The place is AMAZING. The food is really nice and tasty, the owners are very nice and friendly, the ambience is very good and there is option for indoor or outdoor seating. If you like Indian BBQ this is the place to go. The food is very high quality and portion sizes are very good. I would recommend to get the chooza, kebabs, mushkaki, kulfi, poussin, chips, naan, juice and the fish. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new place to try.

Hashmis is a culinary delight! Their barbecue, masala fries, kulfi, and tangerine juice are all fantastic. If you're vegetarian, not as many options, but would recommend their paneer. It's a popular spot, so be prepared for a 5-10 minute (depending on how busy they are) wait since reservations aren't allowed. Still totally worth the experience.

I came here with big expectations but the service is so poor. Never been to a more racist establishment. They serve the Asian people rather than us and what baffles me is that the servers are Kenyans themselves. At one point the server serving us was taking our order and just left in the middle to go to an Indian guy. Very poorly managed establishment don’t recommend to anyone.

Absolutely delicious tangerine juice and meal. Service is excellent. There is a long line on Saturday and Sunday nights. Be aware of coming near closing. The location is in the Brookside Mall. Easy parking And take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Beautiful and very clean mall also.

Great food. Too bad closing very soon...known this place since I was a young boy, when they started started the place beteenn Kirinyaga Road and River Road, area opposite to where another great restauarant known as Supreme... Over the past years have not frequented the place too often due to the fact moved a bit far away from Nairobi, and economic situation....there was a tinge of sadness when they had to leave Ukay Centre, and now even more so, but understandable due to the COVID29 effects.

As always what a meal. These guys simply know how to do good food. There is no fuss, no fanfare, you know what you're going to get. We had a few dishes but I still rate their chicken kebabs as the best in Kenya. The naan is soooo good as well. Over all if you're looking for a quick meal that delivers on flavour then you have to try Hashmi's. The staff are also really good and the service is stop on. There is a reason why there is a queue before they open and why we keep going back.

Hashmi barbeque at broadwalk mall is amazing and really great place for dinner plans or a lovely date. I would recommend going at night cause the ambience is unmatched the service was incredible and the food even better. Nothing short of phenomenal.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars because it's that's good. It's always been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember. Homely restaurant run by a very nice family . All their dishes are incredible. Don't miss the puisine and chooza flavoured chicken and chips enjoyed with the passion fruit juice. You might have to wait on weekends considering the place is packed. I think they're moving to a new place considering the current building is being demolished.

The food was really delicious, great quality and quantity. Great view.

I had good experience here with the meal balanced with India spices and flavorful cuisines. I loved the settings of the restaurant - with hangout outlook, bright lights and colourful environment. The reception is excellent and the speed of service delivery is without delay. I think they have 2 closing period, you may want to visit before 3PM to enjoy some experience here, and I am not sure of what time they close for evening or later period

This is place has the best food I've eaten in the entire Nairobi. I would go back any day since they are relocating soon. The service was amazing, food was prepared and served in the best way. If only I had several sets of stomach I would eat and keep eating. I just wish they wouldn't be moving out of the country. I really hurts but I will make sure I visit them maximum times before they close. It will always be a pleasure

I've traveled the world. I'd like to think I have a well tuned palette especially being raised in Atlanta, my relationship with chicken is well established. got lost trying to find The restaurant inside diamond plaza.i enjoyed their Nice tender meat. The sauce that comes with the food had tamarind in it tastes unique and sweet. however packed during the weekend (Saturday). Limited choice in menu only fries or naan.there's an African themed market outside u can enjoy shopping.

Without a doubt, Hashmi ranks as one of the top 5 must-visit restaurants in Nairobi. The chicken chooza is their flagship dish, one you cannot afford to miss. Other must-tries are the mutton kababs / mixed grill for an overall sampling. Prices are high, but worth it. Food is halal. Prayer facilities available.

Expect to wait to get a table after 7pm, food is excellent and a good quantity but if you're not used to spicy food you may have a runny stomach later. Not ideal for vegetarians although they have a couple of meals, dessert and drink selection is minimal. Popular restaurant, service is great usually.

The food here is always amazing! Maintained standards from the first day I visited which is quite a while back... I recommend the mixed grill- to get a taste of everything... rather most of the meats. Great service, good food... clean restaurant. Awesome management

This is a must to go place if you like Pakistani/Indian barbeque. Quick service. Spicy but delicious food with reasonable prices. It can be very crowded at the weekends. If you are looking for a quiet place to dine this may not be for you.

Major service improvement required. Chicken leg served was raw. When I complained, instead of make a new perfectly done, they grilled it again. Result you can see in the pic, full of black charcoal.

Excellent service and fair priced decent meals. If first time, try the mixed platter and lamb chops. The chicken kebab is not so spicy. You have choice of washed, mild or hot spices.

Flavourful and fresh meat... hot hot off the grill. Go for the mia grill and chips it’s VFM and tastes good. A must try if you are in town.

Reputable place for grilled chicken and bbq meats. Personally i found the mild version spicy. Something which they could look into.
