Maria Monroe showed me a “Garden View” Apartment. I never heard of this sort of apartment and was concerned that it was a basement unit. Maria assured me that this unit was not a basement and explained the difference. After receiving a tour my main concern of the apartment was flooding and pest because I was still unsure about the “Garden view”. These were specifically two questions I inquired about prior to signing my lease. Again, I was assured that this wouldn’t be an issue. Second day of moving in my new apartment was swarmed with termites, they were everywhere! 2 weeks in and I’m Still dealing with having to spray and sweep these things up. Second week, my toilet started gurgling and guess what? Sewage Flood! When I contacted her on the second day she said these things happen. I find it so hard to believe that she was giving tours for a whole month and no one was aware that there were termites when I’m literally receiving visits every single day. When I contacted her about the flooding, same response. “MARIA” writes up an iron clan lease which basically makes it impossible to break with these issues and butters you up until she received her broker fee. Proceed with caution.

Where do I start? Let’s face it, moving is never fun, especially when you must be out of your current living space in a short amount of time. With everything that is happening now, it’s one less headache I wanted to take on. I responded to an ad on a real estate app, and got a very fast response. I met the broker for the listing, Maria Monroe and she is truly a blessing. Her love for what she does shows. She’s very attentive, patient and responsive. She truly cares about your needs and wants as a prospective client and handles everything very professionally. From the time we met, I saw various other listings from other agencies, but I was set on what Maria had. She has an incredibly upbeat and positive attitude and it made it that much easier to work with her. When my decision was final to pursue the apartment, I was incredibly surprised with how fast the process went. Maria is thorough and made it possible for me to get the place I wanted. Not that I plan on bouncing around (lived in my current spot for 7years) but I hope she will still be in this industry whenever it is I’m ready to make another move! I would recommend her to anyone I know. Simply the best!

VERY unprofessional. The agent Akmal tells me he took the unit off the market as we apply. We applied on the 26th. FOUR DAYS go by as I’m inquiring for updates, he tells me he never said he could take it off the market and that instead of the date promised to move in, they are waiting an extra week to weigh their options for other candidates DESPITE NO ONE ELSE SHOWING INTEREST. Neither gave an adequate reason for this despite meeting all the qualifications. The listing says available immediately or for a Sept 1st move in, now suddenly after showing interest they claim they will wait till the 4th to make a decision for other potential applicants who HAVEN’T EVEN APPLIED. Don’t bother with this company or anyone they represent.
