I was approved for expedited SNAP benefits over a month ago and I never received my card!! I’ve been calling their office and the 211 number for WEEKS and they are absolutely no help! They tell me to call the 1-800 Lone Star Card helpline even though you can’t even use that number unless you have a lone star card!! If I already had a card, I obviously wouldn’t need to call them for help!!!! Useless!!! My application was approved at the beginning of august and we’re now halfway through September!!! So I guess I’m just never going to receive my card?! I definitely plan on escalating this issue since none of the the representatives I’ve spoken with seem to be interested in actually helping me! **Update**: After calling around for several weeks informing every representative I spoke to that I never received my card after being approved for SNAP benefits, and requesting a replacement card last Friday that also never arrived, today I was told that ALL of the funds on my card had been spent!! Why wouldn’t someone tell me this before?! Especially after telling them that I never even received my card?!!! This has FRAUD written all over it! I’ll be contacting the state office in the morning to file an official complaint! I am DISGUSTED by my experience with this place!! Stealing funds from people who are in need is just sick and twisted!!

This by far is the worst government office i have ever went to. The staff (5 women) all decided to go on break while there were over 10 people in line. All but 1 went on break. They walked around on their cell phones, they went got soda, they talked about their person lives to each other all while needing families, individuals waited in line. Once i got to the window, i told them i just needed to change my address. The rep yelled at me and told me they didnt do that. When i informed her that i had called prior to coming to confirm they do change addresses, she wrote my address on a "sticky note" and told me to sit down. From there i waited 2 hours with no update. At that point i got up and and asked for an update and i was yelled at and told "she's working on it." No name of the person working on my address change. I have never seen such unprofessionalism, such disrespect, such disregard for the next person in my life. To me how can the Health and Human Services Commission hire such lazy and nonchalant people to assist needy families? A deeper look needs to be taken into this office and questions need to be asked to the supervisor Mr. Garcia about the individuals he employs.

WARNING !!!!!! They’re stealing food stamps and they will not replace it. My stamps was stolen I have my card and everything my stamps was used all the way in Boston.I did a police report and they officer said they can not do nothing for us. Food stamps say it’s our fault how if I live in htown was at work and then same day I’m in Boston and used it all. They said it’s our responsibility but this is happening to a lot of people I believe this is an inside job. How can we have our cards and all of a sudden people are buying food in a different state using our cards and they’re using it online to the vendors that deliver food. I talked to a few people that is happpento and same thing. But then there gonna tell us it’s our fault nah this is you alls fault and our stamps should be replaced especially with this it showing proof I was at work and have proof, including picking up my child and being home security camera and all so food stamps you need to do better because this is not okay this is wrong and you know it you all can do better.

Review for Tuesday October 24, 2023 I wish I can give a 0 star. The BLACK LADY in the last right side window that does EBT was very very rude to me. I was asking her a question when she was helping a women that time. She rudely yelled at me and said I’m helping this women I cant answer your question or help you. I have never ever been treated this bad in my life. I hope she gets FIRED. Whenever I go to any other places and an employee helping someone that time and I have a question the employee would politely answer my question. I will NEVER EVER gonna come back to this location or recommend my family or my friends or anyone not to come to this location.

The ppl here are a joke.. poor customer services nobody is on the same page in the office everytime you ask them somthing about your case you get two or 3 different anwsers every time you call they will never let you talk to a social worker an when you do talk to someone they are very rude I just don't understand what is going on in this office my sister called about her case an ask the lady what her name is she hang the phone up in her face....now something is wrong with this picture I need answers... anyone

I’m filing a complaint as we speak , very rude , and unprofessional, I pray that the fire her and plow her to see what it feel like to live on 50%of her income , these people are so rude and they have no idea what people are going through!!!!! I will not stop until this is dealt with. in this field you need great customer service and heart and compassion for people , and if you don’t have it you should go work in a grass field with no people.

Very rude and unprofessional service have been back to this location 5tines in the last months this is a pandemic and my service where not renewed due to there error and they where not helpful at all all documents where sent and they continue to give me the run around just to not do there job being as this is government our tax money pays for this I will be placing a formal complaint.

Great service!! I've been waiting for months and months for an answer on my case and just by me making a stop to this office, my prayers were answered and my case got approved. Didn't take too long at all, I got a quick call to start my interview (which I've been waiting for months to complete) and they took care of it for me. I highly recommend coming to this office

So my case was approved after going there two days for 5 hours everyday. Now the case manager logged the wrong date and floor managers failed to understood and again had me wait 5 hours to fix the typo error they made on date. XTERMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL STAFF NEED SOME ADULT SUPERVISION

The worst customer service I ever experienced in my life! The lady who ever answers the phone. Is disgusting! The way she talks to people is horrible. Just because someone is on food stamps or is getting helped doesn't make you better then them. She should absolutely be fired!

I have been at the office since 7:30Am on 4/21/2023 it is now 8:24AM and this office is not open. There is a long line of people waiting and no one is at work. Office hours are 8-5 and no one has opened the doors or turned the light on in the building. This is unacceptable.

Very Rude!!!! The lady handled my case in the lobby. Never introduced herself, or try to explain my case to help me understand. By far the worst experience ever going to that location. I would rather drive far to another location before I step foot back into that one.....

Very rude amd unhelpful staff. They really don't care to hear what you problem is and some window agents seriously need retraining in their customer service skills. Not very empathic at all to certain people. Very rude and disrespectful!!!!

This is literally slow and unprofessional they kept Me waiting on hold for for more a hr waiting on a representative I never had to hold this long...they need to fire everyone and get a new staff cause this is ridiculous

when I call they answer me and then they transfer me to 211, if I am calling the office it is because I want to speak to a person from there not from 211 if so I would call 211 directly

The workers here are very rude and not helpful with anything if you have a question good luck because they’re not going to help you and each person I spoke to had an attitude.

The staff went beyond their duty even close to 5pm my case got the proper investigation as I was heard out. Good people, great Social worker skills. Grateful client.
