In response to Russell Ruplinger - I find it disheartening that you would give 1 star to a station that has given over 140 consecutive years of uninterrupted service to the Washington strip and surrounding area. Service that includes everything from visiting schools to risking personal safety to save lives and property not to mention helping those that need emergency care every single day ,24 hrs/day including holidays. I find it interesting that you believe parking a fire truck in a dedicated fire lane is illegal. If maneuvering your vehicle is "extreme chaos", then congratulations....you have had a blessed and fortunate life. Please forgive the firefighters that don't want to walk a half block to the truck when the call drops to deal with real "extreme chaos". Have a nice day.

Hello FS 6, I wanted to write a review based on my sons visit to your station. You guys were so kind to allow him to come into your house and walk around and sit in your truck. He was the happiest 2 year old ever. I pray you stay safe out there and thank you again for the warm welcome.

When I lived in this area Station 6, the men and women, here, were pretty nice. Usually when I interacted with them, it was because I was a fire monitor for the floor of my building. Great bunch they are.

When you guys go to the HEB, could you not park illegally? It causes the entire lot to turn into extreme chaos. I happen to know you're within walking distance from the HEB.

Fire station number 6 is the busiest fire station I have ever seen. Doesn’t seem these guys ever get a break. Lights and sirens going off constantly.

Are you supposed to rate fire stations? I don't know, but I see these guys busy all the time so I'm going to do it.
