Used to be good under previous owners. All downhill with new ones. Two young Aussie girls on the counter were nice and tried to be helpful. Not their fault the food was less than average, and there were no utensils available to actually eat your meal. Apparently that has been the case for some time now. Pretty slack effort and couldn't care less attitude from owners. They still got paid so why care? Won't be back in a hurry.

Friendly helpful staff. Placed our order at the end of the day and were offered an extra piece of fish and two scallops (gratis). Quality of food always good.Grilled fish option, and chips always fresh.Very prompt service.

Beautiful food! Huge serves! Reasonably priced. Our fav is the seniors pack for $11.50 easily feeds 2! A small salad, 1/4 chicken & chips. The pasta salad is a firm fav!

Thought I’d give them another go. The first time I ordered something from here, the chicken was Cold and came out an oven instead of off a bbq rotisserie. Today they have no chickens. Should change name to just, Hook. You can’t run out of chickens at 6pm. Com on. Won’t be back

Sorry but we have given hook and chook a couple of goes but unfortunatly we won't be going back Chips were cold and so salty we could hardly eat them fish was like eating cardboard The plus side the hamberger was ok but not fussed on the bun it came in Potato cakes were also like cardboard It's a no from us

Great value for money and good quality food. $40 fed our family of 3 plus the chooks got a feed because we couldn’t eat it all haha. Fish was really good and the hamburger was magnificent. Highly recommended

We placed a large order for chickens, with only a few days notice, but Rod and his staff were fantastic. Order was piping hot and ready on time!! Portions were perfect and the chicken was beautiful...Will definitely!!!!! be back

Previously would have only had good things to say but recently the quality of the food is very inconsistent, rubbery chips and potato cakes today & the burger seemed to be made with a frozen meat Pattie, not worth $21-50 at all

Went here for first time ordered my meal had to what a while no communication with workers was not polite to a customer when I got order in car bearly hot even after waiting however chicken was really nice and chips good to.

Burgers where pretty good. Only reason for the 3 stars. The chips were dry and chewy. Fish was very oily. Don't think there oil is hot enough.

Sorry wont be back, first time ordering tonight, fish was soggy, potatoe cakes were like cardboard, no organisation between the staff, also forgot part of our order, will not be back

We have had a couple of issues with hook and chook, the owner was ready to confront the issue head on listening and very apologetic. Trying what he can to better his business.
