This is an amazing comic shop! If you love comics stop here even if you are passing through. New comics, back issues, bronze silver and gold. The customer service was great.. Even tho the owner wasn't three they tried their best to accommodate me. The owner has lots of silver and golden back issues.. In a specific order.. ? ? I needed to know publisher date of issue and something else? So that was confusing.. If you know all that definitely a "gold"mine! There is also a warehouse.. (you can't go there) but with the correct information they will search for you! New to silver and golden age comics.. But this store is a GEM! They also sponsor a comic show.. Everyone in the area said it is a MUST ATTEND! Hope this helps in your comic search!

This is a destination every time I come to Charlotte. This is a COMIC SHOP. As soon as you walk in the wall to your right is for comics. The new back section has rare comics and a great wall full of art and props. The wall to your left has nothing but graphic novels and omnibus. You will pay cover price but there is nothing like going to a shop and finding a new book you never would online. Comic shops help steer you in the direction of your new favorite book. Thats something an algorithm can't do. Also this is the shop that puts on Heroes Con, the best NC convention you will ever go to. Look this shop is perfect and it is near a bakery and a pet store. I can't stress this enough, go and find your next favorite story.

I used to love this store as a kid, but as an adult and gossip circumvented town and even in heroes aren’t hard to find, the environment isn’t the kindest towards me.. I can’t even tell if it’s cuz of my race too? Anyways It sucks. But it’s life. I can say, I’ve been nothing but a good patron to this store and spent an absurd amount of money and enjoy some of the staff whom are actually nice to me and are willing to help me with the history of various Incredible Hulk issues and other vague characters (I.e. Sam is his name. I love that guy!) The store is large, has a crazy big selection of back issues and they are nice to kids. It’s a family oriented store and organizer of the largest convention in the south.

Long story short I had this store order me the wrong copy, so I ended up with 2 of the same Spider-Man comics. My fault, that was on me. Management was nice enough to make an exchange despite my error. On that same trip, I had a hard time finding a specific volume of WonderWoman & Spider-Man. A young lady & other guy each helped me find either one. Literally that entire staff from top to bottom is real cool. Also their decor is dope. Comic Book lovers... this is the spot.

One of the best comic book stores in Charlotte. I have been going there since I was like 10 years old when they were located on Central Ave. I have been to lots of other comic book shops in the past but this the best "JUST comics" shop there is. Even though my passion has wained for comics a bit it's still got a great atmosphere for new and old collectors. The only bad thing about Heroes now is the way Charlotte has pushed them to a smaller space with atrocious parking.

REALLY miss the old place. The new smaller location just doesn't have the same feel to it. Feels like a shop that's just starting out and hasn't found its groove yet. Smaller selection of back issues, limited books on the shelf. Granted, with the comic shutdown we just went through, it could just be the timing. Staff was awesome, though. Just doesn't feel like the shop that puts on the greatest comic convention the world has ever seen.

Unreal amount of comics to choose from! If I had the time during my visit I would have searched every single shelf for good finds. They have the widest selection of trade paperbacks and Indy comics I’ve seen in all my comic shop visits. They even sell zines and other this and that published material. We left with a nice little stack of books. As it’s only an hour and a half from my city, I’ll definitely make the trip again!

Heroes Aren't Hard To Find is absolutely awesome. It is a small store packed with some amazing comics. Some of them were limited edition and were "very nostalgic," says my dad. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good variety of comics. The only thing they had a limited supply of was manga, but it makes sense considering the theme of the store (most of it is based around Marvel and D.C.).

Still requires facemasks for fully vaccinated people, in spite of CDC guidelines. Extremely rude. To clarify, I'm not a covid denier or anti mask. I've had my vaccines and the CDC says a mask isn't needed anymore. Also, the store contradicted its own stated policies by having more than 3 customers at a time. I guess they pick and choose what policies they want to enforce.

Great little comic shop who's staff was hilariously entertaining and were extremely knowledgeable on a variety of comic historia. They had a good selection of back issues, however all of their older books were at the convention hall for Heroes Con for the weekend. The shop was brought and welcoming, but didn't deal in toys if that was the collectible of your choice.

  • Mickey Mousse (The Mickster)

A bit overpriced in some regards but they have a great back issue selection. They also handle new book releases by limited purchase on some, while other shops could care less. Not my 1st choice but certainly worth experiencing and coming to your own conclusions. Only a few that work there are genuinely interested in you as a customer.

I love this place. It's just how a comic book store should be. The staff is friendly and their recommendations are spot on. Parking can be tough here, but the shop is not at fault for that. I can even bring my boys here since they have a kids section which holds comics for a wide range of reading levels, while also being appropriate.

  • mitchel slaughter

They have an extremely large selection of comic books. If I'm ever looking for a book usually I can find it here. The staff is always very nice. I always get my bags and boards from there very good quality and price. The only issue that I have is I'm never really sure where you're supposed to park for the store

My 9 year old nephew Eli loves this place I try and take him often.... he just loves comics and has so much knowledge about them. He amazes with the knowledge he knows, down to which artist it was by the drawings. staff is always very helpful and friendly I'm answers all questions if any. …

  • Renee Stengel

The service is amazing. So helpful! I know nothing about this new hobby if my boys’, but the staff has been amazing helping me choose age appropriate comics for each of my teens, holding the ones we choose, ordering the ones not in stock. I am so grateful to have a fantastic local comic store!!

  • Josh Vassallo

Possibly my favorite comic shop anywhere. The staff is always welcoming and there is a vast selection of comics and graphic novels. The store is well organized and always clean. It's easy to find what you are looking for every time. Be warned - your wallet will be empty when you leave …

  • Dave Vanian

This is a nice looking store but if you're looking for a good selection of older back issues or anything that's not super heroes then you're out of luck. I don't enjoy writing a bad review for this place but it was a total waste of time for me. The two guys working were nice though.

  • J. Michael

Great selection of books both back issue and "Wall" Books . The Staff was very friendly. I probably would've dropped more money in purchases if the prices were right. Most Books were priced above Ebay or Raw Books were priced as "Graded". Overall I recommend this shop.

  • Brandon Gage

Hands down the best comic book store in Charlotte! Heroes Aren't Hard To Find has a huge selection of comics, all from common to extremely rare. The comics are in perfect condition and some are even graded! If you're a comic book lover, you have to swing by this store!

  • c s

The location is on the smaller side but there is a lot packed in there! There is a nice range of older and newer comics. There is a also w section for younger readers. There's more than comics here, too! The shelves are full of great graphic novels and manga.

  • Aaron Killian

Talk about an amazing comic shop buying experience! What a selection. What amazing prices. What great service. We came all the way from Maryville, TN, just to visit this shop. I was able to find some key issues ice been looking for years trying to find!

  • MTRSMMA

This place is just FUN. Great back issues in just about every title, and a couple hidden gems tucked away in those long boxes! Snagged a couple Spawn books here, that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Most definitely worth your time, to pop in!

  • Kenneth Portillo

Great selection of back issues to modern books. I thoroughly enjoyed digging through their displayed inventory. Moderatly priced too, I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. Great atmosphere and great inventory definitely a place to check out.

  • Michael Osborne (MoMo)

It's been years since I've visited, so I wasn't aware of the change from the big storefront to what used to be called the "warehouse" in back. Even so, it's still the same welcoming friendly store it has always been. Hope to be back again soon.

  • The meme Factory

I bought this Spawn 1 from the back area of the store where it was encased in a glass shelf. I looked it over and thought it was in great shape. They charged $40 but as you can see, once I had it autographed and encased, it was well worth it!

  • Chris Foster

Very cool spot if you are a collector or fan of any caliber. New comics on the shelves, older comics to browse through on the tables with thousands of well organized books to peruse, or ask for something in particular and you may get a box

  • Chris Kabool

I love this shop. I've had a subscription bag since I moved to Charlotte 5 years ago. The staff are always very upbeat and extremely helpful and the owner loves to talk old comics. Even though I have moved out of Charlotte I still keep my

The shop was a little lifeless with only one employee there. However, that is to be expected as the shop was still putting on Heroscon at another location. The comics were mostly in a organized layout. The selection was excellent for

a great shop with a wide selection of new release comics and graphic novels. They also have a nice supply of back issues too. Beyond that, I really love the look and design of the space. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful.

  • Aish Alian

It was nice to finally visit this comic book shop after seeing their booths a lot at the comic cons. We got to pick up a few things. Very spacious area and the comics seem to be in order so it was browser-friendly.

  • John Richmond

I have been searching for three specific issues of an older series to complete my collection. They were the only ones to have them available. Fantastic place. Would absolutely recommend this place to comic lovers.

  • Shannon Buff

I highly recommend they set some time away and do a correction on some of their prices, because some of these prices remind me of comic book prices. One book was worth like 50 at best and it was labeled as 300

  • Ty McNeely

Super helpful and friendly for a first timer. This place is a staple in Charlotte. My son decided he liked comic books and it's getting him reading more. Couldn't be happier. Excellent selection for all ages

  • L Sipe

My first visit here in quite a while. I had attended one of their huge Cons years ago. Since I grew up in the area and collected comics for over 50 years, I was curious to see their new (to me) location.

  • B Boidy

A fantastic comic book shop with lots of vintage, new arrivals, and a section of kids comics. You can call and request upcoming comics that they will hold for you. Super friendly and welcoming staff!

Should all my comics to them and enjoyed talking with Shelton and gaining more knowledge on things I wasn't aware of. Will visit again. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming to everyone.

I'm not really into comics but this place is cool. They have comics that are worth thousands of dollars! From what I hear this is one of the most authentic comic shops in the country.
