This surgery is the best in the country, for starters the Doctord are the best GP's you will find and to say you are in safe hands is a serious understatement. You are treated to an abundance of empathy, care, understanding, time, support and of course the best of medical care. You are told that if you are kept waiting it's because they give the patient the time they need as they would too. Children and elderly are priority but as a human being if you see somone in distress you'd give up your place if dont well the surgery will make that decision for you. Apart from all that the Hampson surgery has amazing back room staff who keep this engine well oiled they are amazing. I've been going here since I was a boy in 1975 as were my parents now my son is a patient. Like our family we've handed down our GP preference to our family members as the Hampson Surgery has handed down this practice from father to son and daughter to granddaughter and all had & have the same caring nature. At the same time they do not suffer fools do not waste their time it is too valuable to waste and more deserving people needed their time. 42 year coming here and they've kept me going. My late Father got an extra 15 years if a good quality of life, my 84 year old mum is a triumph of living your fullest in great health my son and myself are too in great health thanks to the support of Hampson Surgery. Seriously though you would not bring your car to a bad mechanic why go to a bad practice. It's a pity Hampson Surgery can't fix cars too wouldn't that be a great idea an NCT for both you and your car. Preventative medicine is the best get checked regularly not just when you are sick. Dr Aidan Hampston and now his family have been GPs to 3 generations of my family for 30 plus years (my parents, siblings, myself, husband and baby daughter until I moved away). This includes me as teen, adult and mother. He cared for both my parents with succh respect and dignity when they were diagnoised with terminal cancer - 4 years apart. The ladies at the reception desk could not do enough for us and dealth with the every changing prescriptions requests from the wonderful hospice home care team without a problem. I had the privilge of accompanying both of parents many times in their later years and watched as he greeted them like old friends and guided them seperatly through their illess at their pace, being led by them. Trust me they were both very very different !! One tell me everthing the other I dont want to now and will never speak atout it. :-) A true gentleman and excellent GP. I also met this daughter a number of times , the other Dr Hampston who is also brilliant.

I have been a patient here for almost 30 years. I absolutely love this practice. Everyone from the ladies at reception, nurse and Doctors are very welcoming,always friendly, kind and sincere. I ring for an emergency appointment for myself or one of my children and we are always welcomed. There might be a little wait but we have never been turned away. I have heard so many stories from friends having to wait days for an appointment with their own GP. We are very happy to be patients of this practice. I completely recommend 100 percent.

Brought my mother to the surgery this evening for her first covid vaccine. Very welcoming and happy atmosphere with the balloons and flowers. Great teamwork from all the staff in their various roles. Well done guys.

Have been a patient of Dr Hampson for a very long time, and you would seriously have to go to the man (upstairs) to be treated better front of house are always brilliant too.

If someone moved in area and looking for GP, they not taking them .. by law you can be refused straight away?

They may be good... not sure but they are not taking any new patients.
