I’m always very fussy about who I let do my hair and where I go to get it done and I was initially nervous to go to a chain franchise in a shopping centre for my hair a few months ago… but let tell you! The ladies here deliver customer service that is above and beyond outstanding! I’m always greeted so well both in store and over the phone, and as soon as I’m sat in the chair I’m immediately offered either water, tea or coffee. Their demeanours are so lovely and each one of them are great conversationalist that make you forget you’ve been sitting in a chair for 4-5 hours when you’ve got those big appointments. I’d like to in particular thank Amelia for her lovely customer service and professionalism, especially when she was changing out a piercing of mine. And I also love to give a special mention to Mel and Taylor. Mel has been doing hair for I believe 16 years she said today and you can tell she still loves it! She has such passion for what she does and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a colour specialist!! Her apprentice Taylor also worked on my hair and she did and tremendous job! Conversation and customer service was excellent, she was eager to learn, quick to listen to Mel’s guidance and with the the both on them working on my hair it came out absolutely fantastic! I could not be happier with the results!! You can tell the ladies here love their work and have years of experience behind their belts! They’re incredibly knowledgeable and all very talented! Without a doubt worth every cent, and great place to go no matter what services you’re looking for; these ladies will help you out !

So ashamed to walk out of there with my hair!! I paid just over $400 to get my hair cut died and my extension put into my hair ( hair colour was just basic jet black so it wasn’t a difficult colour or anything) Plus I had the Manager do my hair anyway they rushed the job and left me with patches of my regrowth showing and did not blend my hair at all they cut my hair once the Extensions were in my hair and instead of going through it and cutting it she trimmed a little one the front hopping I wouldn’t notice and when I asked to see the back refused to show me and said they didn’t have a mirror for that. Once I got home I knew something wasn’t right anyway I got my friend to take a photo and realised what they had done completely screwed my hair. I went out to a different hairdressers and got it fixed for only $80. Also the refuse to refund me back my $400 or even give me store credit of any type, they told me that I had to wash them and let them adjust to my hair. IVE HAD EXSTENSIONS BEFORE BUT NEVER HAD THEM LOOK THIS BAD TO THE POINT IT WAS THAT BAD !!!! Never will I go back there again after the rude service by the manager herself

Today I had a nice colour, treatment and cut by one of your stylists however there was one part of our conversation that has ruined any chance of me coming back into the salon. My ends were pretty horrible, even I admit that. However, the stylist asked me if I had ever had my hair chemically straightened. I said yes, 11 years ago. But in that time I have also had PLENTY of haircuts. I’ve gone from long hair to extremely short hair which over the years would have seen all of the straightened sections cut off. However, the stylist was adamant that my ends were due to my chemical straightened hair 11 years ago. Now, she didn’t bring up the fact that my ends could be a range of things: Lack of water Change of products Stresses or illnesses Excessive use of heating tools I’m disappointed that none of these other issues were raised with me and the wrong information was provided. I have since sought advice from another hairdresser who had provided more helpful feedback.

Really not impressed with the service received, I booked my daughter in for her 12th birthday speaking to a lady on the phone about what she desired and was told this could be accomplished, I also booked in for 2 different types of piercings. Upon arriving on the day were advised there were no piercings done on Wednesdays only on Fridays unsure why this wasn't originally explained over the phone and was booked for the Wednesday. Unfortunately that was not where the disappointment ended, they explained to my daughter they could do a dark purple in her hair that would be vibrant and visible. A week today after getting it done and most of the color has come out. We have used boxed permanent and wash outs which have lasted longer and provided a better overall coverage. For her first hairdressers appointment I am extremely disappointed in the services received. Also it wouldn't go a stray to offer those getting hair dine and those waiting a warm beverage.

Honestly Hairhouse needs to pick up it's game. The staff are friendly, but essentially inept. Every time I come in there is massive stock shortages and incorrectly labelled products. Last time I came in there was a big "up to 50% off sign" and a bunch of products underneath, none of which had price tags. When I asked a staff member what the prices were, she had to scan each item and manually work out the discount (she struggled with the concept that 50% off meant half of the original price). I am always perplexed by why the register system at your stores seems to be from 1992, as staff struggle to use it every time without fail, almost always bringing out a calculator to assist them. If I wasn't so impulsive I would order my hair products online from another retailer where I know what is available and what the prices are, alas I continue to re-visit Hairhouse because I want my hair dye now.

I have been to this store many times and every time without fail the staff have been rude and tend to snap back when asked a simple question. I felt personally intimidated by one staff member as I was browsing hair colours. she stood to the side with her arms crossed watching my every move after I politely declined any assistance. When I ask for advice from one of the staff members, another staff member will approach me shortly after and then give a very different opinion, almost as like none of the staff actually know anything about hair colour theory... it’s not just this store I have had issues with. Countless times I have asked for advice on a hair colour only to be given the exact opposite after it’s all said and done. It’s a shame I can only get good hair products from here and nowhere else.

I’m really sad leaving one star due to my recent encounter with a new staff member at hairhouse. However the seriousness makes it imperative and I used to be a regular. I won’t be back. While I understand that all individuals have off days, its crucial to maintain professionalism and courtesy, especially in a customer-facing role. I truly hope that my experience leads to positive changes, for future patrons of the salon. It is also important to remember that individual experiences may differ, and it is advisable to approach the salon with an open mind and give them a fair chance as previous staff were always good to me and this was a very new person and others have always been polite and professional. I have been going to Hairhouse Warehouse at Chermside for almost a year now to get my extensions done and I won’t go anywhere else. The first place I got my extensions done was really dodgy so I booked an appointment at Hairhouse Warehouse and everyone there was so lovely and helpful whether I was booking an appointment or just needed hair products. Daree has been doing my extensions and colour and it always seems effortless how perfect she gets it every time. She taught me how to properly care for my extensions and help find the best products suited to me and i’ve never been happier with my hair. I have learned so much from going to this salon and always walk out feeling so good about my hair, 11/10 recommend.

I was really well looked after by Mel and the team today! Mel was so knowledgable and diligent when working with my hair. You could tell she really wanted to put in the extra mile to make everything was *just right*. All of the staff working at the salon were just so friendly, polite and hard-working, and I left feeling like I'd been really pampered. I have felt harshly judged by other salons, and as though everything was an effort. But nothing was too much for this team, and I felt very welcome. I came in with extremely damaged hair and needed a lot of colour correction work, but I left feeling so glamorous! Thank you so much! :)

I came in today for a restyle cut and I was attended to by the most lovely lady. Laura did an absolutely amazing job. She made such an effort to talk me through the process which only made the experience so much more enjoyable as I could fully understand the end goal in which we were going for. She made me feel super comfortable and went all out to ensure I was left with great results. The staff at this establishment were all super lovely as-well and super knowledgeable on all the products in which they are selling. Overall I will 100% be back and I am very excited to try the products Laura has recommended me.

Massive shout out to Jess who pierced my septum she did an amazing job! I’m autistic and she was so patient with me being Sensitive about it and she was happy to answer any questions. After cosmetics plus ruined my nieces tongue we have been on the search for a new piercer and we definitely won’t be choosing anyone else from now on!!! I highly recommend her service she helped me with hair products at first and her energy was so amazing I decided to get a piercing I have no regrets and I’m so in love with it. My hairdresser was Mel at the Westfield Chermside store. She did an absolute amazing job of cutting, colouring and styling my hair. She was very friendly, great conversation, had great recommendations and was very receptive to the style I wanted throughout the service, also needless to say the final result was absolutely stunning- I love it! Overall, all of the staff members were very friendly and genuinely looked like they enjoyed working there. Will defintely being go back again!

I had the best experience there. I went in to donate my hair. Sarah was so wonderful. While it was a big shock going from really long hair to short. Sarah talked me through it. Gave me a haircut I really love. Sarah was so professional. Clearly really good at her career and was an absolutely joy to talk to. I've been shopping with Anthea and her team at Hairhouse Chermside for several months now. The reason I keep going back is due to the girls having fantastic customer service skills and excpeptional product knowledge. Anthea has encouraged me to try new hair care products a few times now and I haven't been disappointed once. I love the offers that pop up from time to time and the loyalty rewards system is great! Rudest. Staff. Ever. Went in there to get some advice on stripping the yellow tones out of my hair and a girl with long dark brown and purple hair was so salty. I admitted I didn’t know much about colouring hair and she was so unhelpful and rude. Went straight to their competitor and spent money there purely because I couldn’t justify giving hair house money.

Drove 2 hours to find they were out of stock of my hair colour. I tried to order online but found the website wasn't user friendly, and most of the products couldn't be sent by mail. Staff looked in stock for my hair colour but didn't have it. Rather than apologise, they tried to flog off a $20 curling iron. I won't use Browns Plains store again.

So I got my hair bleached and coloured here probably 5 days ago and while she was straightening my hair it was actually frying, she was also very rough washing and ripped my hair out brushing it. I’m now left with patchy colouring and fried/ split ends. Wish I could get my money back cause I am so unhappy with my hair and it’s destroyed.

I love going to the hairdressers and have got blowouts for many years. I am always greeted by lovely staff who make my little son and I very welcome. When I need products the staff are always very informative and incredibly helpful. Their recommendations have helped me greatly over the years to maintain my blonde hair. Highly recommend!

I've had two style cuts since Toombul store unfortunately closed. Both Mel and Sarah have cut and styled my hair to absolute perfecttion! Came in to grab new thermal protection spray and the lovely ladies at this store gave me some amazing advice on products for my current hair, turns out I was using the wrong things and my hair has never felt better. So professional and knowledgeable, these absolutely magical ladies blew me away and gave me a new lease on life!

The staff here are absolutely incredible ! They go above and beyond in terms of service and will answer any questions you have, especially when you’re me and don’t know much about hair ! I especially adore Natalie, her knowledge and kindness is incomparable, couldn’t recommend enough!

Lovely staff, excellent service in salon & shop front. However the Matrix colour range never really worked for my blonde hair. A real shame! I'd love to come back to the salon if you ever change to a better colour product
