special occasions have had my hair curled. Regularly attend this salon. Have always been happy with the results.

Good hairdresser. Prices gone up a bit now. Has been a hairdresser shop for about 9 yrs. Ladies and men. At entrance from Burgundy St.
