Hertz at Artarmon gave me a new Hyundai i30 to rent! I wanted a small car and was very happy with it. They were helpful and efficient and seemed a popular place to rent from. The return-car entry is handy alongside the left of the building although can be a little tight when they're busy. Someone was immediately on hand to direct me.
My wife and I rented a car from Artarmon Hertz today and we were served by two of the most delightful customer service people you could ever find. The gentleman’s name was Marcus and we don’t know the ladies name. However, it was a breath of fresh air to be served with such a courtesy and friendliness. Outstanding hospitality.
Can’t check an odo. Overcharged on return for extra Km’s I didn’t do. Filled in their feedback form informing them of such, but they never bothered following up. I can’t be bothered chasing them for less than $20, but I can be bothered leaving them a bad review for garbage customer service.
Sometimes it feels like customer service is disappearing but not today. Just handed back my hire car to Hertz Artarmon and received excellent service from pick-up to drop-off. Thank you Lidia for looking after me and ensuring the process was customer focused. Much appreciated.
Had to get a replacement car against an insurence claim. Good customer service. No delivery. And no drop offs after working hours. Car was good. However, cleanliness of the car exterior could have been better. Had to take it to the car wash right after picking up.
Super excited about hiring the Commodore as a last harrah to the Australian icon I guess. But wait they don’t have any only ‘equivalent’ models. Smarmy service guys made us settle on a Subaru - no choice. Car was ok but the service was meh! Everyone gets a 5.

Be VERY careful about your tolls. They force you to choose between an $18 daily fee or a $36 SERVICE fee for the toll tags, which in Sydney are basically mandatory and then they charge you the tolls on top of the $36 fee. it's an appalling

The way Hertz deals with tolls is pretty terrible. They add a predatory "drip pricing" extra charge as you're hiring a car for tolls, basically mandatory in Sydney. Nowhere does it come up in the workflow for hiring the car through the
Would be a good idea to let customers know there is a $160 cleaning fee for having a pet in the car. Wasn’t a nice surprise being told after the fact and dropping the car off. No sign or mention of it when picking up the car originally
