Working and managing stores in this centre for many years and now in higher sales roles outside of the area. I know how important NPS surveys and google reviews are. Reading the other reviews I can see how many people have truly made a review upon the staffs attitude. My partner had a belly piercing done here and it then decided to reject which could just be her body. However she went to the Chadstone store and they very clearly mentioned that the piercing was done wrong or placed wrong and directed her to come back to the Fountain Gate store to get a refund or to get it redone as compensation once healed. When we arrived at the store, the store manager gave a lot of negative energy and told her that they could not do anything and that what ever happened to her body is not their fault and they don’t care. Even if it could be her body we didn’t argue that but instead she kept saying they don’t care and that it’s her fault. Just completely put her down. Didn’t recommend or give any advice that would instead help. If you are looking at getting a piercing done I’d highly recommend going else where as these stores suggest two different thing when one tells you that it isn’t the customers fault and that something was done wrong by the store and the other says they don’t care about their customers. I’ve shopped here for a while and so has my partner and we won’t return. I’ve had much better service at other locations at Fountain Gate over the last 5 years. Atleast the Chadstone store couldn’t recognise the issue and told us a resolution with some great advice on what our next strips should be. Update: no further help was given by the team that I emailed as per request, just a “sorry” and found that the manager was “sorry” for the experience and we got told to contact her ourselves when we were treated terribly last time. No real apology and nothing to help at all. Customer service was poor, even when talking to the agent I just asked what is the outcome and spoke in a calm matter and said to contact the manager for a chat and closed the case. Have images of all the emails sent back and fourth mine and theirs with terrible responses that were unhelpful.

The hairdresser at fountain gate VIC turned to her colleague and made a rude gesture towards me with her eyes as I was reaching for my phone thinking I wouldn't see, she was impatient and raised her voice with frustration, very unprofessional considering I was softly spoken and kind in the way I delivered my queries... Appalling customer service. I asked for curtain bangs and she gave me regular straight bangs. Curtain bangs are blowaved and sit curled up to the side. I assumed all professional hair dressers knew clearly not...it's better to pay a bit more and go to a more professional salon. This school yard behaviour is NOT ok way to engage with customers. She didn't even take the time to measure and part my hair properly to ensure she was cutting the full fringe section evenly. My right side fringe is significantly bulkier than the left side, yes the part is in the middle and yes that's how she said she'd cut it, I just noticed this the following day if I'd noticed yesterday I would have demanded a refund I'm FURIOUS that shes meant to be a professional hairdresser yet what I walked away with is laughable. Another hairdresser at the salon looked at me and smirked, I'm not sure what she was thinking if she was smirking at me or how bad my hair looked. This salon just wants to take your money and doesn't care about understanding the customer and what their expectations are

This may seem like some what of a weird review in some parts but... 1. The store. I asked one of the girls who help ( sorry I don't remember your name....) but I explained to her that Im TRYING to avoid found silver grey tones cos I heep naturally being drawn to them be aiaw I've had. Silver hair before and I was behind to stay like a nice peal colour but no idea what toner shampoo to use in between proper toners. And she was amazing help and told to mix rosewood with a weak purple. And it's worked so well once I got the dilutions right.. Did rock pink hair for a bit... But it. Still. Looked cool. 2. Salon I originally came in just to get some. Of my tape extentions put back in. And Elise put them in perfectly for me. She also suggest I should gone my regrowth darker for a better blend.... So I trusted bed judgement and we did it... And it's so so so much begged and now... Im sticking with it and Elise. And im grateful for her advice But she also gave me mad advice on how to fix my scuffed up d favourite boots that I love... And it worked and it's so great! So thanks

I got my tragus pierced 3 weeks ago, I paid extra for the fashion style jewellery. Now since then i have been back 3 times because of the piercing coming undone , when trying to tighten it it wouldn’t screw in as if it was threaded but the piercers would put it in and advice me to be careful, within 10 hours it’s come undone again. Since having it pierced I have had the jewellery I paid extra because of style in my ear for 3 days because it falls out and won’t tighten. Tonight was my last visit as after waiting for managers approval they said they would replace the piercing just for me to request the same as I purchased originally and be told I will have to pay for my replacement ? Needing to pay for a replaced faulty piercing? This is shocking customer service!! I am extremely disappointed. I spent $160-$180 on 2 ear piercings the first day I went in just for them to refuse any responsibility. I will never return here!!

The staff here are alright - they can answer some questions and suggest products but their attitudes are always terrible. One girl suggested I should just dye all my hair back to brown rather than fix my highlights. She also grabbed my head/hair when explaining something to me without my permission. I don't know why she thought she had the right to touch me when any other retail worker definitely wouldn't. Ended up getting the dye I wanted in the first place and it turned out perfect. I'm always open to ideas which is why I asked the staff here for help, but what's the point if they'll just tell you your hair is unfixable and refuse to give proper advice? Do your own research before coming here for help.

Understaffed store. Staff made an effort to help me out with piercing jewellery but were not knowledgeable, so kindly referred me to the piercer. The piercer was unfortunately unhelpful, asked me how old my piercing was, (it’s over a year and a half old) and said it doesn’t look healed and wouldn’t sell me the jewellery. I wasn’t even asking for her to change it out, I just wanted to purchase a titanium ring. She immediately rushed to the next customer. I understand you guys are busy, but especially in Nov - Dec it’s helpful to have more staff on if you can’t help everyone! Thank you to the staff that did acknowledge me and did their best.

This morning I was desperate to colour correct an utterly disastrous colouring experience my daughter had yesterday at a local salon. She requested pastel pink and ended up with a fluro pink and orange splotchy, bleached and damaged mess. The team at Hairhouse understood, empathised with me and consulted each other to ensure I could restore her hair to a light brown. 5 hours later and her hair is even more beautiful than it was before she ever had it coloured. She is feeling confident again and definitely able to front up to her first week at Uni. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who helped this morning. If I could give you 10 stars, I would.

I want to thank Steph for helping me out on Sunday 11/10/15 (level 2 salon). She was really terrific. I had been to another salon on Saturday afternoon to have my hair done before going on holidays. Foils, regrowth, base colour and trim - it was a disaster to say the least. So I went to Fountain Gate as soon as they opened on Sunday to see if anyone could help me out?!! Steph was my hairdresser - she was so helpful and fixed my hair, couldn't believe how different I looked when I walked out. No customer service at all, purchased a product needed to swap cause i got the wrong item was unopened unused and only had it a couple of days.the refused to exchange with a bank statement i have never been refused from any store with this form of proof of purchase they were so caught up with silly policy that they lost a bigger spend instore and a customer. I understand in retail there are some annoying red tape that managment put in place but if you call HO its no longer an issue, next time try a little harder to help instead trying to hide behind some ridiculos policy.

Very impatient staff , could clearly see one of the student workers talking about us and not in any nice way. Rudely speaking to my mum and English is her second language so my mum couldn't understand what they were saying too much . The student worker raised her voice at my 3 year old sister too , the disrespect was a whole different level , horrible customer service for the price they try getting us to pay. Not worth your time , take yourself to another hair salon to whoever is contemplating getting your hair done with them.

Christina is AMAZING!! She did such a wonderful job on the highlights in my hair for a second time, she was very helpful when I came in for my first appointment at Hairhouse Warehouse, when I asked questions, she was very supportive in providing me with a colour and hairstyle I’d be happy with. I could not recommend her services enough, she is a lovely friendly face to have a chat to, while she does a FABULOUS job transforming your hair! Had to wait a while to be served for my booking as they were quite busy this morning. 1) the hair wash was nice except for having water in my ears and trickling down my face. 2) Christine, I think that's her name - she was quite rough with the blow dryer and kept hitting my head with it, at one point I even put my hand over my forehead so she didn't leave a bruise on me because it kept hitting the same spot over and over again. The end result was nice though. Thank you.

I’ve had the hair cut one month before. She just made my hairs in that way so I couldn’t find any difference in my hairs but after that i washed my hairs at home.. i get to find it that she just messed with my hairs. My hairs aren’t looking even .. its jus looks zig zag.. so she didnt cut my hairs properly and charged 92$ for that . That so much money for that bad hair cut. But no comments I couldn’t made it to go back and show them my hairs after hair cut.

Very disappointed with their services. The lady who washed my hairs was so rude and pulled my hairs badly !!! Within 4 minutes she washed my hairs!! OMG !! How could you do that. Please don’t do this work if you don’t have any knowledge. People come to you to get relax and nice time and what you guys do ?? Pulling up their hairs !! So annoying!! It gave me really bad headache. First understand the meaning of hairdresser and then do the work !!! Thank you

This store and it’s staff are amazing! I bought a hair straightener - which worked perfectly - but a bit squeaky! - returned to the store to see what I should do - I thought they might offer advice to repair the squeak - but was offered a full replacement! Chrissy was so helpful and was able to offer me a quicker replacement when the one I wanted wasn’t available. Thank you so much Chrissy and the team, very happy shopper.

Thank you to the lovely Isha at Fountain Gate store. Isha, helped me pick out the rite colours for my daughters hair. She listened to what our ideas were and knew exactly what we needed. Helped me out with instructions and times. My daughter is so happy with the outcome and now trust's me to foil and colour her hair in the future. I have attached a before and after. Absolute 10/10 service from I believe her name was Chloe. I came in not too sure what I was after, and she made the experience so easy and was very welcoming. Chloe is knowledgeable and was more than happy to explain the details to somebody like myself who doesn’t know much about the products. What a great friendly team! Also, I tried the hair damage repair stuff she recommended, and it’s amazing! <3

I had Alicia from the Fountain Gate store do my hair for my brother's wedding, and she was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to achieve the look I wanted. She perfected the look I wanted and the hairstyle lasted the entire time. I am so grateful to have found Alicia and to have someone that I can rely and trust if I need to do a hairstyle for next time. I highly recommend her, and thank you Alicia!

Damaged and ruined my hair. When I went back to their staff Alisha and the other lady were extremely rude. I would never go back to that salon. Not only wasted my money, I will have to pay $280 out of my pocket to fix the so called treatment they did to my hair. They use cheap colours and product to make money. Don't trust them. Also if I saw these horrible reviews I would have never booked them.

The owner of this store is the rudest pig I have ever met. Speaks to staff and customers rudely. The staff are friendly and courteous but every time you go in there they give you conflicting advice. One week they say you need a certain product, next week they say 'oh no I wouldn't use that. You need this" I would prefer to drive 30km to another store than support the owner of this store

I'll never go anywhere else!!! Charlotte is amazing listened to my concerns and assured me I'll leave happy.... my hair was so fizzy and curly and after multiple disappointed experienced( elsewhere) I gave up hope but I left feeling so happy and finally straight hair ready for my night out ( not to mention amazing hospitality) Charlotte you have a life long customer on you hands!!!

I found hairhouse warehouse to be very helpful polite kind and gave you time to look around and then come to serve you which I find very nice as this gave me some time for myself to look for anti frizz shampoo,conditioner and leave in spray which I found to be really good as it not only washed conditioned and got rid of the frizz in my hairit also softened hair as well.

I have been going here for years and would not go anywhere else. Elise is the best hairdresser and she does an amazing job :) All the ladies there are friendly, helpful, kind, listen to what you want and they all give an amazing service that you are happy when you leave and wanting to come back. Highly recommend if you are looking for great staff with high quality work.

Worst customer service both times I’ve been here. Not helpful with recommending products, seemed a bit clueless when I asked about a specific product in stock. And my partner wanted to return a hairbrush he bought me, and the lady said they couldn’t swap or do a refund AND IT WAS STILL PACKAGED AND UNUSED. Ridiculous. Hairhouse in Dandy allow it, why don’t you? Smh.

I had a hair cut booked for today at 6pm with Maddy. And while the cost of going to hairhouse warehouse is a little pricey it's worth it. I am loving my new haircut and I really appreciated Maddy checking in to make sure I was comfortable and I enjoyed that Maddy seemed to really care about the health of my hair. I am just really pleased with the overall service

I was accidentally given incorrect information by a staff member here, after trying to use the products I had purchased and them not working I called and talked to Connie who was wonderful in helping me out and in swapping out the products I had bought and used to give me ones that would work for my hair and many desired outcome. I can highly recommend them!!!

Hit and miss. Kya is my favourite hairdresser there. Perfect haircuts every single time and she is a sweetheart. I have had my hair cut by other hairdressers there and did not have the same experience. The last straw was when they cut my fringe uneven and when I went back and asked for it to be fixed, the hairdresser was very dismissive and unapologetic.

Great experience at Hairhouse Fountain Gate. I got my septum and belly button pierced by Chloe. She was amazing! Chloe explained everything to me and was extremely gentle and professional. She made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole experience. I’d definitely recommend her and will see her again for more piercings in the future.

I had a fantastic experience today at Hairhouse. The lovely Lady that served me was so helpful. I was only going to buy some shampoo but ended up spending so much more! She knew her products and also helped me with shampoo for my kids. I often go to Hairhouse and always receive fantastic service and today was excellent! Thank you.

What I like about this place is that the staff are honest. If they think a product isn't that good or there's a better one in their store than the one I'm interested in (even if it's cheaper), they'll let me know and don't lie if they think something isn't that good. They're super friendly and have a good sense of humour too.

Extremely upset with mine and my daughters hair, paid $540 for a service that wasn’t what we asked for, didn’t even cover my grey roots which was what i went in for, I tried to resolve this without leaving a bad review but all they did was apologise, it was alot of money to start with. I definitely won’t be going back there

So I went in today which appointment were made for 11.30 am. The team was fabulous from start to finish. I had my hair done with Christina who was simply amazing from the get go. She has great customer service skills which is always appreciated and understood exactly what I was looking for :) Happy returning customer

Asked for a textured spray for curls. The one I normally get was out of stock. Instead I was sold a dry shampoo- really not impressed because that’s not what I asked for obviously the sales lady did not read the label properly before giving it to me. Why do I have to triple check everything? Really annoyed.

Did the complete opposite of what I asked and potentially ruined my already blonde hair by making it dark grey when I asked for silver blonde. Claimed I asked for this colour when I didn’t I even gave a photo of what I wanted and now my hair is probably damaged and will not go lighter without damage

I used Hairhouse hairdresser for the first time for mine and my daughters hair for my graduation and Alicia did my hair the best ever! Usually it takes hours for hairdressers to get my thick curly hair straight and shiny and Alicia did it in less than hour with wash I'll be back!!! …

No customer service and very pushy to sell you products with no patience to listen and the shampoo and conditioner prescribed and I bought for 50 dollars didn't do any good but dried my hair. On top of that the hairdresser washed and blew dry my hair in a way a beginner would do better.

I went in to have my 5 month old daughter’s earrings changed to sleepers from the original earrings. The staff were very welcoming and Chloe assisted us and changed my daughter’s earrings, she was very gentle and engaged great with my baby. Would definitely go back again to see her

Racist and pretentious manager. Walked in with my partner to search for a hair styling wax and in the midst of it that girl says "You wanna take it out of your bag?" I was so insulted. Tell me how is this customer service? Very very unacceptable TURN THE OTHER WAY.

Horrible. The woman was absolutely pretentious and literally said she wouldn't sell me the product even when I said I don't care if it doesn't work she refuse to sell me a hair dye saying "we don't sell to people with damaged hair". Awful won't be returning again

Alicia and the apprentice charlotte did such an amazing job with my hair and went above and beyond to achieve what I wanted! I am absolutely happy with my hair! Couldn’t fault the service one bit! You girls are amazing and will be recommending them to everyone!

My sister just spent $340 to come home with blue hair and then got it re done for free pretty much turning it brown. Absolutely appalling she even paid and I suggest a refund and tell anyone thinking of getting their blonde hair tended to here to go elsewhere

I went in wanting to purchase just a basic shower cap. I had one in my hand and asked is this the only shower cap you have and the response back was ‘pretty much’. Got home and opened it up only to find I had paid just over $7 on a tipping cap. Not impressed!

I had couple of piercings today with KRITIKA and it was the best experience, she was super helpful with the entire experience. She took her time & was also extremely precise with the placement of the earrings. Thank you Kritika i will be back for sure Edwin.

Three staff on - all with a customer - each walked past me, saw I was waiting (had been for some time) and didn’t acknowledge I was there (can’t miss a big lady). I think a simple ‘hi we’ll be with your shortly’ would make it more customer-friendly.

WOW what a great place! My daughters Hair turned out AMAZING! The blonde highlights look so pretty. We were so happy meeting the Manager Maddie as she offered a lot of advice on how to care for her hair. This is 100% our go to place from now on!

They butchered my hair and left me with thick uneven choppy layers. I had to go to another hairdresser to get the layers fixed and even more hair cut off. The lady also kept leaving for ages to serve people so I was left sitting there.

I have been to this place before for ear piecing. Before everything was fine, they didn't ask for Medicare, but now they are asking for Medicare. Please, if you don't have Medicare, then this place is not for you.

Bad piecing experience. The piercer pierced my ear too close to the edge, and now there's a "V" chunk of my ear missing and no hole to put jewellery in (forward helix). Visit was on 7th Feb 2021.
