My favorite, and to my knowledge, the ONLY Asian bakery of its kind in Dublin! It's laid out in typical Asian bakery fashion where you grab a pair of tongs and tray and go through picking out the breads of your choice from see-through cases. They don't have a huge menu yet, but what they DO have are delicious staples of Asia (like buo luo bao, egg tarts, red bean buns, etc). My favorite is the buo luo - you can't find it anywhere else in Dublin! The top is crunchy and buttery, the way it should be, and the bun is soft and chewy. They are cash only so don't forget your wallet!  Good luck to the business owners, jia you! 加油! You guys are gonna be HUGE soon!

This place is amazing! Dublin has long needed an Asian bakery and it’s finally here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The space is small but clean! Absolutely love the fresh bread smell as soon as you push that door open. Great selection of Asian bread so far. My 2 favorites are the pineapple bun and coconut bun!! Bubble tea is top notch as well. They are quite new so I assume there’s probably a full range of more Asian bread variety to come. Really looking forward to see what else they have to offer! Do you take requests? I have a few childhood favorites from Taiwan that I have been missing since I moved when I was 13.

Love it! Freshly baked pastries...really soft and tasty! The bubble tea is just what I wanted! Most places in Dublin only do milk tea...but this one does green/black tea. I only didn't give 5 stars because you have to use cash or revolut...I know cash only is common for Chinese places (at least in Vancouver) but it can be annoying especially in times of covid...and I don't have revolut. Also, the egg tart seemed underdone. It shouldn't be completely hard but it was definitely too soft. The flavour was good, though.

Fresh and delicious. Bo lo bao are my favourite HK bakery bun and they do a really good one here - the bun is soft, pillowy and chewy and the cookie crust on top is light, crumbly and buttery with a little bit of saltiness which I like. I also enjoyed their red bean bun and HK egg tarts. Will definitely visit again and try the rest of their menu. I normally make my own since there's not that many Asian bakeries in Dublin so I'm glad this place has now opened and Dubliners can try authentic HK style bakery treats.

Walking into HK bakery reminds me of bakeries in Asia. Can confirm that everything HK bakery makes is delicious but highly recommend the bbq charsiu puffs, coconut loaf, coconut cream bun, egg tart and pandan swiss roll which are my personal favourites. The bakery also takes orders for celebration cakes and made a wonderful pandan fresh cream cake for my birthday which everyone enjoyed. The staff are also super friendly and as they currently only take cash, be sure to bring cash when you visit!

Found this little bakery randomly as I was looking for bubble tea on Google maps, and sooo happy I did! Their little buns are delicious, reminded me of the months I spent in South-East Asia. I tried the coconut bun and the red bean bun and they were perfectly soft, buttery and tasty! I took the original bubble milk tea 50% sugar and found it a bit too sweet for my taste, would be great if they did 20-30% sugar too. Will definitely come back to try the other buns!

Super fresh, pillowy buns made with quality ingredients. Just as good as the ones you get in HK if not better. Get a bo luo bun and add your own slab of butter for that unmistakable HK experience. Highly recommended. Update: They also take orders for celebration cakes. The fresh cream cake with fresh fruit is simply amazing. 40 eur for 8 inch, 55 eur for 10 inch. Perfect buttercream frosting with sweet, moist sponge layers and lots of fruit.

Cute little place in Dublin. Really reminds me of Hong Kong. Their pastries are super good. In my opinion their bubble tea is very consistent, fragrant and closest to Hong Kong style. This is my third cake ordered from Hong Kong bakery, although the first time, the cake was slanted they were very nice and gave me a discount for the next one I get from them. I am a regular customer and happy to be! You won’t be disappointed

Asked for Taro bubble tea which I definitely don’t think this is, not purple at all. Looks and a tastes more like normal milk tea. However it still tastes really good. The tapioca pearls were very nice and full of flavour. I also like that the lid and straw are paper and cardboard. And that the cup itself it’s quite a sturdy thick plastic. Could probably keep and use as a cup at home if you took off the paper lid!

  • NoMoreFun

I ordered bubble tea with taro and winter melon, I told them when I picked up the order if they are what they need to be, because none of them were purple as they are all bubble tea with taro, and no turquoise as they are. with wintermelon, the second time it happens, they are liars ... even though you tell them very clearly what you want to buy! This is taro or winter melon? We are a joke to you ?

Amazing Stuff! The pastries were simply amazing. Literally took me back to childhood memories of eating the buns from a local shop back home in Malaysia. Definitely an amazing addition to the Dublin food scene not to mention on how friendly and courteous they were.Hope they'll keep it up and maybe even come on Deliveroo soon. FYI: Make sure to go early and try their bubble tea while you're at it.

So, so, so good! Oh my gosh, it reminds me of when I used to go to the bakery as a kid (granted this was a bakery in Seoul and obviously this is a Hong Kong bakery but still). They are fresh. It's a great price range. Every time I walked past it I would smell how good the baked goods smelled. Finally, I went it and it was SO worth it. Yum. Def recommend the egg tarts.

The tastes of home! When you walk into this Hong Kong bakery, it smells incredible. The char siu baos were so fresh. The bao is light and the filling is very flavorful. They also sell Nian Gao for Chinese New Year and Lo Bak Go on preorder. They were sold out of bo lo bao (pineapple buns) but we are looking forward to trying them next time!

  • Ang Sk

Small little shops which was almost always close when I pass by. Place to go if you are craving asian style soft milk bread with different fillings. Plus they have some HK style pastry too and bubble tea. They only accept cash so I couldn't get anything. My friend got a bubble tea and she really liked it …

  • Yayu Y

The quality and price/value are amazing! I went there for the first time today and got a BuoluoBao (Pineapple bun) and egg tart - SO GOOD, definitely can match the bakeries in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. To the pastry chef: you are so talented - I would love to sign up if you open pastry class!

  • 마의dai_maui

Absolutely love their bread. Had to try all the pastry they offer but the best i think is their bento cake! A little pricey for a small cake but taste heavenly ❤️ my boyfriend who doesn’t eat sweets normally indulged after only a bite of the cake. This is my go-to bakery in Ireland.

  • Domenico Ieracitano

This place is amazing! It sells a coconut bun that tastes very similar (igual/idêntico!) to brazilian "pão doce de coco". Also, there is another thing that tastes and looks like "cavaca". To all my fellow Brazilians that are home-sick and love "pão doce" that's the place!

  • 고고미희

If you want to eat Asian soft bread, this is Dublin's best bakery. Fresh, soft, and tasty place!!!! You are going to love it

I recently discovered this gem on a random walk. The bo luo bun and coconut cream bun are fastastic! Freshly made and so delicious. Bubble tea is probably also the best I’ve had in Dublin. My only regret is not buying more buns!!!!! I will come back a lot

  • Marco Perrozzi

  • A G

We were actually went in for the bubble tea and a Matcha soy and Taro soy. It was yummy and cold. But surprisingly we also took some pastry, curry chicken bread and a red bean bread.. o my lord. Those breads were very soft and what a full

  • Audrey Chew

Love the char siu puffs, egg tarts, and the fluffy variety of buns they have may it be the sweet bo luo bun or the coconut bun..or the savoury cheese, bacon and more! Great variety but do bring some cash with you as they don't accept card!

  • jerome joseph philip

For me personally this was just an average affair. Probably because I was too full from dinner I tried their Swiss roll and coconut tart they good and fresh that’s all I can say.

I DONT RECOMMEND going here because i bought a bubble tea and while drinking I found a FLY on my bubble tea ! Was so unhygienic and unprofessional the tea isn’t even nice I swear.waste of money !!! …

  • Cosmos Ndebele

Nice bakery with fresh products. They need to introduce debit/credit cards payment not cash only.... Its old fashioned to insist on cash only during a pandemic. But, apart from that, I recommend them highly

  • Bogdan Andrei M

Giving my review later but I like this place, has good stuff, also when it’s the moon cake time, don’t miss out them, they have some interesting flavours, the custard one was the best, not too sweet …

Reasonably priced Asian baked bread in Dublin. Some bread are great (soft and fluffy), some not recommended (tasted flat and dry). But my go to place for egg tarts.
