We gave Hellcat a try on Tuesday night & was Absolutely Gobsmacked at the Quality of the Food. So we made a complaint to the owner Tony who offered a Refund. Which he stated he put into our account & it still isn't there today being Friday! So we thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and try something else on the Menu tonight.. The Fries were burnt to a Crisp.& Rock hard!! The Chicken Parma was burnt all the way around and only one part of the centre was able to be eaten. They put a plastic Gravy tub in the take away box ontop of the Schnitzel which melted into the cheese and Schnitzel. The fish Tacos were just slapped into a takeawy container.. The owner was releaved on Tuesday when I didn't leave a bad review.. But after Tonight we have been left with no other choice because it becomes a Food Safety issue with Melted plastic into a meal for a start. Let alone the rest of the very poorly cooked food. The young girl with Glasses was so so rude & if it was my family business she'd be going home tonight & not returning!! Telling me not to leave the restaurant because the meals would be ready in under 10mins yet I had to wait over 20mins for them.. On the other hand Rory who was lovely from the moment I got there & when he bought the meals out to me. I literally went directly into the carpark up the lift and couldn't believe my eyes when we opened the packages back in our Apartment.. So Very disappointed in the whole experience unfortunately.. Can only hope Tony can get his Staff to learn Customer Service skills & find a new Chef Obviously!!! Maybe the young girl with glasses could've also helped the staff at the bar when there was a line up waiting... Sorry we can't even give 1 Star..... But we had to to write this review. So the 1 Star goes to Rory..

Went here for a work lunch, with some colleagues and overall I would give it 3/5. The Karage chicken burger patty was burnt and they tried to cover it up with extra coleslaw. My friend got the Cowboy Burger and it was a bit overdone, although still edible. Maybe it was the lunch time rush but the staff seemed not overally helpful not energetic. When we arrived to claim our online booking for an inside booth the staff said they couldn't find our booking and gave us a table outside. Yet when a group of 6 women arrived having not made a booking the male staff member were happy to accommodate them on an inside table which had a reserved sign on it. Also an important note, the burgers here do not come with fries.

I have nothing negative to say. After getting lost in Brisbane (we are country bumpkins) we found these guys buy mistake and what an amazing mistake it was. The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in, to recommending food and accommodating my small tired children!!! The burger we had was my last meal before a hospital procedure that leaves me without real food for 6weeks and my gosh, it was satisfying. Along with corn ribs (which are my new favourite thing) I couldn't have searched for better food. Sadly I will have to have more procedures in the future but they will suck a little less now I know about these guys!!!!!! Thankyou, for everything, we will definitelybe back!!!

The team, yo. THE TEAM is incredible, the team are lovely, the food; incredible. Cocktails. FOOHKEN BELTER. Genuinely. Small cocktail menu but it is DIVERSE, and I mean, diverse, spice, sweet, in between, it's just the place is a beautiful setting with lovely drinks and Tash, and Rory (I hope I spelt it correctly) have been belter team, the kitchen team, cannot forgot the kitchen team - they delivered QUALITY FOOD. Bro. The wings. THE WINGS. Whiskey BBQ with Ranch. Belter. Do yourself a service - have a time here, have a mega feed and then get yourself a coffe because it's worth. Try this place out if you haven't. The lychee lemon cocktail SLAPS and the Spiced apple tastes like Christmas.

Came across Hellcat Maggie when I was looking for coffee on a Saturday morning. Happy this cafe and bar open next door so I could walk in my PJs for my coffee fix! Truth be told, not many cafes are opened at this side of the city on the weekends. Instantly love the beautiful, industrial and modern decor and feel to this place. Also, excellent and friendly service. Tried their coffee which was good and that latte art was one of a kind! They have a full breakfast menu but I opted for their toasted peanut butter and banana on sourdough, which was refreshing, something simple but also what I felt like having. The drinks and dinner menu also looks good. Can’t wait to come back here with a bunch of friends and try them soon.

Special shout out to Aden that was working in the bar last night (13/12/23), Mikey and Will that was working on the floor. The experience was amazing and the team were so helpful, kind and efficient. When we arrived our party had been spilt into three tables (no one’s fault we all arrived at different times) the team were kind enough to put together a great table for us to enjoy the Trivia night. The atmosphere was great and it looked like the team was happy to be there. Thank you all for such a great night full of fun and laughter. You all really be doing the most especially during festive times. Hope you get the recognition you deserve!

Went relatively early on a Sat night and it started off quiet, however it picked up by 8. Staff where friendly and the set up is very fresh and trendy with industrial & vintage vibes. You can find American soul food and BBQ on the menu along with a well stocked themed cocktail list. There is also a pretty impressive list of whisky's and scotch! Food was really fresh and came out very quickly. Our table had an assortment of starters, mains and sides and we couldn't flaw a single thing. Indulgent and flavourful, but not oily or overdone There's also an upstairs area, toilets, large flat screen TV and trivia nights! Will definitely be back! Keep it up!

Nice place, clean and tidy, good atmosphere and service, and the house beer is rather tasty, and decently priced to boot. The fries were perfectly salty and crunchy outside and soft inside, and a large side serve at that! And the HCM sauce was delicious for dipping - if only it was a bigger serve as it only did for half of my fries. Only one complaint, the cheeseburger was kind of bland and in need of some sharper flavours. Could definitely benefit from the classic lineup of ketchup and mustard. I mean it's pretty hard to screw up a cheeseburger, but adding lettuce is one surefire way to do it. Still, was a cool place to unwind after work.

The joint looks decent, but it has a very loud atmosphere. The food I was not a fan of, had the Maggie Mayhem, it wasn't very flavoursome, just very spicy. The short waitress, wearing a red shirt, glasses a frizzy/curly bun hair style, was very rude to my work colleagues and yelled at them that they should have the table number on the right table. Which in fact, it was correct. We had multiple people ordering things using that number. She is obviously not a professional, as I wouldn't expect a hospitality staff member to be so rude. I wouldn't come here again, wasn't a stand-out at all. The rude staff member really set that in stone.

Well, the food took about an hour to arrive. We were there on a Friday, sure, and the place was half full, sure, but my fries shouldn’t take an hour and be cold when they arrive. AND the other item I ordered (fish) came out later! How does that make sense? And then the person I was with received her food later, and then the other person later again. So we all took turns eating while the others looked around foolishly. I saw multiple people leave. I saw angry faces. I saw useless staff walking around doing nothing. Pick up your game. No jokes here - a terrible place with zero redeeming qualities. Be better or enjoy bankruptcy.

Surprising that this place has such a high rating as the service today was very poor. We watched the staff member make a drink while dripping the water the shot jigger was sitting in into the glass. They were then very stand offish and were loudly complaining about how other customers had ordered coffees and beers which was difficult for them to do because it was so busy. At this point there were probably only 4 other tables in the restaurant so unsure how staff was stretched so thin. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Overall very disappointing.

Had a great trivia night some time ago here, and the drinks always on point. Food used to be really great - burgers and fries - but has not been on point last couple of times. Its fine ita not the worst but they were really great burgers. Great vibes, and atmosphere inbooths especially.., hope the food returns to previous level over a year ago.

Do you like wind and having to hold onto your lettuce??! Well this is the venue for you! Indoor seating is often booked up, especially for groups, so you might want to book ahead if want a non-windy spot that seats more than 4. Food and price was pretty standard, though I was a bit disappointed that the avo in the pumpkin salad I had today was all a very unappealing brown colour.

I have been there 4 times now. First 3 were good. Food was good. Service is always a bit questionable. This week on Friday 3feb the food was 45 mins from time of order and it was just salad and burgers. I have updated my review based on last few visits to this place. Customer service and food has completely degraded recently. The burgers which I loved once, are now very oily and suprisingly messy. Very ugly. Last but not least, starters, appertisers and snacks come before the main meal. Specially when the customer asks for it and you say "sure!". So I had the right to reject it, although I had already paid for it. So disappointed. I will not recommend this place to anyone anymore and will never go back.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. Understandably busy but around 1hr later had to request for order to be take-out instead as only one dish made it to the table (they ordered after and on a different table number). Even then, once the food was received it was cold, no sauce provided with the chips as is the usual when dining in. Such a shame. Would suggest you look into giving people a heads up about waiting time when they order.

Went for lunch and chose the Brisket Burger. It was loaded with tender brisket meat and was exactly what I needed. There's a small selection of tap beer, including the house Hellcat Lager which is worth trying. If you are dining outside, depending on the prevailing winds you might get quite cold. The wind whistles through the laneway so bring a jacket just in case.

Went here on Friday evening. Wasn’t greeted on entering and was ignored by wait staff walking past. The staff seemed tired and fed up and weren’t particularly friendly. The food was nice but when I went to the kitchen hatch to ask for some more gravy to go with my chicken schnitzel I was told to go to the bar to buy some more. Seriously! No one checked on us or offered to get more drinks so we walked out after finishing our food and went to another bar for a second drink.

This is your typical burger place, not meant to be great service or fancy. It’s about the burgers, fries and beer. So we ordered the Monday Cheeseburger special and fries. Cheeseburger was pretty good, but fries were soggy and holding a lot of oil. If you’re going to have a burger joint, hot crispy fries are a must. Would have been a 5 out of 5 if the fries weren’t soggy and oily.

Okay bar but the food menu doesn't really cater to my dietary requirements. Got kicked out for catering for them myself, as bringing anything else results in being told to leave. This happened despite the rest of the table - several other people - having ordered food and drink from the venue. I can't recommend for groups with any amount of diversity. Hellcat Maggie's should be aware that this has lost them the custom of more than one person.

Quite an enjoyable place. It was very windy when we visited but not unpleasant. Nice clean seating, fun environment. Staff were friendly and the menu has a simple but good range of things to suit everyone. Weekday lunch specials are popular, go early to get a seat if this is your intention. Alternatively, they do seem to take reservations. The bar is well-stocked too if you're looking for a cheeky indulgence!

Been there a couple of times and really enjoyed their burgers, but this time I found out Wednesday’s are the days for your wings! 50 cents each, so it wing overload for everyone! We were served by Rory and he was super helpful, friendly and recommended the Buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing! Delicious! Will be coming back for Wednesday Wings for lunch again! Bought a coffee at 7am this morning on Friday which was warm at best and a breakfast wrap which is where the real disappointment starts, I take one bite and it’s nothing but that 3 type lettuce from coles and half a bag at that to fill up the almost 10 inch wrap, one rasher of bacon, one egg and one tomato slice while all covered in some tomato purée. Do not buy the breakfast wrap for $8.90

My workmate and I come here for lunch every couple of weeks. The food is awesome and the prices are excellent. It's a great atmosphere and the owner and staff are really great.

What a venue.. We had our daughters 18th birthday here last night and I cannot say how amazing it was. The food, the staff, the atmosphere. Very dry steaks, burnt on the outside, chewy throughout and definitely NOT a medium. Very disappointing $40 lunch, especially when paying 10% surcharge on a Saturday. Could only eat 1/2 of the steaks and finished the potato fries I shared my concern with the waitress and she couldn’t cared less and walked by ‍♀️ I do not recommend this place at all.

The vegan version of a burger had half the ingredients it was supposed to have, for $3 extra. Pretty sad first impression. Tasty, but severely lacking. $18 for a bun, patty, and lettuce. Grilld is way better for that amount of cash.

Loaded fries with wings and a beer. Food was great. Tasty and generous portions. The one beer cost as much as all the food unfortunately. Relaxed refuge in the CBD lunch hours. I wet on Wednesday for $1 wings and got the lot for $26. Which is fair, though not cheap, even for the CBD. Staff were welcoming and efficient.

Always a good place for a feed at lunch for local workers, Poutine loaded chips is the fave. Pretty great trivia of a Wednesday.

My colleagues and I are regulars at Hellcat Maggie for after work drinks. Zoe, Rory and Tony are always friendly and efficient, and make great coffee and cocktails. The food is great too - I’d recommend the fish tacos, popcorn chicken and Karaage Kid burger!

A really cool restaurant and bar, with a good range of food and drinks (including some great beers on tap). The beef patty on the cheeseburger was disappointing as it was dry and had bits of gristle through it, but the sweet potato fries were great.

Amazing lunch at Hellcat Maggie, great food and drinks, and the service is phenomenal. Massive shout out to Tash for taking such good care of us. The whole group had an amazing lunch, will definitely be back. Highly recommend checking them up.

Just tried the 50 c chicken wings, but it just doesn't suit my taste. The wings themselves are overcooked to the point that the flesh is very dry and even a bit tough. The buffalo sauce is way too sour. Could see space for improvement here.

Food was amazing service was great especially when what I thought I ordered was wrong and the manager was happy to explain and fix the issue. If I'm ever back in Queensland I would love to go again as over all it was a great experience

Massive serving sizes, I had to doggy bag my loaded fries cuz I couldn't even touch them after I finished my salad. The prices are a tiny bit steep but the quality is excellent and the vibes are dank! Definitely coming back :)

Friendly staff but service was a bit off. Had to collect my food from the kitchen counter as staff didn't notice it was ready (and I did wait a few minutes to give them a chance to collect). Coffee was good.

Sat hungrily as I watched more uber eats deliveries go out than seated customers. Waited almost an hour for lunch on my 1 hour lunch break... And it wasn't even busy. Young Henry's on tap saved stars tho.
