Customer service needs improvement; staff forgot about our order I’ve loved the desserts here since they were a smaller shop in the other part of the centre. I’ve been back ~3 times since their relocation and I have found the service to be quite slow - not surprising since a bigger location means more traffic and its good to see they are growing. Unfortunately, when I dined in yesterday they had forgotten about our order and it was only until I enquired after 25mins of waiting at the table did they start making our food. ——————— I ordered at the counter and the server who took my order alerted her coworker to the order ticket and pointed to the table we were going to sit at. It was late afternoon, so it was a little busy when we arrived but most people were halfway into their food/drinks. After 20mins of waiting (I checked the time stamp of when I paid in my banking app) the place became half empty as other customers had finished up. I could see the front staff cleaning and washing dishes, however, I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they might’ve been making our desserts at the back. I asked the front counter for table water. The same server who took my order brought cups to the table. I found it strange that she didn’t ask if we were waiting on anything given the table was clear so I trusted our orders were on the way. It wasn't until another group came in and I saw the staff start making their orders immediately, that I went up and enquired about our orders. It was clear they had forgotten about it and they asked what we had gotten and apologised. After 40mins of waiting (and being overlooked), our orders were brought to us - we got the ube leche flan sundae and ube sago parfait. The sundae is my go to and it was great. The sago parfait was a little plain as the ice took away a lot of the flavour. Overall, the experience was disheartening and I believe the staff should work on their table service - at the very least, check-in when they notice no food on the table after 20minutes. I understand people make mistakes and if the staff had followed up and realised the mistake on their own I probably wouldn’t feel compelled to leave this review. I don’t believe the onus should be on the customer to follow up on forgotten orders. I hope this review gives management the opportunity to improve. I’d like to give this place another shot as the desserts are really good (the food is a little average though).

Cakes - Having multiple birthdays in April, we ordered multiple cakes since 2020. We love how hannah put all the effort and love to her craft. She goes over and beyond to make sure her cakes are beautiful at the same time delicious. We love the pastillas cake! Not too sweet and has the right balance of sweet and saltiness! :) Price - All her cakes are reasonably priced and she is willing to ask for the budget and work around it. Cafe - always coming back for all her ensaymadas and Sundaes. Love the balance of sweetness with a little bit of saltiness. Her ensaymadas are so yum and comparable to Mary Grace in the Philippines, would love to see “chocolate de batirol” paired with her ensaymadas as well as cheese rolls. My fave flavours are Polvoron, ube and the OG. Aside from ensaymadas they have a variety of other small cakes and pastries. :) Get here lunch time to get most of the breads as they run out fast late in the afternoon. Thank you Hannah! Cakes are simply delightful! I ordered 2 cakes from them for my son's birthday and needless to say, they were both big hits! I ordered the Chocolate Truffle as a main birthday cake, which was not too sweet, moist and chocolatey. I also ordered a secondary cake for my non-Filo guests to try, the Classic Ube, which everyone absolutely loved and raved about, both young, middle aged, and old! Lol A lot of people asked for cake takeaway which is not a normal thing that happens in Aussie parties...haha Their service is excellent as well as I ordered the cakes 6 days before our party and finalised 5 days before, but they happily and courteously accommodated us! We will definitely be ordering our celebration cakes in the future! Thank you you much Hannah for being part of our celebration! Can't wait for another excuse to order your cakes. Definitely looking forward to trying all the flavors!

Don’t try their silvanas — you’ll get addicted to it — they’re sooo good!! I’ve been a fan since 2020 and my family and I had to visit their new shop/cafe soon after they opened. It’s very inspiring to witness how Hanmade’s has grown and expanded. They have very friendly staff too, so it was also nice to see how they’ve transitioned from takeaway only to a sit down cafe setting. And the ube latte… amazing! It’s a lot richer than taro latte, which I really really liked. I also love the creativity with putting a Filipino twist to typical cafe food: e.g. benetocino (eggs benedict but with tocino), crispy pork belly (lechon kawali) rice bowl, etc., although, the lechon kawali was not as crispy as I hoped but it was still a beautiful dish with the salad, rice and even atchara and vinegar sauce. Keep it up Hanmade’s!

I go 5 stars for Silvana and the sweet service people have there, but I didn’t come just for the service, morning coffee is my kickstart for the day but the coffee lets me down.. it was less than 50 degree hot, was not creamy, and didn’t taste the coffee in it. I highly doubt if that was even oat milk coz thats what ive ordered. I came here last time for the same order, and it was okay, so I thought why not try again… big mistake. The one who made my coffee on that Sunday morning was a very young girl, maybe have very less experience in making coffee. Just remember, anyone can say they can make coffees, but it is important for the business to find someone who can’t just make coffee, but can actually make good or exceptional coffee….

Amazing every single time! I first contacted Hannah to make a cake for our engagement party way back in 2019. The hazelnut sans rival she made was so unique and delicious, it was the talk of the party! We were so impressed that family and I have been back to her at Eastern Creek Quarter numerous times and have never been disappointed. We love her baking so much we even asked her bake our Wedding cake in 2020! She has also been amazing and patient with all the covid delays and changes. Again the cake was a mega hit when the wedding finally happened in 2022! Can't recommend Hannah and her amazing bakehouse enough!

This cafe is aesthetically pleasing and serving up some of the cutest and most delicious asian desserts around! I ordered the pandan coconut mamon $3.5 and the ube flan cupcake $5.8 and they were so delicious. The cupcake was the best cupcake I’ve had in ages, solid ube flavour and so much delicious buttercream. The mamon had a strong coconut flavour with a pretty strong hint of pandan. My only regret was not getting more!!

Our family is a proud supporter of Hanmade’s Bakehouse. Hannah always makes you feel welcome and is ready to greet you with a warm smile which is much like the delicious cakes she and her hardworking team bake each day. My daughter was visiting Sydney from Qld to celebrate her birthday and Hannah made a wonderful chocolate cake at short notice which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone- keep up the great baking and yummy treats ! I would highly recommend Hanmade’s Bakehouse for anyone with a sweet tooth and enjoys quality cakes with exceptional service!

I ordered about 350 silvanas for my wedding favours earlier this year in Feb, Hannah was super lovely and accomodating even when there was a little mix-up with the pickup date, she still managed as well as her team to finish them in time and even offered to drop it off to my reception venue due to time constraints. I love Hanmade's cakes. First one I have was the Leche Flan lava brulee I ordered for Christmas. It was divine! The presentation was lovely, and when I sliced the cake, the layering was perfect and I love the outside of the cake- it has been covered with butter crumbs I believed. Next cake I ordered was the Ube Yema, it was a hit! My partner loves it, t'was not too sweet. The combination of yema and ube is so lovely and there was sprinkles of grated cheese which is a bit salty that balance the overall flavour.

I love this place! To be honest I never paid attention when they were located outside in the food court. Now I come in each week for a coffee and little sweet a treat or lunch with my mum. The cakes are fresh every time, light and fluffy. The Chicken sandwich is amazing also! The staff are friendly, I would say the only thing that lets you down is waiting for coffees to arrive. Service seems a little disorganised at times but knowing it is a new location with more staff I am sure that will improve.

The dream cake for my daughters first bday smashed that I explicitly asked was absolutely stunning. Obsessed on how it turned out great in the photography session. We will cherished it forever as seeing on how my daughter reacted when eating and enjoying the cake very much.

Very disappointed this time around, we always order Yema Polvoron sundae and it has always tasted amazing. This time around it felt like we got served 90% soft serve in a big plastic cup. Also, felt bad for the staff working in the store as the air conditioning was off with the temperature outside almost touching 35 degrees, it felt like 40 degrees in the store. These were really bad conditions for the staff to work in on a hot Sunday afternoon. Don’t think we will be coming back here.

Ordered a large quantity of cupcakes for my workplace and I have not stopped receiving messages about them. Even some of the most reserved people at work have been hunting me down for the name of the bakery. Hope you receive even more business. I've dined in as well to sus out the place before ordering and the staff are incredibly friendly. Food and coffee are amazing.

This place is my new favourite spot! Went with hubby a couple of weeks ago for the first time and we loved it. Great coffee, delicious iced chai latte and the cakes!!! OMG they know how to make yummy treats! Went for brunch and work yesterday morning and had a bacon and egg sandwich, it was really good! The place itself is so beautifully presented. Highly recommend. The food along with the customer service is 10/10 fantastic. Open to accomodating the needs and questions of a customer and deliver high quality products. Not to mention also an interesting, yet yummy modern twist on filipino desserts! I always go back for their silvana's and mamons and they are now my local go-to for cakes and custom made cakes for birthdays, baby showers, any occasion! If you have a sweet tooth, this place is worth a try.

My family enjoyed the Ube Yema cake it was fluffy not dense, fresh, moist and had the right amount of sweetness that you can go back for seconds. It was delicious. One star left out as the cupcakes were dry, only thing that made it good was the stuffing of topping inside. My family enjoyed this cake more compared to Tita's cakes. Thanks Hannah. We'll be back next time were in Sydney. I got the cake door delivered and it was intact, good service.

Hannah was so lovely to deal with! I ordered a cake through her for my 30th birthday and she was very responsive via phone and was able to answer all my questions and cater to my requests! I ordered a custom birthday cake with a Hamilton theme and gave a photo for inspiration - the cake design was perfect. Ordered about 30 silvanas for a birthday on a whim without trying them and was not disappointed! Han also kept them cold in the freezer for me while i went shopping and enjoyed the Yema Sundae. Would love to see them introduce different seasonal flavours while keeping the favourites. Definitely coming back again.

The shop specializes in Filipino cakes and deserts and the food is very good .The staff are friendly and the shop is very clean and tidy you've got to try their cappucino is very good and the cinnamon scrolls and the Ube cake and the ice cream sandwich . Its all good a little expensive but very fresh and good .

Truly love Hanmade's Bakehouse! Everything looks and tastes fantastic and the staff are really friendly. Our favourite would have to be the leche flan mamon but you really can't go wrong with anything from there - they're all delicious. Love this cafe in ECQ. Very light, fresh pink and green interiors. Their food is great, too. Would usually go for cupcakes and mamon but they also have breads, sans rival, flavourful sundaes, and their famous icecream sandwich. They also have preorder for whole cakes.

Amazing selection of Filipino sweets, the silvanas are amazing! The ube and the Sansrival cakes are delicious. Hannah is very professional in helping choose a cake as well as the organising the payment and the creation of any custom additions to the cake.

On their website, it says "We always have a variety of cakes available in the store but the flavours will vary daily" but when I went there they told me I have to pre order. They don't have a phone number to contact. Long drive for nothing

A small shop front nestled amongst others, in the kids play area food court. The cookie sundae (as per pic) was $14 and delish, with layers of caramel, icecream and cream with crushed biscuit. Definitely something special, not an everyday dessert.

Hannah was so helpful from initial contact providing options very quickly. Hannah helped share a beer design which was perfect for the celebrant and ube Macapuno flavour. It looked fantastic and tasted even better and was a hit with our guests.

Update - customer service is a bit slow. They are slow to clean the mess left on tables. Other - I highly recommend the mamons with ube. And the Sunday with ube. Anything with ube so good!

The sweets are good however the barista lady (middle eastern appearance) was quite rude. Quite disappointing when most of the other staff are lovely. Even just a smile or hello goes along way.

I ordered a custom engagement cake and it was truly lovely! Hannah was prompt in her responses and we were very happy with the result. The cake was dense and moist with delicious buttercream.
