On June 1st we called Hollis Locksmith at 7am. The night before our garage door lift master was not working and I could not find the release key. One of our outdoor cats was in the garage, stuck there overnight. The person on the phone told us that a tech would get back to us shortly. Someone finally called at 8:30. We told him about the situation. He agreed to come right away. He didn't arrive until 10am. He got the release pulled out and that was it. The door was still difficult to open. My husband pulled harder and finally got the door to open. The locksmith was there a total of 10 minutes if that long. He wrote up a bill that was $65 for the service call and $285 custom charge. A total of $350 for 10 minutes of being there. It would have been less money to just break one of the windows on the door and climb in. Never again will I call them. NOW A MONTH SINCE YOU STATED I WILL GET RIGHT BACK TO YOU. NO REPLY FROM YOU EITHER WAY ABOUT A REFUND. THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. WE WENT BY THE ADDRESS LISTED ON YOUR SITE AND IT ISN'T EVEN A STORE FRONT SO THAT WE COULD SPEAK TO YOU. Mr. Mahoney, you requested documents from me 3 weeks ago which I sent to you. At that time you got back to me right away stating that you would look into my being charged $350 for a 10 minute job. I haven't heard anything from you since July 12th. Why would you offer to review the service I received and look over the bill the worker gave me and offer a possible refund if you didn't mean it. My review of the service I received bothered you for you to get in touch with me and write on the review your reply. Was that just a show of good faith? Maybe we should be having all of these conversations on the Google review. Please get back to me with your determination and decision Marian McCauley

Quick, competent, and a job well done!!! To assist our business in opening a door to a storage cupboard for which the key had been lost, we phoned Hollis Locksmith. In less than 30 minutes, David fixed the door and created many new keys. He was quick and a pleasure to work with. Would contact this business again!
