My overall experience has been quite disheartening. After entering via safe route from America I was placed in 2 separate locations where there were severe safeguarding concerns and I became a victim to crime. I've waited almost 2 months for a voluntary return and have had many issues with that as well. The accommodation food has made me severely Ill and I now have gastro problems as well as severe mental distress. Because of the trauma I've had many panic and anxiety attacks and attempted to overdose. I hope this is not what everyone must experience when they have entered legally via a safe route. I'm being returned to my country and have been told I can not re-enter for several years. When I first entered the country I hand wrote Queen Elizabeth II a letter of gratitude and thanks. After everything I've been through the home office sent me a standardized "we're sorry" letter. Something is definitely wrong with the process of asylum and I hope that soon there's a resolve because many people are dying inside of the accommodations as we await our cases to be processed
