Rating the artificial bowling green. Had a great match against the Herbert Park Vets 1 team. Played in good spirit and humour. Green played well and true, with a speed that suited me. Extremely hot on the day so you are advised to take plenty of water. Lovely surroundings in the park and there are toilets and cafe close at hand. Free parking after 2pm on the bowling club side. Well worth a visit.
