The shop is local to me, so I have used it often to obtain supplies for my child's pet and for the purchase of plants for our small garden. Sadly, despite my polite and friendly disposition, I have mostly received hostile glares and animosity from the sales lady. Last week, the antipathy culminated in an overcharge/cheat. I bought a couple of small potted plants for my child each clearly priced at £3.99 but she charged me £8.99 for each. The items had been reduced, but she obviously decided that the discount should not apply to me, a person with an ethnicity she held with disdain. My promise to her is never to visit her shop again and I would like to convey my best wishes.

Ordered my wedding bouquet, a buttonhole for my fiancé and a few twigs of flowers for my hair for the big day. Couldn’t have been happier or more satisfied! Kristie is a wonderful person/professional! Literally met the exact expectations I had (beautiful peonies+foliage), very helpful with recommendations and ideas. The wonderful team delivered the beauties free of charge on the day, exactly on time! Such friendly and caring people, no fuss, no confusion, masters of their jobs! Everyone was in awe of the elegant flower arrangement! 1000 % recommend!

I have often forgotten that it's there even though it's closest to where I live, and have tended to think of the Alexandra Palace Garden Centre as first port of call. That's now changed. It's a handy little local plant and pet shop, very friendly and helpful staff, has everything I've ever needed including advice whenever I've asked - and probably not as pricey as Ally-Pally!

I was in here today with my puppy. The lady (short hair and glasses) was super nice with the little one. She even gave her a treat, but Greta is a bit distrustful at the beginning and only ate it when 'mummy' gave it to her :D I have been in the shop many times before to buy both: pet and garden supplies, and they offer a wide range of products. Lovely local shop.

The lovely florist at Hornsey Pet and Garden shop made a beautiful flower spray for me to take to my friend’s funeral. She went out of her way to make sure the flowers would survive my train journey. She was so helpful when I ordered the flowers and couldn’t have been nicer. The price was extremely competitive and I won’t go anywhere else for flowers now!

These guys are wonderful and super accommodating. I was having trouble getting compost delivered. I spoke to these guys over the phone and they were happy to deliver a few bags of compost to me free of charge, I live in Hornsey. Note they have reduced operating hours currently, seems like 10am-2pm weekdays.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Advised me not to buy lavender for indoor use despite the loss of that sale by doing so — always impressed when staff are more interested in maintaining customer satisfaction than increasing their profits. Will def come back here for more trailing ivy in future.

It's the only pet shop in the area and it's been there for ages (I remember the parrot as a child, not there anymore :(. ) Stocks pretty much everything you need for your pet including live reptile food. Very reasonably priced for Crouch End and staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I went in to get some advice about my plant which I believe has root rot and there was a lovely lady who helped me and gave me great tips on how to care for my plant. I loved the whole atmosphere and how lovely and helpful the member of staff was. I would highly recommend.

Knowledgeable staff. They have a mixture of plants and pet foods, larger bags than local supermarkets. Litter, pet toys, fish. You might get some stuff cheaper but you would have to travel. They used to deliver but I'm not sure if they still do. You can always ask.

One of my favourite place to go for flowers. I absolutely love this place. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I’m always confused when it comes to flowers but they know which flowers are best for what occasion. Thank you so much for always being the best.

Quaint lil shop. Caters predominantly to plants and flowers. But hidden in this gem of a shop is the necessity fish accessories. All at affordable prices that wont kill your pocket. Great customer service. I am a happy customer. I will shop here again

The staff here have been incredibly friendly and helpful with stocking up on everything needed for a puppy, figuring out the right food and ordering a certain kind of lead for me when they didn't have it. Lucky to have it nearby!

We specifically came here because it's listed as open from 9am online...its 9:30am and clearly not open. Really disappointing and a bit amateur for a respectable business to not have their proper hours displayed online...

Excellent Pet Shop very good members of staff very helpful and the added bonus they also have a mini garden centre there with variety of flowers plant tomatoes which I get my tomatoes plants from and they are very good

Convenient. They have all the essentials for gardening and pet food, and a good choice of seasonal plants and flowers to plant. It wouldn't hurt if the lady was a tad more friendly though.
