Bowling is a difficult industry to get right. You have many facilities that only cater to league players, and other facilities that only cater to retail consumers (family entertainment centers). Highland has managed to strike a balance just right. The pro shop is hands down one of the best establishments around, the staff are knowledgeable and the shop is owned by one of the best in bowling. The center staff are amazing to deal with. Everyone is laid back and welcoming. The center has a very very genuine "warmth" to it, unlike newer establishments. The lanes are maintained, we have very few trouble calls, and thankfully their equipment has been good to ours! We have popped in during the week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and even Sundays, and each time, despite the different staff on duty is an exceptional experience. If we manage to come in during a crowd, we're given a heads up and an ETA, and we're served as fast as they can get to us. If they've got a large group coming in later, they let us know that too so we can get our practice games in and get out of the way. Genuinely respectful staff make this business. Lebowski's grill is a fantastic treat when you're bowling up at Highland. The staff seem like they are genuinely happy to be there, which is rare. The food is very unique, and very flavorful. For such a small establishment, they have a very large menu, The philly is fantastic, and the burgers are probably the best I've ever had at a bowling alley. Plain and simple, this center just does a fantastic job from lane service to dining to the pro shop and to the front desk. Other centers, take notes.

Planned my birthday around the electric bowl schedule. Called the night before to make sure we could get a lane. We were told league was done and it wouldn't be a problem. Electric bowl is supposed to start at 11pm (10pm would be WAY better?) and go to 1am. Long story short, there were 2 lanes of LEAGUE people who were supposed to be done at 10, but played the entire night so they never turned the lights off and the music up for glow bowl/electric bowl. So the 10-15 lanes of people who were there and paid for glow bowl never got to experience it. Lots of people were mad, but they cater to their 95 year old grumpy and SLOW league bowlers. Real glad my friends drove 40 mins into town for a super disappointing evening. Also, bowling balls are disgusting and dirty and really beat up. Shoes were looking pretty used as well. The cop inside didnt make it feel like a safe place but I guess it wasn't a big deal. Staff was all nice. Not a bad price on drinks. I think we got some sort of shoe discount because we didn't get what we came for. Just a ridiculous and incredibly frustrating experience. No one wants to be let down in their birthday. We even went out and bought all kinds of crazy glow stuff. So much for that! League needs to have rules too. Will probably never come back since there's no guarantee league people won't be there and rule the joint.

We selected this location as a result of our primary location being too full to take us on a Saturday night. Our family members were gathering tonight as a result of our visit to see them. When we walked into the facility, the front desk was able to accommodate us with two lanes so that we could play with each other nearby. Our bowling shoes were issued and we were off to bowl. I noticed the game area seemed a bit small, but there were plenty of bowling lanes. Some of the kids went to feed the game machine. It was a great place for a family night out and this location was able to make that work. There's a restaurant grill in the bowling area and an area for parties available. I did notice that the far side featured a bar. The staff personnel were friendly and kept the counters and floors cleaned. I checked out the restroom and it too was kept orderly and without an offensive smell. We had a great time as customer service was a solid 5 stars as well as our whole experience in the facility. One caveat is that the parking area is fairly small if you have a large vehicle. The corner where the facility is located is locked on all four sides without access to the major parking areas behind the bowling alley complex.

First time trying this place. Saw the reviews and was excited to try it! Note we only came here to try the grill. Pros: Very clean and well kept! It's actually one of the cleaner bowling alleys that I've been to! Staff is very friendly and they don't have that "I hate my job" look on their face. My fiance and I both ordered a bacon cheese burger. When the food came out, everything was hot and made to order and was made correctly. Definitely not something you see at other bowling alley food stand. No pre-made pizzas or questionable sandwiches. Cons: The food was not terrible in the least. It was pretty decent. But I don't think it was as good as the reviews showcased it to be. The burger didn't have much flavor to it. Most of the flavor came from the bacon, cheese and all the toppings. We had also ordered chips and queso. The chips were a bit stale. I noticed they were sitting out in the open which caused them to dry out quicker. For the most part, not a bad experience. I will say it was definitely better than a typical bowling alley!

I worked in a bowling alley for 5 years and grew up bowling, I bowled competitively for 25 years and traveled to different alleys across the country to bowl from age 6 to adulthood. I have NEVER had a WORSE experience at a bowling alley EVER. Two rude old women working the front desk REFUSED to give my 8 year old bumpers because he was ONE INCH taller than the cut off. Like I said, I worked at an alley, I know there a rules for bumpers because people take advantage and they can break. However, this wasn’t the case. When we went back to ask again for bumpers because my son had bowled 7 frames of all gutters and was in tears, one of the women working told us that next time we want to have fun with our son bowling to take him somewhere else if he wants bumpers… “main event or pinstack are better for you”. So, my advice, don’t give this place your money and don’t take your kids. Take their own advice and go to main event or pinstack.

Been here in the past but decided to go by this past Sunday evening at 9p. They were busy but for good reason... they offer a Sunday evening special for all-can-bowl from 8:30p to closing (12a) with shoe rental for $11 per person! We waited about 30 mins and got a lane. That was a decent amount of time especially since there were 7 parties ahead of us. They play great music and have a grill & bar on-site. We stayed for about an 1hr 45mins and got in 5 games. Only sad part is that we got there late so the grill was closing early (it was Sunday after all) and was only offering the snack menu. They have some really good, resonably prices sandwiches/burgers.

Not a bad place- the computerized score keepers seemed up to date and the lanes were kept clean and functional. Bar and grill were both superb. Although the ball returns seemed like vintage 1974, they all worked great and the place was in really good shape. The shoe rentals were also clean and in like new condition. Now for the downsides: A single lane was $27 per hour plus extra cost for the shoes. I admit I don't bowl often, but this seemed kinda pricey. The bowling balls also need to be replaced. I am not an overly large guy but I had a real problem trying to find one that my fingers fit into. And most of them are chipped up

  • Greg Rankin

My kid was struggling with the weight of the ball, so I asked for one of the lighter balls that they keep behind the counter. After being denied because the kid, who was in tears, wasn't physically at the counter, I finally got an explanation for why I couldn't simply bring him the ball: "those are the rules." After continuing to ask - with no cursing, threatening, or name-calling - I was accused by the employee of throwing a "pity party." When we expressed our disappointment in their poor customer service, we we called "poor customers." Clearly not the place to go if you're a casual bowler who values friendly service.

  • Cap'n Crunch

Over-priced. I bowled at Highland Lanes and it is not a very good value. They only offer an hourly rate. By the time an hour is over, you are paying far more per game compared with a place that charges per game. And if you have kids, for get it; an even worse value. Perhaps they count on your ignorance by imply that their prorating hours makes it ok. It does not. O/A the place is adequate. I have bowled all over the country, in leagues and for leisure. Given the high price per game that their hourly price works out to, I have no good reason to continue bowling at Highland.

The vibes here are awesome!!!!! They have a bar, grill and a pro shop. The bar has a variety of delicious drinks and very nice staff. The grill is next lever. The food is always delicious and the people working it are the nicest people I’ve ever met that work with food. The people at the front charging you and giving you shoes, are so cool and awesome. We had a problem with some timing issue and the manager was very understanding and did help us out at the best of his ability. Overall my family loves this place!!!! Will be coming back every week.

  • Cale McCray

Julie at the Highland Lanes/Lebowski Grill is extremely unpleasant and made my family and I very uncomfortable while dinning. She became very irratated when I moved a rag off of a table so my family and I could eat at the bar table. She then became frustrated and started mumbling under her breath to other staff about us. The food was fantastic and the staff working the grill were great but unfortunately this little interaction Julie throws the entire Bowling Alley down the gutter. Will be bowling elsewhere next time around.

I’m giving a 3 star Rating because I was denied the use of a 6lb ball despite my request and explanation as to why I needed a lighter ball( I’ve had serious injury to my wrist Which makes it very weak and hurt easily) I was told those are for children use only every other bowling alley I have been to has the 6lb ball available for anyone to use and therefore I’ve never had any problems until my visit to this bowling alley. My time was not as enjoyable because of the discomfort I had to deal with while trying to bowl.

  • Brandon Scott Duncan

I straight up hate this place. I don't know why I hate it do much. OK let's be honest. I do know why. It's bar is week. They use some device to pour the drinks so the bartender can never make you a double. He's an awkward old man who makes waaaaay to many trips to the cooler. We were actually joking about this one day about how he goes in the cooler so much but never brings anything out. So later. To the guys defense, I borrow his lighter to smoke a cigarette AND ITS A FRIGGIN TORCH!!! ha ha ha ha

I Bowl 2-3 times a week, I live in Fort Worth and decided to get some bowling in, in Austin on a trip. This was honestly the worst bowling experience I've ever had in my life. I don't think there was any oil on the lane, at all. I asked to be moved and was told "they are all like that" again, I Bowl 2-3 times a week, and never have I had a worse lane. The lane was not in an acceptable shape. I've bowled on dry lanes, short patterns, ect, that was not this, this lane had NO oil, at all

  • Arjun Gandhi

My family of 6 was playing with a 6lb ball given to my mother by an employee because she is not able to lift up heavy weights. Another employee came to our lane and snatched the ball away with a very rude attitude, and said we are not allowed to use the ball after being GIVEN the ball for my mother’s severe back injury. They rudely removed us from the property and told us to leave. It was extremely confusing and disrespectful. Never going back to this place.

Have been Bowling in Several Senior Leagues since 2007 and have enjoyed bowling at Highland, always clean staff and management I've seen them come and go have always treated me like family, so many friends some still there, I recommend the Highland family for fun, good food and a great Pro shop that has anything a bowler from novice to pro needs, if your thinking what to do today? GO BOWLING at Highland lanes, you'll have the best time anytime all the time.

  • Taylor Donahue

Bowling is a great opportunity to practice being in the spotlight. I am a little shy in certain situations, but when you step up to the lane, you are in the spotlight! Great to do with people you trust but want to get to know better, EXCELLENT double date. Also just fun to get dressed up a little fancy maybe? Very fun social experience, and the burgers are oh so greasy and good. They went a little crazy with the salt on the fries though. Restraint, guys.

  • Tinnybird G

I used to bowl here in the early 2000's. Stopped for a while, Now I am trying to make a comeback to this activity! It's so much fun & they accommodate the disabled! A big plus! Also they are cheaper than other bowling places I have been to on the past. I also like that they offer bowling specials on certain days so that it doesn't break you! That's why I chose to return back here after not bowling for several years. Love it here!

  • Michael Nicosia

I've bowled here a lot doing league play. It's a fun little alley. The staff is super-friendly and the lanes are pretty decent. The music is usually the same stuff all the time and exactly what you'd probably expect (if maybe not always enjoy): classic rock. The cookies from the kitchen are great, but I haven't tried anything else. I hear it's decent. The beer selection is awful, but maybe asking for a few local brews is too much.

  • Jamie Lynn

We had a great experience bowling at this bowling alley for my sons 4th birthday. All of the employees were very friendly and it was nice to experience a TRUE old fashioned bowling alley. The fried mushrooms were awesome too. I also want to thank John for handling some issues we had on the backend swiftly. ***edited my rating yet again because John has yet to send me a refund check. Shady business practices. This man is slimy.***

  • Jessica Lynn Russell

Chris the manager was so helpful and inviting. His staff was top notch treating myself and 4 yr old very special. They actually cared he had fun, he wasn't overlooked because of his age as we have had happen. Trista and Suzanne were also welcoming from first phone call to bring us in all the way to walking out the door. We are now devoted to this lane because of the people and great environment. Loved you guys!!! See you soon.

  • Deanna Goodson

My kids and I have taken part in Highland's Bowling Leagues for years. They're great for fun and recreation. The staff is super-friendly and knowledgeable. They want to make your experience great. Sometimes the lanes don't work so well because they're on the older side, but the staff will place you on a new lane if necessary. We go even not for league. They have great offers and it's an all-around great family place.

  • James Cassidy

Was totally shocked by how we were treated by the front desk guy that had the gold chain connected to a disposable medical mask. Was rude to multiple people in our group and did not explain anything well at all. The bartender who definitely had too much to drink gave my friend alcohol even though she asked for a non-alcoholic drink because she's been sober for 3 years. Had fun bowling but will not be returning.

  • Cailan J. Garrett

The evening of October 17, the front desk workers were very informative on the establishment. My mom, sister & myself had never been there before then. One of them welcomed us all & started servicing us immediately, helping us with our bowling ball & shoe sizing. The cashier at the bar was also very patient with us also. Thank you for helping us through the process. For the cherry on top, we had a blast!

  • Allen Logue

Lanes were clean and well oiled. As someone who bowls in leagues, I appreciate a bowling alley that maintains lane oil on both league and non-league days. The snacks were tasty and fresh. My only complaint is that Highland Lanes doesn't participate in Kids Bowl Free anymore; it's a great program that grows the population of bowlers and brings new customers during low volume hours on summer days.

  • David Pool

Perfect place for therapeutic bowling by yourself. Bowl a quick 3 games next to a family or hopefully bowl next to a new couple on a 2nd date. People watching is out of this world. It’s always clean and never an issue with equipment. Grill is perfect for bowling food and the bar is always popping. Don’t be a rookie and call before you go to check if there is a league or a wait for a lane.

  • Marc

My favorite bowling center in Austin. Lanes are usually oiled, staff is super nice and the alley overall is near perfect. Oh don’t forget the grill makes great food and the drinks are always cold. I travel a lot and I’m always excited to come to Austin because I usually bowl at Highlands whenever I have a chance The addiction is real lol Definitely recommended this alley!!

  • Jennifer “Jiffer” Johnson Harris

Really fun atmosphere! Glow in the dark bowling is fantastic! The staff was super friendly both at the lane/shoe rental/check out, and at the snack bar. It's over an hour drive from our house to Highland Lanes, but it's an ideal half-way point for us and friends. Bowling, funnel cake, beer, music, friends...It's the prefect mixture for happy memories! We'll definitely go back!

  • amanda Me

Been waiting about 50 minutes, 2 guys named Dave and Flip came in after they received a lane while saying hello to the guys that check out. Now I’m being told it’s not 45 minutes it is now an extra 40 minute wait. Also while 14 lanes are not being occupied. Couldn’t get an exact answer on when I could bowl. Been very patient and it’s like the guys do not know what’s going on.

  • Will Carlson

Good bowling alley with nice score terminals. The bar and kitchen remind me of every other bowling alley; good fried foods and amazing greasy burgers. One complaint that sounds a little trite, the speaker system is pretty sorry. They were cranked up to full volume and crackle and pop like they were about to burst. They weren't terribly loud though, so it wasn't too annoying.

  • Cap Bobby

If you love to bowl and love the sport this place is for you! The price is great! And can bowl lot.. we didn’t know you had to take turns. He kept going tell we got told we had to take turns. Example we had to let me go first from right or left of us. But they take forever just to set up and bowl.. so if you come try to get #1 or 40# to be at the end..

  • Graham Gassiot

Went there on Easter Sunday with my wife, 2 kids and mother in law. It was awesome. Everyone in our party was born in Austin and it felt like I was still in the Austin that I grew up in 30 years ago. My wife felt the same way. Clean, professional, and absolutely perfect. These guys know how to roll. Thank y'all so much! We'll be back

  • Shannon Friedrick

Awesome little bowling alley with a great attached grill. I went during a slow time, so it was nice and quiet, and the ball selection was great. The fried pickles and the chips and queso from the Lebowski's Grill was delicious and cooked in a timely manner. The employees were lovely, and the atmosphere wonderful. Great place to bowl!

  • Bobby Dennis

6 year old grandson said, "grandpa I've never been bowling, can we go?" - food a Google search for "children's bowling w/bumpers" and found Highland. The folks were very, welcoming & helpful. Grandson had a blast, was hungry so we ordered fried pickles and tots at the Lebowski Grill, all very good. Visit was a definite grandpa win.

  • Eric Hollerbach

I truly love this place. The parking is great! Ample, free, easy. I've rolled up on a bowling alley downtown that had street parking, and rude staff. This place, you walk in, there's parking, there's plenty of lanes. Nice people. Decent bar food. It's set up perfect. My dad came to visit from NJ, and we loved this place!

  • TD Wellsmith

My wife loves bowling so we went on Monday May 24th and had a great time - she beat me !! The only downside to visiting here was that my credit card number was stolen by the bartender and a $3532.50 charge popped up 4 days later at a Jaguar dealer in Kansas City. Lesson learned - don’t run a tab and leave your card.

  • Danny Nesbitt

A hidden gem and some of the best burgers in ATX. Bonus tip, try any of theie burgers with their always juicy crispy chicken instead of beef, you can thank me later. My favorite aside from theire burgers is the Chicken Bacon Philly sandwich. Also to note, their fries are pretty good and their tots are always crispy.

  • Christopher Hunt

This is a great no-frills bowling alley with great food at Lebowski's Grill and friendly bartenders! Don't expect a huge arcade for the kids to play while you bowl and it can be crowded during some of the weekly league nights, but the great food and friendly staff make for a great experience for people of all ages!

  • Thomas Niewiara

Highland lanes, we love going here so much that we signed up for leagues and bought our own balls and shoes. The employees here are very friendly and do an awesome job of running the place. The burgers here at Lebowskis are also some of the best in Austin and the best for sure compared to any other bowling alley.

  • Lee Nardo

This place has been here for YEAAAARSSS haha. Went to this place all the time during grade school for birthday parties, and its always seemed the same for service and expectations. I gave it 4 stars cause of the nostalgia. Good place for after work happy hour or something I guess and its proximity to Sherlock's

  • Lo

Went bowling with some friends on Saturday night. Surprisingly we did not have to wait for a lane. It was $40 an hour and you get the shoe rentals. The machines and theme reminds me of when we were kids, old school vibes. Everything worked despite it being old. Bowling was very fun. I’d definitely come again!

  • Austin Pain

A fun, clean bowling alley that serves decent dinner (very expensive, but decent quality) and that has a bunch of specials and deals for your bowling price, depending on when you come. You won't be blown away by anything, but you'll have fun! Just be sure to go during a special for a better deal.

  • rsbdotexe

They only oil before leagues. So if you're looking for a place to learn how to bowl with even slightly oiled lanes go elsewhere. My medium oil ball hooked into the gutter every time despite throwing mostly straight. Either join a league, buy a plastic ball, or find a diff alley to practice on.

  • Linda Nelle

Always a good time! The Big Lebowski serves up a really fine Poblano Fried Chicken sandwich, The Dude recommended a egg on top but I will have to say the portion was enough as is. Delicious grub at a bowling alley, classic!! The lanes are good too! I and go for the food and ice cold beers!

  • Dmitry Zakharkin

Went to this place on Sunday night as other places were packed and waiting time 1 - 2 hours. This one was packed too but they have way more lanes so I only waited 15 minutes. They have pretty good food and bar and most importantly didn't have any problems with my lane. Had great time!

  • Carl McIntyre

We were worried looking at it from the outside it would not be very kid friendly. We were mistaken, there was kid size shoes, kid balls bumpers that would go up and down for the little person's go and the staff was amazing. Was pleasantly surprised by the hatch chilli cheese fries.

  • Klean Green

Unlike some other bowling/entertainment spots in Austin, this place is fun, hip, and the employees are actually cool. Icing on the cake is the majority of the music I heard the few times I've been here is hip hop. What a breath of fresh air. Keep jamming guys and stay cool yo.

  • Donavan Green

I enjoy bowling here, especially on sunday nights, where they have a bowling special going until midnight. Always good help in the pro shop, but the best thing at this place is the Lebowski Grill. The best chocolate chip cookies ever made. Its worth the 30 minute drive for me.

  • Adriana Flores

Love the place!!! My mom had her birthday there recently and the staff treated her nicely even though she can be a bit rude sometimes and I give my apologies, but nevertheless your staff treated my mother with such kindness. I plan to have my birthday there this summer. …

  • Ricardo Gonzalez

I haven't been to a bowling alley in years (since my dad was in a league in the 90's) and I went for my birthday as i was always curious to try Lebowski's Grill. The actual lanes were clean, the people were friendly and the food was really good!! Would absolutely come back.

  • Shankar Bellapur

Good family time at this place, this place has 40 lanes but the waiting time is approx 30~40mins in the late evenings unless you are lucky like me where i got it in 10mins. There is no reservation for the lanes upfront, instead it works on a first come first serve basis.

  • DY H

Large colorful atmosphere with a full grill and site is devoted to bowling. No extra things like arcade room. Weren't too crazy about the required cost per hour to bowl $27.00 an hour plus shoe rental. Made it hard to focus on having a good relaxed time, felt rushed.

  • Gaurav Agrawal

This is a must visit place with friends and families. This place is fun filled with bowling and finger food. I went here yesterday with my 6 year and 8 year kids and Staff Nathan and Carlos is very kind and supportive. The on-site restaurant has yummy and fresh food

  • L Calisto

We had a wonderful time at Highland Lanes this weekend. The staff was so helpful with fixing the lanes when the little ones got the balls stuck. The food was good. I had made prior arrangements with Derek, which worked perfect for our parties celebration. Thank you.

  • Alejandro Basanez

Fun! , Great service, big enough so you get a lane fast, price very convenient. The only inconvenient for me was on Jan 25 because they did not accepted Bank of America credit cards and I had no cash so I have to pay commission out of their ATM to get cash to pay.

  • Lu's Reviews

Had a great time with my family here. They were playing alot of early 2000 to 2012 music so I was really vibin in there and the music was censored so I didn't worry about my kids hearing so many bad words. Host were polite. Will be back when I come back to Austin

  • Timothy Fitzgerald

nice joint lots of lanes. not as nice as Main Event or Westgate lanes but got the cool unlimited Sunday night bowling. close to lots of restaurants, bars and breweries as well as a couple of highways so easy to get to and plenty to do to make a fun evening.

  • J C

Went to this place with work a couple of years in a row. It's okay - it's family friendly and clean, but old and dingy. It smells a little as well (maybe it's all the rental shoes). Not my kind of place to go on a regular basis. I'd not eat there either.

  • Christopher R. Harding

Couldn't pick out your own ball!! Totally ruined my game! Air hockey game had water in the table blowing bubbles due to a roof leak from the snow storm! Drinks were $24 for two. Frito pie was great though! That's way they got a three instead of one.

  • bill kratz

Good place to have fun with the family or friends. Clean facility with comfortable seating. Shoe rental and good ball selection. Electronic scoring on displays. Great hamburgers and other eats and drinks. A bit pricey but worth it for a good time.

  • David Park

I've only been here once as I'm a fan of another Austin bowling lane. They both have the same feel for the most part and it looks like the lanes are maintained pretty well. I would still lean for the other place, but Highland is a good fall back.

  • K B

It seemed a little outdated. We had to go to the front to get the bumpers put on or even to add a player. At other places, you can typically do it on your assigned control panel. Another issue we ran into is that the front desk employees do

  • Paul Buschow

One of my favorite all-time bowling centers since the 1980's. Great pub grub and bar. Best bowling pro shop I've encountered since my first ball was drilled in 1983: Wes Mallot's "Strike-A-Lott Pro Shop." Professional, highly skilled and

  • Karlie Junot

I went to Highland Lanes just now and was highly Disatisfied! I am 104 lbs, 5 feet tall. I am definitely a petite woman, the size of most children. I was using a 6lb ball and then a worker came over and took it and said only children can

  • Tyler J Fisher

Lanes were WAY over-conditioned. Almost no spinning whatsoever. Can’t knock the place too much since it was $11 to bowl ten games on a Sunday evening, so still a good time, but frustrating to have to fight a ridiculous amount of oil.

  • Amanda Panda ATX

Amari was my bartender and he is absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. An absolute pleasure as a human being. This is my first time ever being in this building and I chose to come here for my birthday so he made it wonderful.

  • Michael Sessions

Probably the best bowling alley in Austin if you're looking for well-maintained lanes. The staff at the counter, pro shop, and Lebowski's are all friendly and the food is phenomenal. I wish they had draft beer, but I'll survive.

  • Angela Zubia

Great place to bowl and hang out with the family! We ate at the grill and I just want to say the two guys working the grill were hilarious! Bartender was super sweet and the staff at the front were very friendly! Great place!

  • Kevin McNair

Rental shoes are old and dangerous. Having bowled for several years, I expect the shoes to slide and when they stick, people get hurt. At $23 per hour per lane, management should be able to buy new rentals every now and then

  • Yvonne Nichols

Love bowling here. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Help when you need it w lane issues, which is not very frequent. Can't make u a better bowler, but you can enjoy the music and environment while u bowl. Good kitchen also.

  • Xpress Hail Repair

Called to verify availability, they said league night but open ones at 8:30. Showed up at 8:25 and was basically told to F off, maybe I'll get a lane at 9:00pm. I used to come here 5-6 times a week, won't be back again..

  • JUSTIN YOUNG

I still enjoy this place after all these years. I started going with my Grandpa years ago. Not very flashy, but I don't mind because they focus on keeping the lanes and equipment working right, good customer service.

  • Michael

Great place for some good, clean family fun throwing large balls at teetering pins. It is terrific fun. But, it's a bit expensive. Such is the way of the world I suppose, prices keep going up, wages remain the same.

  • Rochelle Erskine

This place has great music while bowling but the workers are not so friendly. It'd be great if the workers were alot nicer and welcoming. Other than that this is a nice place to bowl, eat, and listen to good music.

  • Terri Burghart

Lots of fun. We had to wait for a lane, but the 30-40 minutes quoted was only 15-20. Bar tender remembered our drink order and which tab it was on. Just a great relaxing place to hang out. And I got a few strikes!

  • Kirsty Indigo

This is one of the best bowling alley in town. I enjoy it on late Saturday afternoons with my friends. The lanes are well maintained and the staff are friendly. They also have food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Good place for league bowling with well maintained lanes. Update: Might be closing soon to be redeveloped, which is a shame since it's the only centrally located lanes suitable for league and professional play.

They are hiring, so if you need a job, they need help! But we had a wonderful time! Had to wait a bit on drinks as the bar was closed, but pretty sure this i due to staffing shortage. We will be back for sure!

Classic bowling alley with many lanes. The bowling ball rack should be changed because the racks are stacked too close on top of each other. When I pulled out a ball my finger got crushed between the bars.

Told our company no need to schedule a reservation Sunday is always available. We'll we show up and are told it's actually very limited and were never told about league play at 5. Lost my future business.

Awesome family fun retro feel great friendly staff. Only thing is bathrooms haven't been cleaned in a while since we went 2 weeks in a row and saw the same pubes on the urinals other than that great times

May look old school but lanes are well kept, although some lanes may need a little updating. A little maintenance cleanse. People are friendly and the food is DELICIOUS. We've gone there just for lunch.

Super nice employees. We had a fun time bowling on Easter! Everything was really clean too. Totally appreciate that. I don’t know why we haven’t been there before until today. We will go back for sure!

Straight fantastic. Looks sketchy on the outside the the inside is updated and clean. Super friendly staff and prices are great. Plus there is one of the best burger places in town inside and full bar.

  • Madison !

The bowling was fun! They have an air hockey table as well, and I came here with an org for an event. The burgers here are pretty good and for bowling, I’d say it’s a good spot to get some practice in

  • Isaac Lane-James

Came here with a camp for kids and EVERYONE enjoyed themselves due to friendly staff and everything necessary was provided! The vibe is great as well and I highly recommend for some fun with anyone!

Clean, lots of open lanes, families, teens and kids, as well as adults. I went on a Sat at 5pm and it was great. Affordable, the equipment is in good shape. Much nicer on the inside than outside.

  • Camilo Vega

The staff and crew does not care about the waiting line for lanes, they were clearly giving priority to their friends, saw this multiple times!, after 3 hours of waiting, our name moved 4 spots.

  • Ashton Parrish

This place was fun! The burgers are seriously so amazing I would even go as far to say one of the best in town. The bartender was great she kept up with getting beers for us in between bowls.

  • Tracy Partin

New! We came back again for a student event for the ACC students! We had a wonderful time. Sue and the staff treat us like royalty! And, the food, gosh, best hamburgers! Thank you, Sue!

First time going. Family mb had alot of fun. S Place seems only but very popular. Seems like alot of leagues play here. So it can get busy. Price is $27 per hour + $3 per pair of shoes.

Great Pro Shop. The team is very skilled and willing to help with anything you need. As I just joined a league, I can see me visiting the shop over and over again in the near future

  • Derek C

Their pricing is reasonable and we had a good time. Took off a star because they wouldn't let our friend use a six pound ball she is tiny but they only allow kids... It was stupid

  • Theodore Gritsonis

Cool old school bowling alley. Appreciate the kid ball being offered. Bumper lanes that pick up only for the kids turn are nice. They had lanes available and are laid back …

  • Karen Garsee

I volunteered for the Special Olympics and Highland Lanes did such an amazing job. They were extremely organized and went over and beyond to make sure the kids had a great time.

  • Toria

Has a funny smell, lol, but most bowling places do. I enjoyed it. The shoes were clean and the lanes were even. I had my selection of bowling balls and the food was decent too.

  • Antwone Hill

Great food and also good drinks anytime I'm here. Always have good service from employees and enjoy myself whether I'm alone or with a group. They always make me feel at home.

  • christopher collins

Love the old school feel! Great lane conditions, got to bowl right after league. Approaches are a little sticky but you can adjust to that. Overall great place, fair prices

  • Thiago Palhares

My son and I had a great time - and yes, equipment was great, clean, and all. But the staff was above and beyond making it a great experience. Super friendly and helpful!!!

  • Christopher Rovira

Great experience, I read most reviews about staff being rude. I saw none of that, quite to the contrary they were extra attentive since we had a little one in the party.
