EDITED: The response from the owner was not correct - I booked a few days beforehand, and it definitely did NOT show F1, the lady manager was adamant it was all just football and NOT the Spanish Grand Prix on any screen. ORIGINAL POST: I checked on their website to see if they were showing Formula 1 on Sunday May 22. It said they were. I emailed them to make sure and had a reply saying yes they were showing the Grand Prix. I booked a table on the website. On arrival, no booking had been made. I looked at my email and saw that I had had a reply saying walk ins only. But there were loads of tables with reserved signs on. Hmm. The F1 run up was being shown on the big screen in the garden. Great. But they switched over to the football run up just before the F1 race started. I asked and was told all the screens were for the football and they weren't changing. What a nightmare. I wouldn't have minded but I had double checked they were showing the race. Don't advertise on your website that you show Formula 1 when you don't. Otherwise the bar seems a good spacious venue to watch sport, sadly only football it seems.

Classic boozer, tons of atmosphere, plenty of beers on offer, they even sell vapes. Massive LED screen in the back garden for sports, and big enough to usually seat everyone on a busy night. Had a mixup with burgers, but that was because the table numbers can be moved around. Also, piped in music in back garden was blasting out louder than the live band inside earlier on.

We had a brilliant surprise party there last Friday. We live in Ireland and Elaine was so helpful and made it so easy to organise from here. We were able to decorate the room early and all the staff were so helpful. The party went perfectly. The room is a perfect size, and set up for the a party. The bar staff were brilliant and the food was the best party food we’ve ever had. We all enjoyed it so much and would definitely recommend the venue. Everyone remarked at how good it was. We ate there in the bar on the day of the party also, and the food was lovely. Great venue to watch the rugby the following day and I’m told the pints were lovely. We’ll definitely be back.

Came here for lunch while visiting Birmingham for work and was really pleased! Nice atmosphere staff were really friendly and service was great! The menu pricing is quite cheap and there was 50% off food so I wasn't sure how good it would be but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Chilli Bomb burger which was just the right amount of heat, had 2 nice smashed patties just a little pink in the middle and some proper chilli sauce with seeds and all topped off with a grilled greep pepper between a proper bun! Very tasty! Friend had baked potato and cheese and beans which he said was great. Proper pint of Guinness to finish things off. Will be back tomorrow!

Not usually the sort of place I would drink in on a real ale pub crawl but happened to go in when walking past on the way to another pub. Glad I did. Although main range of drinks is what you expect in a sports bar type place they have a SALT brewery craft beer (Loom) on (no real ale), which was very good. Decided to eat in here on a Tuesday as menu is half price Mon to Weds. The food was excellent had one of the double chicken burgers for £6. Staff on were really friendly too. Thanks ladies x. Location is near Moor Street car park easy to find.

The bar is a fab place for food and watching the sport! The food was decent price and we found going on Tuesday to Thursday its half off too!! Only issue was that they got our order muddled (we were too polite to ask them to fix it and we were very hungry!) so just double check your order! What we did have was lovely!

Great place to eat and drink. I brought my children, they loved the cheese and bacon toasties. The portion size and quality is perfect. The staff serving were extremely friendly and helpful. As an Irish bar would be nice to see bit of white pudding somewhere but other than that 10/10! Thank you for the experience see you soon.

Came in at about 3:40PM staff was friendly/ helpful, ordered meal of chicken wrap n chips (with pineapple juice) cost £6.50, wrap good, chips really good pineapple juice amazing. Moving onto seats/ general atmosphere seats comfortable, tables/ chairs clean, it was quite quite and peaceful. I really enjoyed the whole experience. 5 stars all round.

Henneseys bar literally saved mine and my partners lunch date . First thing we noticed when we entered the door (apart from the 50 percent of all food of course) was how well kept the place was. Not a chair out of place or plates left on tables. Was greeted with a great big smile by Marie the bar staff which is always nice. Then when the food came me and my partner were in complete disbelief of the sheer size and quality of the food. Extremely reasonable prices also. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend

We watched the England vs Wales FIFA game and the environment was amazing! The drinks were good they were unfortunately given in plastic cups which made the experience a bit annoying. But! A decent place and a good ambience, looking forward to going there again.

We had a party here a few weeks ago and it couldn’t have gone any better! The staff done us all proud from start to finish, food was delicious and plenty of it. Really great experience at Hennesseys. The staff were brilliant, service was quick and top notch despite a full house. Food was great aswell. Definitely a place worth visiting to catch up or watch any games for a fantastic atmosphere.

A group of us visited on Saturday evening for drinks and then again on sunday to watch the All Ireland Football Final. Drinks and food all spot on and very reasonably priced. Had some good banter with the staff also. Great spot and the entertainment was excellent.

I ordered via the at 1950 was told the wait time would be 42 mins I understand kitchens can be busy asked a waiter around 2050 he advised to go to the bar which I did and was told the app has been down for 30 so they might not of goty order
