This is the first time we took a SUV in after a wreck and dealt with Honda and our insurance company. On 25 Aug at 9am, we took my SUV in and dropped off with Daisy, who wasn’t the nicest person to talk to, but she was able to get me on a shuttle home fairly quickly. The shuttle driver that morning was really nice and drove three of us home, I was the last and furthest out. The ride was enjoyable, smooth and easy. He even asked me if I would need to be picked up to go back to Honda. Around 4:50pm, my husband and I both haven’t gotten a callback from Honda, so we had to call. We spoke with a Beaux. He told us he was just calling us, I’m sure, and as we were on the phone with him he sent us a video of the situation of my SUV, as we choose to go through insurance. After we got off the phone with him, it was past 5pm on a Friday and we couldn’t get ahold of the insurance company, which was a big inconvenience. The following Monday my husband called USAA, spoke to Tyler, and we trusted Honda and USAA to do their job in getting our SUV fixed and taken care of in a timely manner, while keeping us informed. Tyler also informed my husband that we didn’t have renters insurance covered. Saturday, 26 Aug, we picked up a rental out of our own pocket. Tuesday, 5 Sept, rolls around and we haven’t heard anything from anyone. We called Honda and they informed us the SUV is still sitting at Honda. Why did we have a rental? My husband called USAA and spoke to Tyler and he said when they called Honda, they were closed, so it closed the insurance claim. We were never notified about this. So, our SUV sat at Honda and neither called to ask why or tell us Honda was closed. USAA then called Honda to what we trusted, again, to get this straightened out. This is also the day my husband was on his way home and got ran into on the highway with his rental. That we didn’t need. Thursday, 7 Sept, I start to call. I first called Honda, spoke to Beaux and he had no clue where the SUV was, “oh it was picked up yesterday!” “Do you know by who or where they were taking it?” “No. They just took it.” So anyone can just come and tow off a car from Honda now?? No phone call from Honda that our suv was being towed? No paperwork? Just watched it go? If you are counting. My SUV sat at Honda for 12 days, for no reason. Poor communication and customer service. There was a 24 hours that no one knew where my SUV was and it all started with Honda Hill Country.
If you are in the market for this kind of experience, than this is the dealership for you: 1) If you would like a dealer who advertises on their website a 2.9% APR on Hybrid models, go in and secure such a deal and ordering a car at that rate only to then on the day you arrive to pick it up they tell you that they messed up and that your rate will be 6.08% apr right before you are to sign the deal, then this is a dealer for you. 2) If you would like a dealer who will purchase your trade, only to then 26 days later still notice they haven't paid the loan off on the car that is sitting on their lot today for sale, only to then require you to call them 5x, go in and visit them twice, and ultimately avoid your phone calls in the finance department to see why they haven't sent it, then this is dealer for you. 3) If you want a dealer that mark up your car $3995 for a special coating and items that you may not want, only to find out that "this is just what we do on every car we have" and you have no say on whether or not you want it on your car, then this is the dealer for you. 4) If you order two parts for your car that you paid for, and still a month later haven't heard when you are getting it and when it will be installed, only to then be told every time you call to know about the status of it that your salesman, in this case Nick, will call you back, and still no one has, then this is the dealer for you. 5) If you want to carried up the point the deal is done and then be treated like dirt, ignored, transferred to voicemail of people you don't want to talk to, ignored and swindled, then this is the dealer for you.
Jonathan, our sales representative, was knowledgeable and attentive throughout the process. He made our visit enjoyable and took the time to address our questions and concerns, which I truly appreciated. However, the disappointment came towards the end of our visit. We found a car we were interested in and were ready to make a purchase. Unfortunately, we were informed that the vehicle we had been test driving and were prepared to buy had just been sold. As I understand it, the paperwork was being done while we were out driving the car. Naturally, this was disappointing, but I understand that such situations can occur. We had another car in mind, which would have been fine until the manager spoke to us. What truly soured my experience was the interaction with the manager. While I understand that unexpected situations can arise in any business, the way this situation was handled left me dissatisfied. The manager apologized for the inconvenience, but he did not take responsibility for the issue. He did not seem to respect my time as he said this was just the way the business is. I suggested he implement some sort of system to avoid mix-ups in the future, and he mentioned that he manages multiple people and implied that he could not avoid such mishaps due to his workload. This lack of accountability and responsibility for customer satisfaction left me concerned about the dealership's customer service standards. I left without making a purchase because I felt that there was no assurance that improvements would be made to prevent similar situations from happening in the future.
I wouldn't advise using the Service department. Starting from the bottom and moving up to the GM (Keith Ward). The paint on my 2016 HRV had a recall. I spoke with Phillip Shelly back in January, but I never received a call back. I returned in May, but there were no rentals. I spoke with Keith Ward, the GM, and he committed to send me a rental, but it never happened. Car was given away in July; it took three weeks. No updates on the status were provided, and when I visited the actual shop where the car was being worked on, they informed me they had dropped the car back at honda already the day before. Honda never notified me to pick the car up, I had to call them. The molding was installed incorrectly, and Phillip promised to call to inform us when it became available, that never happened. When I called, Hunter Christianson informed me that the molding had arrived the day before. Nobody approaches you and none of them want to assist you. Raheel Shaukat avoids you and retreats behind the desks of others. The trunk of the car was installed incorrectly went back to Honda to discuss solutions. When I went to see Keith Ward again, the manager stated he was in a "zoom meeting," but was on his phone. It's amazing how far some individuals will go to ignore you. It is absurd that nobody can assist when a Honda recall has been issued for the paint. I would not suggest recommending your business, particularly in the service section.
I wish I could give this dealership negative stars. Worst car buying experience I have ever had and wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from them ever. The sales people are so unprofessional, the sales guy who helped me asked me out on a date before I even left the dealership the first day. The sticker price means nothing to this dealership because they are automatically going to add an additional $3995 for a special coating and items that you may not want, but they do it to every vehicle and will slide it into the documents without mentioning it and hoping you don't notice. They tried charging me for other extra add ons that I clearly declined and the final total on the title application and the loan document totals didn't add up and no one could tell me why. I escalated my issue up to the finance director and then the general sales manager before they corrected my loan documents. They see a woman shopping for a car alone and they think they can take advantage of her. I had to make 5 total trips back and forth to the dealership before finalizing the corrected loan documents. This place was not worth the headache. I have purchased multiple vehicles from Gunn Honda without any issues in the past and I will go back to them before ever stepping foot back in this dealership for service or another vehicle.
12 Sep 2023. I purchased a use Civic from my mother two years ago! I told HCH when I brought that civic in for an oil change that I was the new owner so that employee in the maintenance dept. went to his computer and acted like he changed the info, but he didn't! I've been getting emails and phone calls for the last two years that my car service is done every time my mom takes in her new Honda, only it's not my Honda that has been serviced, but hers. They've never removed my Honda (originally hers) from her account and somehow they have my number on her account! These people are incompetent! They can't even handle getting the owner information right for your car! What quality level of maintenance are they performing on your Honda if they're that careless with easy information? I've told this dealership at least five times that my mom no longer owns that civic all to no avail! Fair warning to all who deal with this dealership these employees are dishonest and when you confront them on their incompetence they act as if they've done nothing wrong rather there's something wrong with you for exposing their folly! They don't hold to any kind of standard, which is important when dealing with automobiles that require adherence to such! I no longer deal in any way with this dealership, nor will I!
I've always been a Toyota or Lexus kinda lady. I had a perfectly good 2015 Toyota Pruis V that was paid off and I was hoping to wait out the chip shortage a few years. Life threw me a curve when my husband totaled my car. He is ok but I was thrown into a frenzy of finding a new vehicle. I researched Toyotas and decided to look into a Honda. I researched several professional review companies and wanted several different vehicles. I kept finding best reviews sending me back to Honda because of the amazing features. I contacted Hill Country Honda and was introduced to Steve Davis in sales. He was so patient with my multiple questions and my indecision between cars. I would go home and call several dealerships and I kept coming back to Hill Country Honda. I grew confident in the fact that they cared about my need for a car and were committed to helping me find one that met my need and my budget and most importantly without pressure to hurry and make a decision. Everyone did amazing job and I was quite impressed with the teamwork. I have bought several cars in my lifetime and each experience had me in a dealership at least 6 hours or more from start to finish. I finally made my decision and drove home my first Honda in no time at all!! Thanks so very much to everyone at Hill Country Honda!!!
I've been having some sort of electrical issue with my 2022 HRV. The first time I asked them to check my battery after my car had randomly died in a parking lot, they said my battery was fine and sent me on my way. 2 weeks later, the second time, they said my battery was fine, but my alternator needed to be replaced. Despite my concerns about the battery, they sent me on my way. 4 weeks later my car died again, and when I called to ask availability to be seen, whoever initially answered the phone tried to write me off as soon as I mentioned my battery. Despite the growing concerns I've had considering they just replaced a part that generally people don't replace for YEARS. Luckily, when I got there and spoke to Hunter in services, he was understanding and was able to communicate to me that my issues did seem odd and that they should have already gone ahead and replaced my battery. He explained how backed up they were because it was a weekend, but had the express service techs put in a new battery under my warranty immediately. He then told me to come back when I had the chance so that he could do a proper diagnostic check on my car. So I'm rating 3 stars because it's been a really frustrating experience thus far however Hunter was awesome and I appreciate him.
Hill Country Honda, specifically Kevin Tran (General Sales Manager) and Raheel Shaukat (Service Manager), have shown my wife and I EXCEPTIONAL customer service regarding our brand new 2023 Honda CR-V Sport AWD that we purchased earlier this year. We were recommended to go to Dealer Source Ltd for paint protection film (PPF) installation, but unfortunately, after 3 attempts over 3 weeks for them to install the PPF correctly (without any bubbles or lifted edges), we ended up with a vehicle that was in worse condition than when we started. Apparently, they trimmed the PPF on the car and left cut marks on the hood and front fenders that extended through the paint to the bare metal, thus creating a future rust concern. Feeling zero confidence in their ability to correct their mistake, we turned to Hill Country Honda. Kevin & Raheel graciously helped us and had the hood and fenders re-painted, and new PPF installed (and this time correctly!) at no cost to us. My wife and I cannot thank Kevin & Raheel enough for their OUTSTANDING customer service and taking great care of us! We HIGHLY recommend Hill Country Honda to anyone car shopping.
The service department was the worst I’ve ever seen..I waited 3hrs for a diagnosis. Had to track down Mr.Soliz, was his name. We scheduled to order parts and I waited one week, nothing! Mr. Soliz said he hurt his leg. That should have nothing to do with getting my car serviced! Two weeks of waiting for an update on anything and I gave up. I am a diehard fan of the Honda motor company. My first vehicle in life was an 83 Honda civic hatchback. Now I have a 2015 Honda Civic. This is the worst representation of the Honda motor company. The gentleman mentioned was racist and or bigoted against black and gay men apparently!! I hope black and gay men/people don’t ever go to this dealership!! Ever!! I took my vehicle to Howdy Honda in Austin Texas, where I’m always treated with respect no matter what color or sexual orientation. You should definitely go to Howdy Honda in Austin. Hill country Honda has a lot to learn about customer service and making people feel included and treated with respect!!! Thanks for nothing Hill Country Honda!!
I was told when I called about problem with my car there was a recall on it. I set appointment but once I got there this morning I was told something completely different by a lady with long wavy dark brown hair. She made me feel stupid and incompetent making the environment hostile. She proceeded to tell me that it doesn't matter what I was told on the phone because that wasn't what she's telling me and she doesn't know who would tell me that or where I even got that from and what she's telling me right now is what is going what are now going to go off of and nothing else. Continued saying Im getting told about going to happen and I can either pay or leave. she said it in a very condescending and rude way, and was talking to me as if I was a child. Definitely won't be coming back to this Honda dealership very unprofessional here in the customer service sucks off going to Gunn Honda. Will be taking my services there from now and letting everyone else I know with a honda to not go to hillcountry honda
Anyone who knows me, knows I’ve always loved Hondas. Last year I found myself in an unexpected life change & when I moved into my new house I realized my Pilot Touring didn’t fit into my one car garage. I needed to trade cars in a hurry. Almost walked away, because I was so overwhelmed (I loved my pilot), until Domingo (sales manager) stepped in to help. Hilarious, honest, & extremely helpful. Fast forward to today, I brought my car in for service. Knowing that I wasn’t completely happy with my last minute purchase (not their fault) I was introduced to Brian Gomez. I have to say, my experience with Brian was the best I’ve had in over 10 years. He was honest, very nice, not pushy, & I didn’t feel pressured by him at all. The fact that I had no intention on getting a car & left with one speaks volumes. I would highly recommend asking for Brian if you’re in the market for a new/used car. You’ll have a pleasant experience & you won’t walk away feeling robbed
A friend referred me to someone he knows at the dealership. When I arrived, I met my friend’s acquaintance and her co-worker who was there to help her. I was upfront by saying “I’m not buying a car today” while being asked questions on what I’m looking for. The vehicle presented to me had a payment of nearly twice the monthly car note that I gave. The vehicle was white, the paperwork reflected a black car, and the tag on the keys showed it is silver. Come on people. You can’t even get the color right?? Multiple times I was asked by the salesman and sales manager “how can we sweeten the deal?” I repeated myself saying “I’m not buying a car today”. I actually had to ask for my own car keys to be returned; felt like they were holding me hostage. In the grande scheme of things, I walked out irritated letting them know I would not return. If you go to this dealership, understand they are the typical used car salesmen.
Hands down, the BEST experience EVER buying a car from a dealer. These guys are honest, fair, and will treat you with the utmost respect as a customer! Jose B, Bryan Zea, and Anderson made this whole experience enjoyable and painless. Not to mention, Oscar in the finance department who was honest, and went out of his way to make sure I understood what I was signing. They even went out of their way to find me the EXACT car I wanted from a sister dealership and had it brought over to ME!! Definitely a Hill Country customer for a very long time! UPDATE 5/1/20: Had to use the service department for the first time to repair a broken windshield and David Collins, the service advisor, was excellent! He got the job done right the first time, and ensured I was given the best experience while going through the process. You guys really do know what it means to have amazing customer service!
Run. Go to Northside Honda. Don’t go to Honda Hill Country. I wish we could give 0 stars!!! My husband and I went into shop for a SUV, it felt like I was in a zoo, numbers being added onto the price for no reason, even another sales man told us he would give us a better price if we worked with him. They have no respect for each other, let alone the customer. We’ve been to this Honda Hill Country before for service, which is why we came back. But the service has gone down. There’s no communication between the team, they are sloppy and rude. One of the guys made me feel uncomfortable. Do not go here. We saw another couple who walked in and no one would help them. I asked why and the salesman flat out told us, “you can tell they don’t have any money.” We got up and left. I will happily drive in traffic to support and help out another business.
I wouldn’t discourage one not to visit hill country Honda, but I was a little disappointed with the price hike and the young lady wearing glasses and dark hair at the express service counter judgmental demeanor. The mechanics have been wonderful and helpful and even when there was a misunderstanding the young man at the desk (manager I assume) was very helpful and immediately made adjustments to my final bill due to misunderstanding. My husband tells me to go to a cheaper place instead of coming here for a simple oil change, but I can be a bit loyal to a business even to a fault. I liked coming here in the past because the male manager and mechanics are nice, professional and speak to educate you about your car without a condescending or judgmental tone. As a woman that has limited understanding of the mechanics of a vehicle, I appreciate that.
I entrusted Hill Country Honda for the purchase of my daughter’s first car, a 2022 Civic. After looking at other dealerships, makes, and models, we just didn’t feel confident to put our “precious cargo” in any other car than the Civic. We were so fortunate to have worked with Jay Prunty. He was extremely knowledgeable about Honda products, super efficient, and the absolute nicest guy you can meet. In no time at all, we drove away with a beautiful and reliable car for our baby girl that she absolutely loves. Purchasing a car with Hill Country is so easy. No harsh sales tactics, just good, quality customer service from start to finish. Thank you, Jay, for you professionalism and for going above and beyond the call of duty to help us. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, make a beeline to go see Jay, you’ll be happy you did!
A moment of silence for my 2021 Blue Civic type R. I did the good husband thing and traded my favorite car in for a 2024 Honda Pilot Trailsport. Buying a car is never fun for us until we are out the door with our new vehicle, but this was a great experience that only took 90min from walking in the door to final signature. Tevin was a great host and answered all our questions while anticipating most of what we were interested in knowing. We didn’t get offered or charged any nonsense fees, we got the terms we were looking for, and walked away with a vehicle I can live with that my wife loves. I really like the build quality of Honda, the service here was absolutely perfect, and I would definitely make Tevin my first call if I were buying another car. I’ll recommend this dealership to anyone who will listen.
My first Honda vehicle. ( but I purchased from Northside. The staff over there are awesome). I’m here at Hill Country Honda cause it’s closer. I called Hill Country Honda. Left voicemail. No call back. I set up an appointment online for oil change and tire rotation. I get here to Hill Country Honda. It’s a Saturday. I Let them know it’s my first time at this location. They seem cordial, and patiently so. I am told it’s a two hour wait. The HiLL Country website states having shuttle service. I’m told it’s only for drop off. So I’m stuck here. For refreshments, they only have coffee, tea, water. I let them know that other dealerships Mazda, Dodge, Hyundai, have pop, coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn. and sometimes pastries. And computers with wi-fi access. It’s going to be a long afternoon.
My husband and I (Tom and Sandra White) just purchased a new Honda from Hill Country Honda. Our Client Specialist is GWEN LEIGH: lovely, professional, the best Ever! We could never have had better service any other place (and we did contact other Honda places in San Antonio -- no comparison). Not enough words to describe or recommend them. ASK for the best: ask for GWEN. She even brought one of our new keys to our home on a lovely Friday afternoon: contagious smile, dedication, knowledgeable, no pressure, takes time to answer all questions, returns calls promptly, makes the process painless, keeps you informed, and stays with you through it all! Thank you GWEN! May the LORD continue to bless you ... and may you be named Client/Specialist of the year...for many years!
If only a no star option was possible. Horrible service!!! If you actually want your car repaired dont take it here. As a family we only drive Hondas but we have had issues here with service/repairs on both of them. After a $1,000 "repair" we didnt even make it home before the engine light came on and the car overheated. Took it back the next morning, waited forever only to be told they wanted another $500 to fix more issues that weren't even there the day before. The service advisor Hunter, could have cared less about any of it with no apologies for having to bring it back in and waste two days in a row. We will be finding a new shop for both cars and most certainly we will be purchasing our new Hondas at a different dealer Goodbye Hill Country Honda!!!
I bought my Pilot in for a recall last week. The passenger mirror kept dropping to where it was looking at the ground. I sent an email to my service advisor, Daisy to advise. She send me a text asking when I could bring the car in. I responded and after 2 days, had to call to get a response. Service has gone downhill, big time. No one is checking the techs work or it would seem. Also found 2 loose screws in my cup holder. My daughters recall work is still messed up so again noone checking the work being done. The one bright light was working with a new advisor, Bo. He gets a 5 star and had me on my way within an hour. He used to be in Express Service which I still rate as excellent service. Guess, I'll be taking my Pilot elsewhere for future service.
I was in the market for a specific Honda and stopped in to talk to someone about it. I spoke with Jose, and he informed us that they wouldn't have that particular model for a few weeks or more. But he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we exchanged numbers in case something changed. We ended up finding the car we were looking for at another dealership, but still had questions that we didn't feel were getting answered. I ended up messaging and calling Jose several times to ask questions. He didn't have any problem getting back to me quickly and answering me honestly. We didn't buy from him unfortunately, but I still wanted to give him a shout out for being so helpful, even when my money wasn't on the table. Thank you Jose!
My wife and I had found a Toyota Rav4 listed on autotrader at Hill Country Honda. After constant communication with the sales team and agreement upon a set date to see the vehicle we had set an appointment. The sales team had contacted me the day prior to confirm that they still had the Rav4 and if we were still interested in it, which we where. We went thru the troubles of getting a cashiers check for the purchase price. We also called when we left our home to confirm they still had the vehicle. When we got to the lot they didn't even have the car. I drove from Floresville over an hour to try to get bait and switched for a car I didn't want. They then offered me 5 gallons of gas for my troubles which I thought was pathetic.
After getting an estimate online for a trade/sell value, I got a call from a salesperson. He stated that they could give me more than what was estimated online and gave me a number, all I had to do was go in so that vehicle condition (like new) could be confirmed. I took the time and drove 25 miles to have the car inspected and I again repeated the number he gave me over the phone and asked if it looked good to which he responded, “yes”. Ended up being lowballed $3,500 less. When I asked what the issue was, he simply stated that’s what the “system” estimated. He could have saved me a lot of time and effort by telling me there is no human input over the phone. Another shady dealership just trying to get you in the door.
Waiting for the shuttle for hours so they can save money boo!! Other honda dealers get me a lyft...they don't value customers time and they judgemental!!! Then too top it all off I had to get my own ride from friend. Update## they failed to replace the clips to the cars undercarriage after oil change worst place ever hope they actually attempt to make it right by refunding their unprofessional work!!! Week Later and still no reply from company....I shoulda just went under a bridge and just let the bums take a wack at it . Itook in My car in complete and left with parts missing and charged for a over priced oil change wth??? I want my screws back (I'll install them myself) and a refund!!!!!!!!!!
Typical bait & switch dealership games. After confirming that a specific car was available to test drive, we drove the 40 minutes to the dealership only to be told the car was not available because it was in the shop for repairs and they did not know when it would be ready because of backordered parts... all information could have been shared over the phone when I made the appointment to test drive the vehicle, it was not. Said car is still being advertised today when not available. Don't waste your time. It's the typical game of making you go out to their dealership with the hope that you'll consider another car when the one you're interested in is all of a sudden not available. Disappointed!
I have always love coming to this Honda. It is big, clean, and very nice. The workers have always been nice and polite too. I recently ran into a major problem though, when I took my car in to get an oil change the mechanic let me know that the plug was hard to screw back in. While he did inform me of this problem he did not explain how big of a problem this is, and due to my lack of car knowledge it resulted in a critical mistake. I ended up leaving with the plug barely in, after about a week all the oil came out suddenly breaking the motor. I feel that this mechanic should have better explained my cars problem to avoid this major, expensive problem that could have easily been avoided.
Nothing but a great experience. Kudos to my sales guy Jonathan at Hill Country Honda. I flew in from DFW to purchase a 2023 Civic Type R. Picked up at the airport and dropped off at airport when the deal was done. Very professional and personal. Thumbs up. For reference, none of the local Honda dealers in the Dallas Fort Worth area were willing to open a dialog about working a deal on this car. Jonathan gave the respect to conversate. Thank you. Arranged to have the car delivered to Colleyville Texas through a transport company recommended by the dealership. Making full use of the car. Thank you again.
Getting car maintenance/service is pretty quick, they give you a print out but are rude. Finance guy will be a hassle to get the contract from. Almost a whole month to receive it and never had that issue before with any new car. When called to give a survey of treatment during process of picking a car, I told them a certain salesman was pushy and ignoring what I was asking him to show me and had to ask another man for help which finally was listened to with the second salesman. Was told to cut first man slack since he was new. I was amused because you asked for an honest opinion and I told you.
Chuck Marsh at Hill Country Honda is on point! If you need someone that will go the extra mile to help you find a car he is your guy. Our son has severe allergies, and he went the extra step to make sure that our car was detailed and in perfect condition for him. We drove four hours to come to the dealership, and when we got there, it did not disappoint. Chuck is a salesman who does the right thing for the customer, and his focus is on repeat business. He made the car buying experience as pleasant as it possibly can be. When you pull up, ask for Chuck
My wife went to Hill Country Honda, 15 minutes before closing time with a flat tire issue. The Service Department staff was very professional and recognized the importance of helping her with this safety issue. They identified the problem quickly and helped get her back on the road, safe & sound. The dedicated staff & technicians stayed past closing time. We appreciate their dedication & will continue to bring our Honda Pilot to them, knowing we can count on them. Please pass on this special thanks from us. Thank you. Mr. D. Mares
Steve Davis was a pleasure to work with, he made my experience very comfortable and was efficient. We worked out our deal with ease. I live a few miles from the dealership and he came to pick me up in the car I was interested in purchasing. I did the test drive on the way back to the dealership. After he found out what I was looking for in with the purchase we came to terms quickly with very little hassle unlike what I’ve experienced in other car buying experiences. I will definitely be giving him a call next time! Thanks Steve!
My experience at this dealership was just over the top! My sales Rep was Jose Ramirez. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, personable, and all around wonderful. I had been to 6 dealerships previous to my visit here at Hill Country Honda and just what a difference this experience was. This is my fourth time purchasing a vehicle in my lifetime and this was by far the best car buying experience thus far. I can't thank this team of my sales rep Jose Ramirez and my finance manager Rey Hernandez enough for such a great experience.
Had gone to a previous dealer the day before, was on my way to that dealer to finish a deal. Decided to stop by Hill Country Honda to see what they had. Jose Arevalo is the go-to man, he is very welcoming and friendly. He understood my wants, made the process super simple, and found me what in my eyes is the perfect car. In a couple of years, will definitely be buying my next vehicle here! Again, I 1000 times recommend Jose Arevalo. If you’re a Spanish speaking family, no issue either he speaks Spanish too!
Thank you so much genesis for such an amazing experience at shopping for my sisters second car. It was a pleasure having you take the lead for this search of a new vehicular. You were AMAZING from the start! I highly highly recommend shopping for your car needs at hill country Honda. Everyone in and out of that dealership were very welcoming. Genesis was amazing at accommodating a perfect time to help get my sister into her beautiful new car. Ask for genesis if you ever need help getting into a new vehicle!
Sales person was pretty good, followed his script well. Apparently the manager either chose to forget or tried to pull a fast one on us. He said he would knock off money due to the convertible top not working, sat down and shocker no money was taken off, full price! Almost walked out then and there. Gave them one opportunity to meet my price and luckily they did. No one has time for the stupid sales game anymore, managers need to change with times! They played the same games when I sold cars 23 years ago.
Had the worst experience today at Hill Country Honda. I took my vehicle in for a brake light replacement. I was given a quote of $32.00 to replace the bulb, two hours later I was still waiting. I asked how much longer, I was told 15 minutes. About 30 minutes later they call me and tell me the charge will now be $500+ for the bulb replacement. I was in shock. Why couldn’t they figure this out before quoting a price of $32.00. I took my keys and left the place. Terrible business. A true disappointment.
I came in on a Saturday to get an oil change. As I sitting down waiting I noticed that I didn't see my car. When I went to ask Zach said it was somewhere outside in line . So rude he could have gone outside to check but thank goodness Travis asked for my name and went outside to check and said that it was our there. Hill Country Honda needs to hire more servicewriters like Travis who goes above and beyond with us customers. Zach can learn some points on how to respect the customers concerns.
Do not get your vehicle maintained here. Every time I have an oil change I end up with a puddle of dripping oil on the ground at home. They do not clean up after they remove the drain plug and filter which can cause you to bring it in for a diagnostic fee for a leak. Speaking of diagnostic fees they used to not charge for any diagnostic. Now it is $165 which is waived if you get the repair. I was told the dealership was recently bought out which caused the price change. I will never be back.
Wow just can’t say nice enough things about my experience. First of all, one of the managers Domingo was super friendly right out of the gate. He hooked me up with one of his sales guys quickly. Then later came back by to thank me for my purchase. The sales guy Cristian was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, patient and just a super good dude. They got me an insane deal on a new family car! Shout out to Hill Country Honda for a pleasurable and progressional car buying experience!
Everyone was pleasant great customer service. Fast service did not have to spend endless hours waiting to leave the lot with my vehicle. Sales rep attended to all my needs and even got a lower payment when it came down to financing. Overall I was satisfied with my experience I recommend anyone before going into a buy here pay here or in house financing or going to other dealers to go to HILL COUTRY HONDA first you will not be disappointed large selection of all vehicle types .
Quite possibly the smoothest transaction we’ve ever had while purchasing a vehicle! Talk to Chuck, he was open and honest the entire time. He fought to get us the car we wanted, even when there was another person looking at the same car. If you’re looking to purchase here, please do! And talk with Chuck, you won’t be disappointed. Also, Michael helped us with financing, he’s great! Hill Country Honda has a great team. Thank you Chuck And Michael for all the help!
NOW THIS IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE…. I PURCHASED A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IN JULY AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO PAY OFF MY TRADE IN. I GOT AN ALERT ON MY PHONE SAYING MY CREDIT SCORE WAS IMPACTED. I LOOK AT MY REPORT AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT PAID MY TRADE IN OFF IT IS SEPTEMBER. ON TOP OF THAT MY CAR WAS SOLD TO ME WITHOUT MENTION OF THERE BEING BLUND SPOT DETECTION. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN AND I KNOW SOMEONE BETTER FIX THIS ISSUE FAST
I had a great experience with Gwen Leigh at Hill Country Honda!!! I had spent days looking for a pre owned vehicle and I knew exactly what I could spend. My dad and I went in there looking for a specific car and Gwen was immediately kind, helpful, and reassuring. I knew exactly what I wanted and she not only made it happen but it was such an easy process. From being greeted to ending in finance it was an overall good experience.
John Medelez helped me in getting my new 2022 Honda Accord Sport! He did such a great job. He’s the best car salesman there can ever be, he helps you find what you want or looking for. He also makes sure you (the buyer) has all their questions answered. If I ever had any concern he was always available to hear and help me with what I needed. I couldn’t have asked for any other salesman because I am super happy with my new car.
I walked in and was met by Pedro G. We talked about the car I was looking for and less than an hour and a half, I purchased what I came for. The best part was some of the side conversations we had about life, family, and what it means to be a humble human. Rey (finance manager) was awesome. No frills, no gimmicks, just business. I cannot be more grateful for the team at Hill Country, keep doing what you do!
Outstanding Service from Hill Country HONDA this past wknd, all HC Honda Associates were very accommodating and readily able to assist and answer questions with no delay and plenty of adherance. 5-STARS to my sales guru Ms.GwenLeigh who was very attentive and "can do" service requests, nothing was "non-negotiable" and most was acceptable. Well Done Ms.Gwen!! More to possibly come once I get car delivery.
Patrina Parker at the front desk was an absolute sweet heart. I'll be looking forward to my future service visits on my new honda just to have another chat with her. My sales consultant Tevin Hernandez put in the work to get me my very specific CRV. He was a delight to work with and I highly recommend him. He was quite knowledgeable and treated us with respect. Thanks so much Hill Country Honda!
The sales manager here is by far the rudest salesperson I’ve ever experienced! When I spoke to him, he acted as if he was above approach and I shouldn’t be talking to him. He proceeded to start talking as if he was talking to a child… which was a big NO for me. I stopped him, and I will politely take my money else where. This dealership experience is pushing me away from Honda.
Eko Wahyudo was amazing. He made the whole experience awesome for me and my family. It really felt like he cared about the whole buying experience and that I wasn't just another number. I had shopped at 5 other Honda Stores and I felt like I got the best price and best value for my trade-in. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dealer with integrity and a great deal
Wonderful and easy time purchasing my first car. The minute I saw it on the lot I knew it was my car. The guys and gals at Honda made this a pleasant experience especially Mr. Medelez, he was knowledgeable and helped in finding what was available and when it was coming in. I already know that I will love this car for years to come. Honda Strong. Love my blue beauty
I had an incredible experience at Hill Country Honda this past week! The staff was accommodating, very enjoyable to be around, and respectful of my time. Elijah Alvarez personally helped me find my dream car and was there for me whenever I reached out to him for questions or concerns. If you're looking for a new vehicle, I highly recommend you ask for him!
I came in today and austin maybrier helped me out. He made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was able to get us driving on the road with our first car! We are so happy and so excited and appreciative of his help along with the whole honda team. Great hospitality and great work!will recommend!
This was actually the first stop I made in my vehicle venture, and I was able to get the first car I picked! How lucky was I to get Joseph as my dealership advisor; he was so helpful and explained everything each step of the way. Big thanks to Pedro and the GM.. for taking the time to sit and talk with my ALL my family to make this happen!
We had a great experience here we met with Sales Representative Austin Maybrier. He was very professional and very kind. He went over the top to make sure that we were comfortable, we were also very excited to make a purchase on our first vehicle with him, definitely recommend y’all to check up with him if interested in buying a vehicle.
I had a great experience buying a vehicle at Hill Country Honda. My salesman Pedro Sanchez wasn't pushy, demanding, or like the other dealerships that if you don't buy it now, it won't be here. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. This place was so nice the finance guy was super nice. I got a fair deal and recommend this location.
Great experience! We went to look at a used 2023 F15 on the lot but walked out with a great deal on a 2023 Ridgeline RTL-E Certified at 2.9% Honda Financed loan. The slight difference in price is well worth the so many extras on the RTL-E. Thanks Chuck for showing us the Ridgeline and making the purchasing process so easy.
Such a great car buying experience! Chuck Marsh went the exta mile to deliver great service!! He even came in to work on his day off to make sure my car was perfectly ready for me! The Finance representative was also very helpful and patient, even while waiting for the bank to process my down-payment. Such an awesome team!
Thank you sooo much to Pedro Sanchez and Team for my Wife's new 2023 Honda Odyssey Elite! They made the whole process super easy. Me & My Wife absolutely love it and so do the kids! I highly recommend going to Hill Country Honda. Mr. Pedro, His Manager & the Finance Guy (If I'm not mistaken his name is Ric) was amazing.
Great. Wonderful service. Nick was great a lot of patience. Went through everything. Left nothing out. He made it such a pleasant experience. He is a great asset to the company. Everyone was friendly and helpful and their facility is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend this company. Nick went over and beyond.
I had a very difficult situation and am Thankful that Kevin Tran and Pedro Sanchez and Michael Sanchez were able to take very good care of me. Because of these wonderful Gentlemen I am a very Grateful and Happy Customer. Thank you to Hill Country Honda and there awesome dealership. I highly recommend this dealership.
The Hill Country Honda team did a great job of clarifying what was covered for our certified preowned vehicle. We thought certain items were covered when they weren’t and even though they didn’t have to they still provided the needed repair as if it were covered. Thank you team.
Thank you Hill Country Honda for helping me purchase my first car! I had an absolutely amazing experience thanks to Genesis’ help. She was able to help me purchase the exact car I had been wanting for months now. The customer service was great and it was very easy with her help.
Purchased a new Honda pilot from this dealership. Have nothing but the best to say about Honda and this dealership. I would Highly recommend this dealership. I was concerned about over paying and they were very accommodating. Also, the sales lady Gwen (spelling?) is top notch.
Roland was an amazing service coordinator. The process was smooth and he kept me up to date the whole way. They went above and beyond providing a rental when the parts were going to take longer than expected. Would highly recommend Hill Country Honda do any service..
Hill Country Honda was a GREAT experience. Jay Prunty was an amazing individual who helped me get my first car! His awesome customer service made the whole process soothing, and I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a car to come here! Overall wonderful experience!
Hands down the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Genesis was AMAZING and diligent on getting me the best deal! Paperwork was quick and painless and overall customer service was superb. Will definitely be recommending to all my family and friends!
Was looking for two new affordable & gas efficient vehicles & Jose Arevalo was very helpful on getting me set up on what I needed. Was very knowledgeable on the features & made the process very smooth, was out of the dealership same day with my new cars.
Great experience with Chuck Marsh and the Hill Country team! Bought our second vehicle from them, and both were the easiest car-buying experiences we’ve ever had. A great deal on a great vehicle, with people who value your time—definitely recommend.
Andre did a great job helping me get our CR-V and was very personable. He made the experience comfortable. Took a bit longer than previous cars I’ve bought, so that’s my main feedback for them. Great experience though, happy with our deal we made!
Took my parents to get a brand new pilot and Chuck the sales man was very polite and worked with to get the best deal my parents could afford. I I truly recommend Chuck if you are looking for a new or used vehicle for your next purchase.
Pedro Sanchez and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make this deal happen. I am already recommending this dealership to my friends and family whole- heartedly. Five stars are not enough for the excellent service we received.
Just bought a car about a week ago and my salesman Jose was a BIG help on choosing the right car for me with everything I was looking for in a car would definitely recommend Jose if you go buy a car there really friendly and very helpful
Very helpful with every question we ask. Michael McGarity was an awesome salesman. We experience good vibes with no pressure. You guys rock !!!! My wife loves her new Pilot Elite.THANK YOU Y’ALL FOR THE GOOD EXPERIENCE AND HELPING .
This is my second car from Hill Country. Very pleased with the customer service there. My car was totaled and I started looking early. Nick H. was very patient and when it became time to purchase we were in and out within 2 hours.
I always come here and never have any issues! The employees are always so respectful, informative, and kind!!! You can tell they love what they do. Thank you for always assisting me and making my life easier!
This was quite literally the best experience I ever had buying a car. From the friendly staff to the processing. 10 out 10. We were in and out in 2 hours and that even included the negitations with finance.
Gwen Leigh is awesome. Went there not looking to buy and she made sure we were not pressured. We ended up buying a new Honda pilot because of her. Definitely recommend everyone go see her for a new car.
I just moved back into town and this is my new favorite Honda service store. Travis and his team in the Express Service get the job done! In addition to offering great customer service and pricing.
While we did not purchase a vehicle through Hillside, the customer service we received was amazing. Very courteous and transparent. I highly recommend asking for David Torres; great communication!
As a first time car buyer I could have not asked for a better car buying experience. I recommend Chuck Marsh for any help in buying a car he made sure I had a smooth car buying experience!
Patrick Carrillo is the best sales guy ever! Took care of me and got me into the perfect car! If you ever need a car ask for Patrick he'll take care of you no hassle!
Advertised online price for vehicle was good and at market. Tried to slap 4k in some package on top of it when quoted. Undervalued trade in by 4k KBB value. Unreal.
Travis runs the express service with expertise!!! Thank you for your prompt attention to my vehicles needs. And the staff is great!!! Travis needs a promotion.
Mike McGarity was awesome to work with, he was very forthcoming and knowledgeable. I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire car-buying experience.
Austin gave me the best customer service at Hill Country Honda. Made the process smooth and understood my needs and financial approach.
Cristian Padilla was our salesman and did his damn thing. Got us a killer deal on a new civic hatchback. Quick service.
Unprofessional and not knowledgeable. Have taken the vehicle multiple times just to have it worse. Horrible experience.
This is the best dealership I have ever been to. Professional, courteous, friendly and made buying a vehicle easy.
