OK.. I am ruined..this amazing bakery must have..I mean it has to be producing the best baked cheesecake in the world. I was visiting Antwerp recently I live in Australia. On returning I am going to make it a mission to try and re create this absolutely sublime dream. All others should be judged by this. I have made many and thought they were good..but no.its back to the drawing board. Thank you so much. I tried another one not too far away from you in the posh area..across the railway tracks..not only were they not very friendly, the cheesecake was powdery and not very nice at all.. I'm glad I found Heimisch Gebak bvba though . And glad I got in before a huge crowd appeared. The line just grew and grew. Definitely the best cheesecake anywhere. You just can't stop eating this..

Hier gibt es die besten handwerklich hergestellten Rugelach und den besten Käsekuchen außerhalb Israels (vielleicht sogar einschließlich Israels), fahren Sie hin und kosten Sie, Sie werden feststellen, dass ich recht habe und Sie werden immer wieder hinfahren.

Très bonne boulangerie juive a anvers. Ne pas hésiter a acheter le pain vendredi. Ca s'appelle halah. Un pain tressé. Délicieux... Y a du salé comme du sucré. Ne pas oublier les couques en semaine. Des gozettes aux pommes avec beaucoup de vrai pommes, etc...

Well-priced traditional bakery. Got a variety of pastries for under 10€ and they all tasted fresh and perfectly made. No complaints, has all the qualities one needs from a bakery. Shopkeeper was from New York and spoke English, which helped us feel at home.

The cheese cake and cinnamon roll are amazing. Both look like nothing special but they are. The store looks a bit old but in my opinion that is part of the charm. I tried several other pasties and they were good but the two above stood out.

We were just looking at the windows and one guy who just left recommended us to buy cheesecake and cinnamon rolls. They were both super delicious! Thanks to that guy and the bakery! Next time will try the other products definitely.

Best bakery I’ve been to in years, such wonderful service! Also, if you are visiting Antwerp and are tired of paying so much for lunch, pick up some tasty sandwiches here. I wish there was a bakery like this in London!

süße kleine Bäckerei inmitten des jüdischen Viertels von Antwerpen. Der Käsekuchen war und der Apfelstrudel waren spitze. Eine tolle Auswahl an kleinem Gebäck und Kuchen.

Their challa, cheesecake and cheese pastries are simply divine. Other products I havent tried. It surely is one of the best bakeries in the country. Very friendly too.

Terrible pastries, the cream had an awful sweet taste and the bread was rock hard a few hours later.
