had the absolute pleasure of meeting Aylin today for a haircut. I walked in feeling frumpy down and honestly a little insecure about how much I’d neglected my hair in recent months. I had no idea what I wanted other than to feel beautiful again… so I told her to do whatever she felt would suit my face shape. We laughed we talked and she reminded me just how kind some people in the world can be. After a stern talking to about how beautiful I was inside and out I left bouncing down the street with absolute confidence all the way back to work. This woman is an absolute credit to your business and after years in Melbourne I can honestly say I’ve finally found my stylist. Her absolute cheerful and positive attitude made my day a little less stressful and a little more confident. Can’t wait to come back and I’m digging my new hair and all the compliments! Myself and my cousin both got nose piercings here last week and after being told to come back multiple times for no reason, mine fell out of my nose within a few hours and my cousins fell out in a couple of days. Tried to call however the phone line is so awful you cannot hear anything!! Could slightly here them tell me to go to a different hairhouse warehouse which I did and had to get it repierced and pay again. When at the different hairhouse they advised me that the carlton store should NOT have pierced our noses with that type of ring as for new piercings they typically fall out and are an outdate style due to the fact they fall out. No one advised us of this!! Do not get pierced here, didnt even offer for a new piercing or money back.

Two weeks back I went to this salon for layer cut, she suggested few things regarding style and I got impressed. She started cutting differently, initially I didn’t have a clue once the cut is done she didnt show the style somehow she started doing the curls, and she charged $75, next day I was totally disappointed has my hair was horrible with no layer cut at all… I strongly recommend not to opt in for any hair cut ..

I came in with an at home bleach job gone wrong. My hair was brassy and extremely damaged. I thought my only option would be to go dark again but Taranah was able to transform my hair into a beautiful cool blonde and I’m more than happy. She also gave me great advice on how to look after it and the price was very reasonable considering the disaster I started with!!!

Maz was very helpful in assessing my hair issues, and helping me understand core hair concepts which I will use going forward. She had a clear understanding of the products in store and was able to find products specifically for my hair type, with my allergies in mind - something I would have found very difficult otherwise.

I have been to your store twice in the last month and both times it has been closed. Your details say that the store was supposed to be open Thursday nights and Sundays however the store was closed. Update your opening times as this was a huge inconvenience not just for me but I am sure for others too. Disappointing.

Horrible haircut. Charged 50 bucks to run the machine around the head when asked for a skin fade. Didn't even blend in and the hair looks horrible. Less than 20 minutes and it was all done she said. Will not recommend it and will never come back.

Prior to booking, I'd asked how much their root touch up was, was told $105. Upon arrival asked again - $105, turned out it was $105 + $45 for blow dry which I didn't get, I got a dry off. The person who dyed my hair, messed up the colour

Don’t trust for colouring. I’m not a professional but I’m not dumb enough to know not to start at my roots. I payed extra for a haircut regret that: a guess of a snip without pinning any hair up, it’s uneven and didn’t notice until I left

Tata is an amazing colourist , I would recommend her and the salon to anyone. The salon is super clean, they use amazing products and are very reasonably priced. I didn’t have my hair cut but will go back in a few weeks.

If I could give a minus score I would. They are rude and unhelpful in this store. I've been to many hairhouse warehouses and I've always had great service. I've only ever had bad experiences in the Carlton Store.

Went to get my hair styled for an event. Asked for curls, but don’t know what she did to my hair. She damaged my hair and the hair doesn’t look curled at all. Very disappointed.

Just went in to look at hair curlers and the two female workers were whispering at each other while I was asking questions. Never go here. So rude and unprofessional.
