My 7 year old daughter had her ears pierced for the first time about 4 weeks ago at Hairhouse Warehouse Epping. Unfortunately the left ear piercing was crooked and came through her ear lobe sideways. We did not notice the extent until the ear lobe had settled a couple of hours after the piercing. I took my daughter to my local chemist and we had the left piercing removed, but she wanted to keep the right piercing. I contacted Hairhouse Warehouse Epping by phone a couple of days later and spoke with the more experienced piercer involved in the piercing (the piercer who had pierced the right ear perfectly). I explained to her that the left ear that her assistant had pierced was not straight and we had it removed as soon as we realised. She was very apologetic and extremely professional and told me to allow the ear to heal and come back in a few weeks and she would fix it. I waited until my daughter's ear lobe had healed and we returned to the store. I specifically requested the more experienced piercer to pierce the left ear this time. I was a little nervous that she may not remember us and that they may charge us to fix the piercing, based on some of the other reviews I had read. I'm pleased to say, my fears were completely unfounded. The experienced piercer was once again, very apologetic and extremely professional. She was friendly and made my daughter feel at ease. She pierced the left ear without any fuss or questions and she didn't charge us for the piercing, new stud or aftercare product. After walking around for 4 weeks with only one ear pierced, my daughter is absolutely thrilled to finally be able to says she has her "ears" pierced! And guess what? They're both perfectly straight! I personally wouldn’t go here to get your hair cut unless it’s a basic trim. Especially when you expect professional hairdressers to help and guide you. Everything was rushed from the start, and there was miscommunication on both ends regarding the cut and style my mum wanted. The first dude was also rough. However, rather than being understanding and patient, both the two workers and the manager that we spoke to kept getting frustrated and having a rude tone when trying to talk to us. Also making snide remarks like "again, that’s a different style” when trying to show them different reference photos for different angles of head. The energy was just so uncomfortable with all the workers, which gave us evil stares. The girl who ended up finishing my mum's hair was nice; although she got frustrated at the start, and I think she did the best job she could. However, I don’t think they understood the look we were trying to achieve. I think they all should have been a lot nicer and more patient, and maybe they should do a training course in customer service. I feel bad that I suggested my mum get her hair done here, thinking she’d have a pamper day, which ended up being a very bad experience. I’ve worked in customer service for over 15 years, and I would never treat someone as badly as we were treated. Even if a customer was being rude to me, and we weren’t even rude; we were just trying to explain the style my mum wanted, and they weren’t understanding. It was a very overwhelming situation, and I wish we had just walked out. Such a horrible experience. I would suggest a better consultation at the start, continuously checking in with the client, don’t rush the service, and better customer service.

got my nose pierced and on the second morning the piercing fell down the drain while cleansing my face, I called them up asking if I could possibly get another stud to replace the one that was clearly not placed properly, they told me they cannot do anything about it because they give care instructions after they pierce. Mind you the piercer hadn’t told me any instructions on what to do she hadn’t given me any information all she had asked was if I wanted to buy the spray and hadn’t even told me the slightest info on how often to even use the spray. It was my first time getting a nose piercing done and I payed $85 just to get a secure piercing that doesn’t fall off. Absolutely do not recommend, no instructions or information was given, I was left clueless, worried and upset nothing could be done when I payed extra for the ‘better’ stud

29.12.23@5:20pm Lady named Shandae(excuse spellings if wrong) served us with egoistic/rude attitude, that was horrible customer service. She lied and try to charge $159.95(boxing day price) instead of $99.95 for the Halo’s ceramic hair curler. She might think hair-house warehouse’s customers are fool and not aware of what they buying. Price of curler is $99.95 on site and at other stores too but she tried to charge almost extra 60 dollars from us. And later she was defending herself with ignorance. I went to Epping’s store with the intentions of buying curler as it was out of stock at northland shopping centre but the rude behaviour/service of that lady made me to just walk out by saying her thank you. Please Keep your eyes and mind open when you visit Epping’s hair-house warehouse.

If you want to get a very simple trim, then they are fine, but if you want a nice hair colour and a haircut that requires professional skills, then you better find some other options because you will pay hundreds of dollars for a very unprofessional one. My hair colour was brassy right after she was done and when I told them about it all they did was to try to convince me that it was because of the light! Plus that she left bleach on my hair for more than 2 hours. After a long discussion, they persuaded me to go home with brassy and highly damaged hair and said if I wasn't happy after a few wash I can call and the manager will fix it for me. When I called after a few days they told me she is not available every time I called and I decided to just move on and never go there again.

So after an year of growth, recently I had my hair cut done here. I thought it’ll give my hair a nice shape as I had a lot of new hair growth but this was the most TERRIBLE experience in my life. The blonde girl (not oliveira) cut my hair, clearly not knowing what she was doing. Showed as if she’s an expert. Gave me the worst possible blow wave (honestly my child can do a better job than that) she only combed my hair with a roller brush and blew heat on it. Told me this is a curl, I couldn’t cry or laugh and silently contemplated my decision to come here! Now I have hair with so many fly aways, no layers but hey I have hair chopped hair here and there. My hair look like an abandoned nest! Haircut -100/10, blowdry, -10/100 , hair dye 4/10 DONT GO THERE!!!

Had the worst experience of my life. Got a full head of foils done for $400 and was left with really brassy and badly done foils. The lady who did my foils was extremely rude and had absolutely no sense of dealing with clients. She dint even bother to reply for when I greeted her. Extremely disrespectful, least skilled and arrogant. Even kindergarten kids have better etiquette. On returning back to get the foil job fixed, she had no clue on how to fix it and had put a darker base color on all over my head which made it one color hair that I could have done by myself with a loreal kit for $5. Utter waste of money and time. Please don't bother to go to this place

I give the store 5 star rating because of Tina who works there , She really knows her products and explains everything she is a gem , friendly, bubbly lady. I won't see anyone else. The other girls who work there are friendly and try to help, but I will only go to Tina. My daughter has had her hair done here also for her 18th birthday and the girl who did her did a wonderful job I have had my hair blowaved also and walked out very happy. Thank you Tina for all you help and recommendations on products and thank you to the other girls also

Worst experience with this store! I was recommended a hair product by a staff member, which upon using wasn’t helpful so i rang the store and the staff member asked me to come in with the product and they will refund my money back As i have a 4 month old baby, it was very inconvenient for me to go to the store, somehow i managed to go to the store and the another staff member ( who met me the day i went to the store) refused to refund the money !! I confirmed over the call first then i went there!! Very disappointing!!!!

Have been to this place v bad service. Will never go again. V rude not explaining anything. Charged 78 $ for a haircut ok if the job done properly. Hair washed no conditioner used . When I wanted to hair cut only hairdresser started styling with spiral. Advised not to do it and I came for only haircut. V unprofessional not sure what they are doing. My money is wasted . Ruined my day and I didn't go for my event . I don't recommend anyone to go there .

Rude service, got my girl ear pierced they didnt spray antiseptic on her pierced ear nor give me a bottle charged $60 for regular earnings with no instruction sheet on caring for the new piercing, whereas at northlands hairhouse better service with my girl second piercing they sprayed anticipatic they gave me a bottle, and emailed me care instruction and gave me care instruction sheet only charged my $55 I dont recommend epping hairhouse..

The best I went to Craigieburn to do my ear pierced few days later I was in pain I went to epping and this gorgeous loving Sian gave the best advice and healed my pain away went back and put me better ear piercing and the pain and everything all gone thanks to Sian may god bless you honestly recommend I even got my sister a voucher and she’s so happy with it thanks once again To Sian

My Husband had his ear pierced at Hairhouse Epping with the piercer Sian, after I had my nose done at Plenty Valley with her, he was really impressed, it was quick and he said she knew her products and advised him what size and the best options. We would both have more piercings with Sian - thank you so much for being professional and caring.

I really don't appreciate the staff standing over my shoulder and following me around the store like they thought I would steal something. (I work in retail too, I get it, trust me - everyone is suspicious) but Jesus stand back and let your customers shop in peace. I will not be returning because they honestly made me feel like a criminal :/

Love getting my hair done at the Epping salon. Couldn’t recommend Pre any higher. She listens to what you want and offers great advice. Had my permanent hair straightening done, the result is horrible, far away from being straight, they are more dry, frizzy and curly now. Really not satisfied with the service. Never coming back here. Also, advise not to get it done from this store. Visiting this store is just a waste of money! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER.

nah my girl was shocking haha. feel bad if she was the work experience girl but if so i should've only paid half price. just wanted a short back and sides with a bit longer on top. normally a 15 minute job. took 40 minutes but gave my house mates and the next hair dresser i went and saw the following day a good laugh.

I got my haircut on 14th October, i dont remember the name of stylist but I asked him for bob cut, showed him picture also amd my God he did an amazing job please refer to the photo. He seem non english and newbie so didn't say anything but i regret I should have. Today i went to a different salon and get it fixed

I have shopped here several times and seem to always bag a bargain. On top of the great prices the team have been really helpful in the past. Most recently, my niece had her hair upstyled for her graduation and it looked gorgeous. Will definitely be back in the future to utilise the services and buy more product.

The ladies who looked after me and my sister were just so accommodating and respectful - was a pleasure to be treated by all their staff. We left with new hair do's and uplifted spirits (after a trauma when our house burnt down)- so I can recommend that you can get the most out of their professional attributes

Never going back there again, it was absolutely a rip off for colouring my hair! The result was 200% different from what I asked and showed them and after getting the “treatment” done my hair is totally damaged that I had to cut it too short to get rid of the mess left of my head. I (asian background) had been struggling to find suitable hair products to improve my hair health in Australia and had to source from Korea until I met Lauren and Christina. These two BEST in Retail team are so knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t thank them enough.

Had a hair cut a few days ago and the hair dresser just ruined my keratin treated hair and cut it really short. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The compensation offered was for another treatment instead of a refund where they charged $70 for absolutely nothing.

piercing customer service is horrible, got a hair cut recently and it was amazing, also got a package a while ago to add a gloss on my hair and ended up getting colour, asked the staff to clarify if they were the same thing and got no answer. didn't want colour.

Got my ears pierced for the third time here last year (got infected 2x and have scars on my earlobes) she was able to pierce my ears evenly and avoided the scarring on my earlobes. I am very satisfied as they have healed well and did not get infected this time.

Girls here at this salon are not experienced at all...got my threading done and girl their put a cut in one of the eyebrows plus done a ridiculous blow wave job...kept on pulling the hair so hard as she never knew how to do it and gave me a bad headache...

Staff are friendly until you say your just browsing, and only tell you to buy the most expensive products even when you want a specific item. They really need to be more humanly polite and learn customer service.

Who asks for a Medicare card for a child then requests the fathers name to be on the card when he holds a separate card for ear piercing as if they are a doing a medical procedure you are not a doctors

The piercier told me to put anitbactrial soap on my ears to clean them I had super back reaction no other piercer has ever heard of putting anitbactrial soap on them not very happy
