Great selection. Reasonable prices. Missing 5 stars due to customer service after one of my globes died in the outside light within 2 months. Called up to make sure they had the light, went into store and they sold all the spare ones that morning before I arrived. Had to go back the following week.

Excellent selection of both modern and old fashioned lights and fans. Prices comparable to other places. Some unique directional down lights I have not found elsewhere (good quality). There is onsite parking and there are two entrances to the parking area (one is right next to the traffic lights ).

Home of lights is a very old-established shop with a huge range of modern light fittings on display. As well as a light fitting, I bought a replacement standard ES fitting 240v LED globe, and was impressed by the quality of the light - definitely better than your average Osram or Phillips.

Great range of lights and the store isn't too cluttered like some other lighting stores. I received very good service and was able to find the products I was after. I have shopped in some of the large hardware franchises yet haven't been able to find the items I found at Home of Lights.

Was served by a grumpy lady who made me feel silly for even coming in with a question about a replacement pendant light. She gets 2 stars only because she suggested contacting a glazier, but in these times was really looking to support local and was really disappointed by her attitude.

I have been coming exclusively to this shop for over 30 years. Took my dusty lamp which sat in the corner for ages, without globe to this shop to check whether the lamp worked or just needed a new globe. The mature aged lady in the shop was

Better checking their refund policies. Website says something and when u actually go for exchange or refund they will disregard your request. Prices are 3 times expensive then Bunnings and Beacon. Also worth checking their reviews on

I was great disappointed with this place,3of 8 tubes were broken when Back home, and got change and bought 2 extra, the lady staff was rude , and when I back home , one of them was broken and one was different color.
