While travelling from Johannesburg to Durban on 16 June 2016, at the Mooi River Toll after paying the toll fee My Toyota Verso refused to engage into gear. I suspected the clutch was not functional, extremely surprised as the car was recently serviced by Rivonia Toyota. A check list including “check the clutch” and brakes was handed to the workshop. A feedback was given on the brakes BUT not the clutch. I was told that the car was in very good condition. So, travelling with me (a female senior citizen) was my daughter and her two pre-school going children and while waiting for the Tow-truck at the side of the road at the Mooi River Toll to arrive, we were mugged by thugs and robbed of our belongings ( 9.30am.) Fortunately, I had just spoken to Mr. Suresh Sewbaran of Halfway Malanda Toyota. The purchase of the vehicle, the past services and while living in Durban was attended by Halfway Malanda. The vehicle was towed to their workshop. In my pass - before relocation to JHB - my dealing with Mr. Suresh Sewbaran and staff of Halfway Malanda Toyota has been an extremely gratifying experience, with many trouble free road trips over the years in Southern African while my children turned adults. I compliment Mr Sewbaran for conducting an extraordinary high standard of good business practice and professional code of ethical behaviour. However, my car was attended to and what a pleasure while driving back home to JHB. I could “FEEL” the difference. On the flip side, it’s would be a pleasant experience and great customer service if other Toyota Representatives conducted such remarkable business practice. After my many satisfied years of being a happy customer and after this weeks’ unpleasant experience, I believe it is only right for me to place on record my thoughts. “A 10 stars rating.” Once Again I Thank You most sincerely. We visit this local service station at least once a week and it really is that - a great service station. Friendly staff who greet with a smile, a clean shop to grab basics that are not overpriced and lovely, fresh takeaways and doughnuts. I'm extremely impressed with Halfway Malanda's well-controlled queues and dealing with anxious people during the dreadful week of shortages following the riots and looting. It was also a great comfort to see our community members protecting and guarding these local assets. Well done!

The service rendered from this dealership was excellent. It's is a small little dealer however their customer service...friendliness and passion to make customers happy was amazing. A special thanks to Creselda from the service department who made sure my vehicle was attended to while i waited. They don't have a waiting lounge but the made sure they arranged space for me to work while I waited. Really a great team. I drove all the way from umhlanga to umkomass for their service and have no regrets.

Clean , organised. Welcoming. Great staff. All the staff there from management to back office,frontline and workshop are amazing. This team will make sure they cater for your needed car and service. They are more like family. This place also has a Bp garage on the premises and a convinient shop attached to the garage. If you are doing a long trip you can get quick snacks and coffee there and it's close to the Umkomaas beach.

I bought a used vehicle from the dealership 3 months ago only to find out they sold me a vehicle with a clutch problem and the salesman wanted to pin this problem onto me. How can a clutch plate burn out in 3 months till to date no one has helped me so I'll have to fix the car from my pocket so be really careful when buying from this dealership. I'm so disappointed at the service I got form this garage

Popped in at this garage in the pouring rain because there were dashboard lights flashing that I have never seen before. The guys at the workshop were fantastic and fixed the problem in minutes. They said it was such a minor thing that they didn't charge me. Superb service. The petrol attendants are always friendly, as are the staff in the well-stocked Freshstop.

Although small , they have an extensive amount of vehicles onsite . Very helpful, customer lounge is equipped with chairs , tables , tv and a hot drinks dispenser . The manager is available for one on one discussions and for making gr8 deals . I'm happy with the service and understanding from them of what we wanted and within our budget .

We had trouble with the wheel bearings on our trailer after a fishing comp we had in Umkomaas and were on our way back to East London. Toyota were very helpful, took the tyres off for us, we then went and found the correct beatings, installed them and put the tyres back. Thank you very much!

Very poor service from the Parts department. I purchased a tail light for my car. My car has an Amber tail light but they supplied me with a white tail light and are refusing to supply me with the original colour. Now my car looks ridiculous with 2 different indicator coloured lights.

Friendly good range of products but leaving the facility a nightmare because of poor parking arrangement. If someone is filling fuel on the first bay you are obstructed on leaving if u are parked in the parking bay adjacent to to the store.
