This is the second time I have used henriques griffiths I am very disappointed and frustrated with the service I have recieved. The first time I used them laura Bernard was fantastic! Replied to emails within a short window, support me through the buying out of a property and purchase of another. No question was too much trouble and very approachable. Well this time round I wanted Laura to do my sell and purchase but she didn't cover sharedownership anymore and passed me to lois reed and Emma Clarkson who at first were alright and processed the starting blocks very quickly and replied within a short window. As time as go on they have gotten worse and I recently they seem to be moving atsnails pace for no reason whatsoever, I'm getting told off for contacting them too much (bare in mind only reason I'm contacting regularly is the lack of communication is now 2-3 days for a simple question or just reassurance) there has been delays with my purchase to no fault of the sellers fault, it was all due to mismanagement and not asking for the last bits of information a week before we can exchange. There has been no support for my mental health or stress levels. Most of the I have had to contact Livewest, management company and Platform housing to chase enquiries or outstanding work that needs doing. As they have just left the enquiries in the mind set of " they will reply when they reply" attitude. My exchange completion date was the 21st June 2023 which has been and gone and still not exchanged to this day. There is no sense of urgency with them. And now nearly 3 weeks of this deadline there is no confirmation of exchange or completion date as they are waiting for sellers solicitor to have all the signed documents which could of been sent to them last week. Sorry to ramble!! I am highly annoyed, disappointed and disgusting with the way this whole situation has played out. I am left hopeless as I can't do anything. Furthermore I can 100% confirm I will not be going to henriques griffiths again with any enquiries or sell/purchase related information. As they have been useless and have left me and the buyer feel annoyed, angry. I will be going elsewhere next time! Good luck looking after your clients in the future! Your not getting anymore future payments from me and please look at how your solicitors support or deal with their clients in the future.

As a prospective homebuyer in the process of purchasing a property, I had an unfortunate encounter with Tom Gabb, the solicitor representing the seller's estate at Henriques Griffiths. My experience with him was nothing short of disappointing and disheartening. Throughout the transaction, it became evident that Tom Gabb lacked the necessary knowledge and understanding of the property's legal details. His lack of preparation and attention to critical matters created unnecessary hurdles and raised doubts about the reliability of his representation. To make matters worse, Tom's demeanor was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He seemed dismissive of my inquiries and concerns, showing a complete lack of respect and consideration for me as a potential buyer. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the entire firm. Moreover, I found Tom's actions to be untrustworthy and lacking in transparency. I felt uneasy about proceeding with the transaction due to the doubts surrounding his integrity as a solicitor. Purchasing a home is a significant decision, and it is crucial to have a smooth and professional experience throughout the process. Unfortunately, my interaction with Tom Gabb at Henriques Griffiths did not meet these expectations, and it left me feeling frustrated and apprehensive about the entire property purchase. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against engaging Tom Gabb's services or proceeding with a property transaction involving him as the solicitor. It is essential to work with a competent, respectful, and trustworthy solicitor who can facilitate a successful and positive homebuying experience. I encourage other potential buyers to consider alternative legal representation options to avoid the disappointments I faced with Tom Gabb at Henriques Griffiths.

Lucy and Danniella were brilliant, throughout this process. They are the first solicitors I would actively recommend to people. What struck me most, was that they were not as stuck with tradition as other solicitors I've used. For example, I was treated as a person rather than an afterthought on the documents, (in a previous sale process, everything was addressed to my husband, even though I dealt with all correspondence and it was my house which was being sold!), it was okay not to have the same surname as my husband, and they understood that my husband and I had equal roles in the process. All communication was friendly and professional, and the team replied quickly to queries. The fact that the process was completed within a matter of weeks was in no small part down to the diligence and dedication of Lucy and Danniella. Highly recommended.

Claire Wilkins, Victoria Salam, and Emma Clarkson have offered an efficient and effective conveyancing service during our house purchase. They’ve responded to all emails in a timely manner and supported phone calls whenever required, processed all issues in a day or so, and our whole house purchase has gone through in around 9 weeks from beginning to completion. This is the 4th solicitor we’ve used in the last 8 years, and by far the best. Also very competitively priced. 5/5 highly recommend the winterbourne office.

Lucy Mason and Danni Young were extremely helpful, positive and professional and I cannot fault the service they provided for the sale and purchase of our property. Ours was a particularly drawn out and frustrating experience due to the need for Power of Attorney to be put in place at the other end but Lucy kept us updated, kept the pressure on and was a calming presence at the (several) moments we wanted to tear our hair out! Buying and selling houses is a ridiculous bureaucratic process in this country but Lucy and Danni made it as painless as possible. I would absolutely recommend them.

I've used Henriques Griffiths twice now (specifically Sarah Howe and Charlee Purnell): in the purchase of a rental flat a few years ago; and recently for the sale of my old home, purchase of my new home, and linking remortgage on my rental flat. Sarah and Charlee have been superb on both occasions.Their pro-activeness in moving things forward, attention to detail, and dealing with problems that have arisen due to other parties has been excellent. Should another opportunity arise in future, I shall use them again, and I shall continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Don't normally log in to do this, but Henrique Griffiths, and in particular Laura and Jade, deserve a mention for their assistance in our recent sale and purchase. It ended up being a long and drawn out process due to the seller moving into a new build property (always a hoot with one of those in the chain). Throughout the many months of getting this through they have always been really professional and helpful in answering all of our queries and getting the sale and purchase over the finishing line. Would recommend their services for anyone looking for a conveyancer.

Henriques Griffiths LLP (specifically, Anna and Jan) acted as our solicitor in selling our flat in Bath, completing Jan 2016. They professionally and methodically worked through the process, were proactive in chasing other parties as needed, and kept us in the loop at all stages. A great job! We were so pleased with the service, we also asked Anna and Jan to act as our solicitor in buying a house in Bristol, completing June 2016. Again, we were impressed with their professionalism and communication, and would certainly recommend their services.

I used this firm once before for conveyancing many years ago and was very pleased with the service. This time it was family law and my solicitor, David Foster was extremely professional, his advice was always slanted in my favour for the least cost to me, unfortunately that could not be said of the other side. There is no doubt David obtained the best possible result involving the least stress possible for me. I am very happy and would recommend this firm of solicitors without hesitation.

This was my first experience with Henriques Griffiths, and I cannot recommend Lucy Mason and Danniella Young highly enough. They have both been extremely professional, communicative, and accessible. Property sale isn't a simple business especially in the UK. Having a solicitor's firm who looks after your interests and rights is of utmost importance because mistakes can be very costly. My experience has been exemplary with Lucy and Daniella from the start and right up to completion.

Go elsewhere. I could have done a better job myself. If you spend a lot of time scrutinising their work instead of assuming that they are doing the right thing you then realise their complete lack of attention to detail, I've had to chase them non stop and point out the things they missed. Completely unacceptable service. I suspect most people don't have the time to check everything and review their work. But if you do you may be surprised and the lack of value for money you get.

Sarah Howe (and her assistant Charlee Purnell) from the Winterbourne office represented myself and my partner on our recent house sale and subsequent purchase. They were both fantastically organise, frank and communicative from the outset. Attention to detail was brilliant and they've certainly helped us move in to our new home as quickly as possible. I had a couple of different needs for legal help and rang to see if I could pop in to the office to meet one or more staff members and get a feel for the firm and how they work. The person I spoke to simply told me that they don't offer that. When I queried which bit she meant they didn't offer, she said that the staff don't meet people in person. I have found another firm that was immediately much more welcoming.

Good service, but they insist on paying money by cheque and charge £30 per bank transfer. It's a complete pain because there are no longer any banks in which to cash a cheque, so I'm afraid it's 3 stars instead of 5.
