How can you provide even a one star rating to Brisbane, Indian consulate? Worst communication ever, as they don't reply to calls, emails or even give generic reply to queries to FAQ on their website. Had to travel 80kms to their office from work only to find out that their appointment has to be made online. I think Indian government should take some action against Brisbane Indian consulate not providing trust worthy or dependable service to NRI's! They think they are doing you a favor and have forgotten that they have been put to help Indian Citizens seeking assistance. I'm writing to Foreign Secretary of India - Vinay Kwatra about their incompetence - I would encourage others to do the same if you think change is necessary.
I am travelling to india 4rd oct for one month. Its so hard to apply for tourist visa. The webside only give me option for the month of Sep 2023. I have called most relevant Indian visa department. He referred me back to the website. Which was a waste of my time and his time. Indian consulate Brisbane,, website, telephone number says leave a message. No one pick the phone. What is the issue? Why i can't I apply online? I am Australian citizen. Please help

My mother passed away two weeks ago . I was extremely shattered and devastated .I contacted Archana and she called me back with in hour and explained me what to do next .I had to applied emergency visa for my sister so she can come here and attend the funeral. Archana Mam explained me the whole process and helped me to get her visa in just two days. I am really thankful to her.

Very poor service. I was trying to get an appointment since last 3 months through email, once got a reply to give my details and mobile number , still waiting for a call and no reply for emails after that. I think we should report it to Indian govt./ S Jaishankar

There was no information online suggesting they open only on appointment . Had to go there to find out. Also their phone number doesnt work. Great service. Was very proud.. Same standard of service like in india. Maintaining same standard
Mobile doesn't answer and land line constantly gives the message "mail box is full". Extremely unhelpful. Impossible to get simple information that cannot be found online.
I feel lucky to have someone like her in Brisbane because HCI was not replying at all. Appreciate your help. Thanks again …
