Disappointed in my service with Hofmann Bros. I was a member of their monthly plan when my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air last year. A tech came out and I was told it needed a new TXV. $2700 later and the air was cool. A month later the same part broke and they fixed it because it was under warranty. I continued to have issues of the house maintaining a temp, it could never get below 75-76 in the hot months, humidity levels in the 80s. After multiple times of a tech coming out I just kept being told my 5 year old unit was “working to the best of its ability.” Fast forward to this year, the same thing happens, AC not blowing cold air. This time Hoffman Bros says it needs a compressor) I decide to get a second opinion and I’m told the unit was filthy (which is included in my HB membership and was not recommended or done by the tech) and the TXV (that HB installed now twice) isn’t metering Freon correctly and it needs a new one. I decide to let this company fix it because I no longer trust HB, at the same time he does say it needs a compressor so I also get that fixed. Now that it’s fixed CORRECTLY my air has never been colder, humidity levels in the house stay below 60%, and I can get the house cooled easily. The new company said a TXV has to be welded in correctly or the components can break and he said the previous TXV looked like it had been welded in by a 5 year old. I’m convinced HB sent out a tech who couldn’t correctly install the TXV the first time which is why it went out a month later and again a year later. I called to cancel my HB membership and talk to someone and was told someone would call back. Guess what, no one called and I got an email my membership was cancelled. Don’t waste your time. Find a local home-owned company who knows what they’re doing.

I don’t have the education, the tools, or the talent to perform the service that you and your colleagues consistently provide. Thanks again! I am totally impressed by your initiative to purchase a tool specifically for measuring the speed of air leaking from poorly sealed doors, cracks beneath doors, and cracks in lighting fixtures as well as the speed of air going into the return vent. I had no idea there was such a cool gadget to quickly solve the problem. Thanks again! (Early August) Thanks for the help with the mini-split, Brandon! (Late June) Thanks again to Brian and his colleagues at Hoffman for seeing this project all the way to completion. I am very happy with the work and now have a far healthier and quieter home. The service tech that came to my house was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and informative (I think his name was Trent). He sent a detailed report of his findings along with several repair options after his visit. Then the salesman came to compare the repair options vs installing an entirely new system and he was also informative but insisted on both my wife and I being home during his visit, which isn't convenient for our work schedules, but we made it happen. I then called their office and asked to join in their protection plan for all of my home systems and told them my choice from the repair options laid out by their service tech. The office staff didn't seem to have any knowledge of the options that were emailed to me by their system, never tried to schedule the repairs or set me up to be in their protection program. Would have given zero stars if not for the service tech that did a thorough job and was very friendly - he gets 5 stars, the rest of the company left a lot to be desired. I feel like if I had chosen to replace the entire system, which would have been 8-10x more expensive than the repair job, that they would have delivered better customer service. Will not recommend to others in my area.

I chose Hoffmann Brothers to buy and install my new heat/AC HVAC system. Kris came out to talk about my needs, and helped me find the system for my house. He was polite, and professional. He was very well informed which helped me choose my new system. The installers were Brandon and Matthew mostly. They were super nice, cleaned everything up after themselves, and wore shoe covers inside. They didn't stop until the job was done. It was about an 11 hour day for them. (Shout out to the electrical guy, cant recall your name, he had a whole machine shop in his box truck, and custom fitted the duct work) I have no complaints, the system runs great so far, and they did a great job relocating my unit outside. They do the concrete pad and everything. I didnt have to do any of it. Everything is new, right down to the thermostat. Love it. I will call Hoffmann Brothers for my future HVAC and plumbing needs. They have high values and run their business as though they care about customers. Something that is rare these days.

I called to have my exterior underground drain lines from my gutters inspected for blockages. It was a great experience, someone picked up on the second ring and I had my appointment scheduled within 10 minutes. The appointment was scheduled for the next morning, so great turnaround time! Our inspector, Henry, showed up on time, gave me the full rundown of what he was going to do, and did it all in a professional manner. When he was done, he gave me the full rundown of my options, priced it out and provided documentation on the spot. All in all this took about 2 hours, with me popping out from time to time when he wanted to update me. Great experience overall, would definitely recommend them! Henry was great and did his work in an efficient and professional manner. The only negative is- The service callout fee does not include any diagnostics, that is in addition to the service fee. I was under the impression small diagnostics were included in the call-out/service fee.

Hoffman Brothers recently added an electrical division here in Nashville, and they sent Jimmy Schwer out to my house to install an electrical outlet in our pantry for a closet microwave, and to install a whole-home surge protector into the breaker box/control panel. Jimmy did an outstanding job and was a super nice guy. I can’t say enough about the overall professionalism of this company and their technicians. They truly take the time to sit down with you and explain all the work that needs to be done, pricing, and provide options, which I appreciate. The customer service is top notch, all the way down to the consistent phone calls and texts to let you know where the technician is, estimated arrival, etc. The communications from this company is something other companies should aspire to. Thank you Hoffman Brothers. I certainly will know who to call for future electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance needs.

Their technician (Brian Heiser) came to look at my AC unit but due to an issue with my HVAC system he was unable to do any diagnostics, he charged me for doing literally nothing ($100) but at the time he was super kind and said he would come back and wave any additional diagnostics fee the next day (since I just paid for it), he literally said it to my face. After he left the company called to confirm the appointment for the next day and when I told them what the technician said about waving the fee they contacted the technician and said he denied ever it. They literally could care less about the client, I was even planning on signing up for their yearly maintenance service, they would’ve made so much more money on me. Honestly I highly recommend going with Hiller, I found them to be far more professional and trustworthy, they also seemed to actually care.

The professionalism and quality of work from Hoffmann was great. The plumber who inspected the issue did the work immediately and quickly despite being near the end of the day. The reason I removed stars is the lack of transparency about pricing and the overall high price. I was given an estimate and charged accordingly, so I knew what I would be paying which is fine. The job took just over 2 hours, and I estimate there were around $150 of parts used, but the bill was over $1000. On top of this there was no itemized parts, materials, and time on the estimate or final bill. They also charged both the inspection fee and the estimate, but I am used to the inspection fee being waived if you decide to do the repair. While the work was great, I wouldn't recommend Hoffmann because the price is higher that I think is reasonable for the amount of work done.

My tankless hot water stopped working so I called Hoffman Brothers because my usual plumber was out of town. Jason showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He was very clear as to the potential charges for the repair. After investigating, it appears that the previous owner of my home hadn’t serviced the unit since it was installed in 2008. It was filthy. Jason cleaned out the filth and got my hot water up and running. He was clear about the cost from the get-go and adjusted his estimate based on what he found. I never felt like I would be surprised by the bill. He also advised me of recommended service times going forward and that their work had a year warranty. I felt like I got a good value for my money with a respectful, professional and pleasant service person. I would definitely recommend Hoffman Brothers and Jason.

I called Hoffmann Brothers plumbing on a Friday when our Navien tankless hot water heater started leaking. We were going on vacation on Sunday so were anxious to have the repair done before we were leaving. Rodney Gardner was dispatched to our call for service. He was accompanied by another technician. They identified the problem immediately and called to see if a local business had the part we needed. They went and picked up the part at 4:30 on a Friday and repaired our hot water heater by 5:30. Rodney and the other gentleman were friendly, efficient, and professional and knew what they were doing. We will definitely call Hoffmann Brothers again for our plumbing needs. We are very satisfied with the excellent service we received.

Josh came out to our office, Xtreme Exteriors LLC, and fixed our plumbing issue, which included pulling up the toilet and unclogging the drain for both the men's and ladies' room; he was professional, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly--he even pointed out that our back flow was leaking, something that we had just had inspected by the city (and passed the inspection on). Josh finished fixing everything quickly and even mopped up the restrooms when he was finished so there wasn't any nasty clean-up for me to deal with! I would absolutely recommend Josh and Hoffman Brothers Plumbing to anyone who has any kind of plumbing issue! Thank you for doing a great job!

We had some disagreements at first in how everything was going to be handled and I expressed my discontent. Brian didn't make me feel bad for having disagreements, but understandably his decision making is limited in some regards. Given the fact that I had the system installed by them, he had a manager reach out to me within 20 minutes and we talked. I can't remember his name, but he was very nice. There were some mistakes made on my part it sounds like, but he went above and beyond to reconcile the situation and we agreed to get what is needed done in a way that I think is fair for both parties. I'm still happy and would recommend

Billy was one of many people I spoke to about getting our upstairs attic converted space some proper heating/cooling. While most folks focused on selling me a new system, Billy took the time to study the system that was currently existing at my property. He then proposed the best approach for investing into my existing system in a way that would satisfy our current cooling needs and set us up well for future expansion when our current system hit its end of life. Cannot stress enough the patience and pure philosophy that the Hoffman Brothers encourages in their people. Great work & great experience overall !

Brandon did a great job installing my new split A/C unit. He showed up on time at 7:00AM and put shoe covers on before interning the house. After showing him where to enter the attic he explained what he would be doing as well as telling me he would go over the total insulation when he was done. Then he put down flooring cover to protect my property which I really appreciate. Brandon was done by noon and then took me through his install as well as should me how to use and program the new thermostat which is a blessing due to the fact some are harder to program. I will use Hoffmann again in the future.

Oh my God, what can I say about Hoffman Brothers but they're simply great. I called them on a Wednesday they came and looked at my house and gave me a great estimate and they installed my products on Friday. They were professional they were on time very discreet the technician Tanner is the best and he will advise you of what's the best thing that you need to put in your house. If you don't go with these people you'll be a fool. If you're not satisfied I'll pay for your gas for them coming out there that's how much I believe in this company. Lol.. Give him a try you won't go wrong.

This weekend our hot water went out. I made the service request on Sunday and they were at my door first-thing Monday morning. Their team (Rodney and Blake) were extremely professional and provided guidance on my current issue and options available to remedy it. They did not up-charge or push any one solution, instead they talked through the pros and cons to each option. By lunchtime, I had running hot water and assurance that I’ll have it for years to come. Highly recommend Hoffman Brothers for any plumbing or HVAC needs (they provide our house with any AC maintenance as well).

Hoffman Brothers took a look at my unit and told me I needed to replace the whole unit due to a leak and quoted me 9k. I had two other HVAC companies come out to take a look at my unit and both of them said that there was no need to make repairs or even change out the unit. Hoffman Brothers used a scare tactic to make me spend way more than I needed to. The other companies quotes were half as much as Hoffman Brothers for a full AC unit swap. I will never use Hoffman Brothers again and I urge people to please get different quotes if they’ve dealt with Hoffman Brothers.

Jake and his team were extremely courteous, professional, and efficient. They wore booties inside the house, laid floor covering in the space where they worked, and cleaned up after delivering on their service promises to fix my leak. What’s more, Jake is a very effective, patient communicator who carefully walked us through each step of what he intended to do. In the midst of an extremely stressful upstairs leak, he made us feel calm and reassured. The best part is that he fixed the problem. We’ll definitely be using Jake/Hoffman again. 10/10 experience.

David with Hoffman Brothers was Prompt, Professional and very Knowledgeable. We felt comfortable with the work he proposed and provided to take care of our kitchen faucet pipe leak. He found the issue and let us know what it would take to fix the problem. We feel we were quoted a fair and reasonable price for the work and experience he provided. We would definitely consider using Hoffmann Brothers again and we would refer them to friends and family. David was great! he made sure to clean the work area just as he found it before leaving.

We have a very good experience with Hoffman Brothers at all levels. The manager who came over for the initial “quote” visit thoroughly explained all the important details which helped me understand what we were paying money for. The installation team was professional and organized. They didn’t leave any dirt in the house. The air conditioning system has been working properly. The tune-up visit addressed more issues than was on the original plan. Overall, a very good experience with this company.

Hoffmann Brother's were great! Same day service estimate for our water heater repair. From the phone call to request services to the repair person coming to the house, everyone was professional and very friendly! When you're in a stressful situation, it helps to have someone be straight forward with you on repairs and costs. They gave us multiple quotes based on our requests, answered all of our questions and showed up the next day to install. We will be using them for any future repairs needed!

My AC wasn’t pushing out cold air last night and made an online appointment for tomorrow. Within 15 minutes they called to let me know that they could have someone here today and I didn’t have to wait- within 2 hours Brian showed up. Very professional, let me know every thing he could and have great guidance on what repairs to do. Fixed the issue on the spot and got us repair quotes for everything else. Will be using Hoffman for all HVAC needs going forward- really happy with the service.

I had a flood of water in my utility room from a furnace clogging, they showed up within a few hours after calling and did a killer job. They not only unclogged the system, got rid of the water in the unit, but they cleaned the outdoor portions and after signing up for their membership, are preparing to follow up on their repairs and tune up soon. This was such a wonderful experience, I’m oddly looking forward to working with them again (hoping it’s only for a tune up next time)

I called Hoffmann Brothers in a panic after a self installation job went south. Not only were they responsive, they were able to get me an appointment for the next morning! I appreciate Matt's expertise and professionalism in getting the job done for us. He was very informative, had the job done in about an hour, and even took the boxes that my faucet and garbage disposal came in. I had never used this company before, but would recommend to homeowners in the Nashville area.

Hoffman has serviced a couple of my properties for the past year and I have had a great experience with them. Most recently, my AC stopped working and after significant troubleshooting on my end, I determined I could not fix the problem. Trent came the next morning and did a thorough evaluation of my system and diagnosed the issue. He did a great job explaining the problem and other potential issues. He was very knowledgeable and articulate. So far so good with Hoffman.

Customer service was fantastic, everything was really streamlined and efficient. We are able to get on their schedule quickly too! We had a new unit put in after our old unit started acting up so we had three appointments first the tech came out to take a look and was so nice on time and really helpful. Second appointment was to sort out what type of unit we needed also so pleasant, and lastly the install, again they were absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend!

Had a concern regarding a high electric and water bill. Called on a Saturday evening and they came out Monday morning to inspect. Upon speaking with Jason, he was able to find a leak in our crawlspace as well as replace our water heater and toilet components. I feel so much better that the plumbing on the home is in good shape now. I only wish I had called sooner. All repairs were done same day and I am happy to leave a positive review!

My main breaker went out last week and Travis Binkley came out to replace it. He went above and beyond because he helped me out with my breaker for my AC unit which also busted along with the main! I really appreciated Travis's professionalism and the fact that he stayed longer than expected to get me back up and running. I have used Hoffman Brothers for multiple repairs over the last several months - I am always pleased with their knowledge, professionalism, and quality work. I made an appointment on Monday for a bathtub drain issue and was able to get on the schedule for first thing Wednesday. The providers arrived at 7:15am and provided a quote for a series of repairs, providing me options based on price and priority. Highly recommend!

We had our HVAC system fully replaced including duct work and new vents. This was a significant investment for my husband and I. Thomas Bowen with his team Matthew & PJ handled our home with care, respect, and positivity even when faced with unexpected challenges. Rodney was very punctual and professional. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave some helpful tips on preventative maintenance on extending the life of our water boiler and garbage disposal. When the new gasket for the toilet didn’t do the job quite right, he installed another new gasket to complete the fix. I’m happy with his service and would call Hoffman again should any new needs arise.

I called for service around 8 o’clock in the morning and they had someone at my house within three hours! Josh was the technician that did the service work and he was excellent! He was careful to explain all of the charges prior to doing any work and he was quick getting the job done. He also explained that there is a one-year warranty on their service which gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend using them!

I selected Hoffman because of the great reviews and I was not disappointed. They handled every aspect of the appointment professionally. Tanner was prompt and courteous and completed our job (replaced a chandelier on a high ceiling) without any issues. He also made sure the dimmer was working properly and took away the old fixture. These guys came out within a few hours and took care of our power issue, they then returned and completely fixed the issue. Not only were they kind and courteous, they were very professional. At no time was I uncomfortable with the workers or did I think they were not working hard to get the job done. This was the absolute best repair service I’ve had yet and I have plenty more I will call them for.

I got an EV that overloaded the breaker (or something, I don't know the right terms). Had no power in the garage outlets. Called Hoffman Brothers at 10am and Travis showed up by noon. He was really nice and thorough. He not only fixed my issue, but also answered any other questions I had about other electrical stuff in the house. Best of all, I didn't cry when I saw the price. Absolutely recommend!

Mr. Jeffers showed me what was wrong, explained how to maintain the upgrade and the rest of my toilets if this happened to happen again. He helped me save money by accurately telling me what was wrong instead of trying to get me to buy more services. He was very friendly and I really appreciated his time. Yesterday, my kitchen electric shorted and we couldn't get the power back to the fridge. Hoffmann had Travis + Ben out to my property this morning and the problem was fixed quickly. Both Travis + Ben were an absolute delight and also got us connected with the Plumbing sector of Hoffmann to have a toilet replaced. 10/10, most definitely recommend.

Josh and his partner were great! They came in and gave me a run-down of the steps they were going to take, did their inspection, had options and quotes for me, and took care of my issue. We love the Hoffmann Brothers! We had a sewage smell that was incredibly hard to pinpoint and Henry and Josh came out multiple times to help find solutions that worked for us. We ended up having to repipe and the team was very professional and thorough and kept us posted throughout the process. Communication has always been great!

Jake did a great job. He diagnosed the problem and presented me with a number of options. Perfect! They showed me the big clog of grout that was clogging my drain pipe, re-pitched the whole crawl space, added a clean out. Needless to say I am well pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend their services!

We desperately needed an overhaul of our HVAC system. They were professional, courteous, efficient, communicative, and comprehensive. I had calculated costs independently for the overhaul and their estimates and redesign matched mine, so also very fair with pricing. Really top notch service.

Hoffmann has been great! We had them do some gas line work, and replace our HVAC units. Hoffman will charge a bit more than you expect, but we found it was well worth it. Exceptional customer service. Professional employees. Good communication. On time. Good follow through. Highly recommend!

First time I used them was today. My technician was Jimmy S. and he was really nice. I would use him again when needed. The company kept me informed of when did the technician would probably be out here. If there was a delay they would inform me. I was fine with it all.

Quality work at reasonable cost. Source of leak had been misidentified by another plumbing company and frankly, didn’t make sense. I called Hoffman Brothers for a second opinion. They quickly identified the true source of the leak and made the needed repairs. Great job!

Our kitchen faucet needed a number of parts replaced recently. Our technician, Ebert, helped us secure the parts for free from the manufacturer and then returned as soon as they arrived to install them. Great customer service all around!
