This is a lovely park. Ducks can be seen year round and there are a swan couple that call this pond home. At certain parts of the year you can see their little cygnets. A recent upgrade of the play equipment has really enhanced it. The new equipment includes 'unsafe' equipment for bigger kids, but still includes gear for younger kids. Unfortunately an abundance of ibis take away from the beauty, and the new swings aren't suitable for larger size persons. A single gas BBQ provides for those wishing to have a picnic, though insect repellent is essential if it's been raining recently

Wow this place is so beautiful! I have been there a couple of times with my 20 month old, the playground is a bit big for her but still good fun. It's nice and well maintained, kids around 4 years old and over can make the most of it. The lagoon is fantastic! There are lots of ducks and a wide variety of birds that call it home, we even got lucky and saw a few turtles. My toddler enjoyed the wildlife and the grassy areas as much as the playground. The only downside for me is that there's not a lot of parking spots, although usually the place is not busy.

Nice lil park for 7 to 9ish and under. Any older and they won't be entertained for long. Nice bbq area, Huge pond with ducks but can be a bit dangerous with the road one side and pond on the other for kids running around, just make sure you have eyes on them AT ALL TIMES. Other than that totally good spot!
Playground
Good for little ones. 9 and under, even that's pushing it as there's not a lot there.
Restrooms
Just one lil bathroom but at least it's there
Picnic area
Handy for a semi biggish kids party

It's a pretty good park, great for kids, electric bbq, seats, no toilets though but plenty of trees to go behind. Tap and bin facilities and disabled parking and footpath ramp. There are ducks, swans and geese patrol a purpose creek reserve with multiple remote nesting islands. The birds are friendly and willing to unload any bread you might have, but feeding bread can also upset thier diets and rob them of their nutrients or even make them unwell. 5 star park in my book!

Great little park that accommodates little ones and bigger kids. The tube slide is super fast - it's lots of fun but not suitable for toddlers unless they're with an adult. The ducks are also friendly. Bring repellent if you're there later in the afternoon as mosquitoes can be out and about.

This little park is a nice park. The lake is beautiful with it's local wildlife and the covered seating areas. Their are no toilet amenities here, however, don't let that stop you. The park has some amazing large trees that you can sit under to look over the lake and ponder.

  • Judith Hearnshaw

Lovely spot, I chose it to take our grandchild to because of the water and birdlife. We really enjoyed walking around the pathways and over the bridge. The playground I found to advanced for a 22 month old child. He could not access the

Nice little place to walk my dog, ride my bike and for a short walk. It's so relaxing watching the ducks and black swan swimming. Beautiful play area for kids. Easy street parking and never too busy. More

Nice park, has a flying fox which is great fun for all ages , great views of the pond with ducks and geese and other birds. Only drawback is that it is right next to a busy road with no fence. …

  • Brenda Haynes

Peaceful, beautiful and a great place to walk with your dog. Barbecues and play areas as well as educative materials on the ecology of the area.Ballina Council should be congratulated.

  • Julie Short

This park is well planted and will increase in beauty. Access is easy. There are toilets and it is a pleasant stop for a few minutes. My dog loved the grass. I loved the peace.

  • Julie B

It looks like it would be a nice place for a picnic. Some lovely shady trees to sit under and watch the ducks float by. If you have kids, there's a playground nearby too.

  • Dave Hudson

I dont really want to review this place, I don't want it to become too popular. It's an awesome place for the kids / family, swings, ducks, views. Just great

  • Angela P

Great park with a decent playground and wildlife around to view. Seems to be toilets being built which would.be ideal and really the only thing missing

This park is amazing, water wildlife and a great aspect for the sun to wash it's rays over you & nature. Go there for inspiration and connect with it.
